And they thought PSTV was able to let you experience all of the games Vita had to offer. That's bullshit because there have been numerous games that can't be played via PSTV or are simply incompatible
Some sub groups of gaming don't know Megaman is a franchise. And yes, I've actual interacted with those who never heard of it. The idea of gaming communities not knowing of the CDi isn't a surprise.
Imagine how different it would be now if nintendo and sony did collaborate, would the playstation consoles still exist? How different would've the future nintendo consoles be,or would they be the same?
I remember streaming from my PS4 to my Vita to play AC Black Flag. It's literally the only game I was so into, that I wanted to play while my wife was using the TV. It was honestly a cool feature, even though the controls were a little wonky, but it was good enough to farm for money and materials while sitting on the couch! Not to mention the cool mobile phone trade feature where you could send captured ships to sell your goods, and even take on pirate ships that attacked you! That was such a great game haha...
I think he’s got the Ouya confused with OnLive, maybe? As you say, the Ouya was just an android console, it wasn’t built around streaming games over the internet
Alternative history their. Nintendo first partnered with Sony but got cold feet when they realized the deal would give Sony too much control and profit from the partnership. So they reneged on the deal during the announcement of the system by Sony. Announcing their plans with Phillips instead. This is how the PlayStation came to be.
Here's a recent console you forgot about... The Xavix. It has motion controls before the Wii. Unfortunately, you had to buy a whole new Physical set of motion controls for each game. Nintendo did it cheap by "genericizing" the motion controls. Instead of separate baseball and bat, tennis rackets, golf clubs, boxing gloves, and bowling ball, they did it all in one Wiimote.

What? Nintendo had nothing to do with the CDi… the Nintendo games that appeared on it were down to them being licensed as part of the deal for Phillips to develop the SNES CD drive, which was a completely separate endeavour.
I did know about the Phillips CDI in the 90's but by pure chance as I happened to be unwell and watched TV in the middle of the night only to come across an informercial for it. I remember it making the console seem way more advanced than it was including "HELP" played by a female actress which appeared to be some kind of AI assistant lol. I remember seeing the Zelda games and being excited to try it someday; little did I know how BAD they play.
I don't know who wrote the script for this video, but the segment about the Ouya is completely incorrect. Ouya WAS NOT a streaming-only device like Stadia.. It was an actual console, with the hardware being based around a relatively (for the time) cellphone chipset. Games were delivered as digital downloads from the internet, and were stored in their entireity in the Ouya's internal flash storage, or on a memory stick inserted into the Ouya's USB slot. That is most assuredly NOT a streaming service, Stadia was nothing like that, as it didn't even rely on a physical device to use. It was entirely online, and delivered as such on yout PC or Mac or via a Google-made cellphone (you did need the Stadia controller, but there was nothing special about the controller itself). I think you may be confusing the Ouya for the OnLive, which was a streaming service, delivered to a mini-console plugged into your TV. It had some big-name titles available at the time, such as Batman: Arkham City. The mini-console had no local storage available to it. It struggled, as internet speeds simply weren't fast enough to deliver consistant High Definition graphics at 30 or 60 FPS (Stadia failed for much the same reason). However, OnLive was actually made available as a service on the Ouya, in an effort to boost that platofrm, when it became evident that it was struggling against the mainstream devices. OnLive folded and the service ceased. Anyone with an OnLive console and controller these days, has a fancy paperweight, while Ouya had been ressurected by fans. It's not all bad news for OnLive though - the technology and servers were bought by Sony, who used it as the basis for it's PlayStation Now service to stream PS3 content to PlayStation 4 & 5, instead of giving us actual backwards compatibility.
The fact that you don't get that Stadia is really affordable and the tech and the games are great. It shows that you are narrow-minded and stuck in your ways of consoles and disks, and that's why I'm unsubscribed
They ain't lying. I have the ROG Ally, and it delivered everything and more that the GPD promised. So do yourself a favor and just get the ROG.. its amazing
actually the verry first portable and home gaming handheld was the gamegear back in 1994 or 1995 and sony did adapt the technology on their sony PSP 2000 series and aded a dock with the psp go plus GPD is not the only company developing PC gaming handheld

@0PointZero1 one problem how is that thing going to cool down cuz your console will fry if you cook and your food will not cook without heat Answer me that
