Japan’s shipping is absolutely crazy. Amazon Japan, from what I’ve heard, can often times get your item to you the same day you purchase it or the next day. Sendico getting you the items the day after you ordered is insane.

The PS2 power supply is auto ranging, the supply should work on US power as long as you use the right cord, I have one that I bought in Japan when I was there and they just came out and it still works perfect.
About a couple months ago, I came across a spice orange game cube on eBay, it was just the GameCube by itself with no power cords or anything. It was from a seller in Japan and they had also installed it with a region switch mod. Best thing about it $80 with $20 shipping. Best purchase I ever did since data showed that the spice orange gamecube essentially by itself I believe it’s like $200 loose
the apple pippin used a mostly standard 4X CD-ROM drive with a SCSI interface, an internal eject button controlled by the console, and set to SCSI ID #3. If it's not working, the problem is likely just the rubber belt inside has degraded. You can easily disassemble and replace the belt.

The 64DD is probably the only obscure console I've owned that I actually have used a lot (and also the only one I haven't sold). The F-Zero X Expansion Kit is really really good.
That red PS3 Slim isn't Japan-exclusive. I have one as a 3004 model (European). Looks really cool and I got it for quite cheap, because I bought it in parts. The GameCube is super easy to convert to US region, you just need to jump a couple of contacts. You can even install a switch to swap it back and fourth.
I didn't know how to calculate it, but I wanted to figure out how much the loan would actually be. Chat GPT says it'd be a total of $97,532.03 after the 96 month term
iirc you don't need a stepdown converter for the PS2, they use 100v in west japan, and 110 in east japan, and the majority of electronics are made with those tolerances in mind; the US uses 120v which is working within the tolerance zone for the transformer inside the PS2. If you're european and using 240v then that's gonna cause issues, but you don't need one for the US.
