Lol sorry I can't really help it. It's not from where I am from or anything like that.
It's a form of Rhotacism Speech Impediment, trust me if it's annoying to you now think on how it feels to live with it. I've been to speech therapist but nothing has really helped. Forcing myself to try and pronounce my mistakes usually comes off as really forced so I usually go with how I normally speak when voicing rolls.
If you guys do have any feedback i'm more than welcome to it, or any ideas for top tens :)

Or top ten games that were rated unfairly (I mean for age restrictions). Like there is a casino game that the ESRB has rated Ao. Why? Because gambling. Even though you have gambling in games like DOAX and the plethora of Black Jack/ poker games, many of which didn't have a rating higher than T. And the casino game doesn't have any language, barely shows any people, and they are all fully clothed, no drug or alcohol use, no suggestive themes as the "conversations" were strictly about the casino game at hand, no religious references, and it even included a disclaimer to tell people to get help if they have a gambling problem.

We did have something like Satellaview in the US. Around 1994-1995, I remember picking up the XBAND modem, which was a cartridge add-on for the SNES that was essentially a modem. You could get news, email, and even play selected games online. There was also a Sega Genesis version that came out at around the same time. But where I lived, there was limited options for any of the things I could do with the add-on and the cost involved at the time was too great. Plus no one close to where I lived owned one and calling costs outside the calling area were rather steep. So I stopped using mine.

Nintendo probably thought about releasing the Satellaview elsewhere, but since the N64's release was just around the corner it was probably deemed to risky to do so. Nintendo actually has a long history of waiting too long to do things. The N64 Disc Drive had been in development since shortly after the consoles' release, but once it was actually ready to be released the N64 was near the end of it's life cycle. It was released in Japan anyway, but it didn't do well and was soon discontinued with only a very small handful of games released. Then there was the Gamecube, which should have had online support like it's competitors but barely did at all. There was a broadband adapter released for online play, but only 2 games utilized it(3 in Japan). They finally got with the program when the Wii was released....but not completely. The Wii didn't have HDMI output or the ability to add a hard drive(although it did support certain SD cards for extra storage).

Apparently Nintendo also released the DS and 3DS under the iQue label in mainland China before the lifting of their ban on game consoles, so the N64 wasn't actually the only system to get that type of obscure closed-off release.

I had a Satellaview when I was a child, it was pretty much a glorified radio with games that went with it. Had to install the satilite dish too wish was probably the most expensive thing. God I really didn't use that thing to its potential... now that I think of it. But I was like 10 at the time and didn't understand what it was about fully.
I've heard of LaserActive, Halcyon, Action Max, iQue Player, and the SNES addon before watching this video

I have an ActionMax VHS tape (.38 Ambush Alley) that I found at a local thrift for I think 50 cents, but haven't found the console yet. Pretty oddball system, so if I could find it cheap I'd certainly add it to my collection.
I actually picked mine up at a goodwill clearance center still in the box for 2 bucks man but no vhs tapes i'm on the hunt for them now.
Nifty little system, I want to open it up and see how barren it is on the inside since all the games are so simple lol
$2? Now that was a nice stroke of luck. I used to find a lot of good game deals at the local thrifts, but speculators with phones have been cutting into that lately. Still do find the occasional deal though. Keep up the good work!

The Video Challenger's "game" library also included Data East's Road Avenger.
It's a shame about the Sateleview... Westerners didn't get the awesomeness of Radical Dreamers till someone had managed to get a working rom translated. It's what Chrono Cross was sort of based on, but without the alternate worlds but still with Yasunori Matsuda's delicious music.

I had the Actionmax tapes, but not the console. But they did work with my Captain Power spaceship.
I actually knew about the IQue and the Setelleview so it was cool to see these in the video.

i used to have one of those light gun vhs games here in australia when i was a kid. you would shoot targets on the television and a score would be on the gun itself. The even worked with some godzilla movie I had at the time lol.
Well, the iQue Player might be the most interesting one on this list for some reason... Firstly the founder of iQue was a Chinese guy that worked for SGI before, so, that explains why they release an N64 clone in 2003, I guess? Secondly, despite being an "old" system at that time, iQue Player had new techs as well, for example, maybe the iQue@home can be considered as a primitive eShop (I think it's even before DSiWare being a thing but I'm not sure), and you can install game manuals onto the console. It's said that they even planned to have online multiplayer feature on the system but, you know why they didn't make it. Nowadays Nintendo consoles have all these, just that you don't need a PC, and, maybe it is from these iQue Player features. Thirdly, it's kinda interesting that such console can exist just because China had a pretty weird gaming market back then. Oh and, the next console they sell, the iQue DS, is pretty much NDS, and for some reason it's actually the most "region free" DS on the market, because there are games for that DS (consider them "Chinese region" game) that other NDS can't run due to region lock, which also means they kinda started the software level region locking things for Nintendo handhelds... I think.

I wouldn't mind having the Laseractive, plus the MegaDrive and PC Engine modules you can plug in to it. Pity Pioneer couldn't make an updated version that plays more disc formats including UltraHD Blu-Rays.

The only difference between the Satellaview and the Sega Channel (aside from the consoles they were released for) is that the Satellaview actually became more successful. ;)

xavix licenced their motion technology to 2 other companies for use in plug and play games in the mid 2000s. square enix used the technology for a standalone dragon quest game that never left japan, while tiger electronics, in their only jab at the tv games market, used it in a lord of the rings console game in the US.
