I don't mean to sound to appreciative. However , I appreciate I appreciate you for this video I was apprehensive about buying a laser engraver. Because all I would needed for is basically small images. Because I've seen this. I was able to buy it for patches. I appreciate you and I matched this all the way with the commercials.🎉🎉🎉🎉 I 10 needle 🪡 embroidery machine
Hey Matt, I'm glad that you found a digitizer that works for you. Keep up the good work because I know you're an inspiration to me and many others with your positive attitude and you can do it to thought process. You are part of the reason why I purchased my embroidery machine. I went with a different brand that is based out of Florida primarily because of their customer support. Keep up the good work because I know you keep a lot of us motivated to do better for ourselves. Thanks for sharing my friend.
Laser cut a jig that fits inside the hoop with the cutout of the patch, so you can reference the exact same spot every time. That should eliminate any error and make it so you don't have to do the first stitching pass.
9:34 in your thread selection or preferences of the machine you should be able to add an appliqué step. This will tell the machine to bring the frame forward to apply the patch. Then pressing start you can rerun the stitch.
Looks good but I would run that stitch twice. Just for some added security to the holding. That's just me. YOu can also put it on manual between stitches. Meaning have your digitizer make your INITIAL ring one color and the next step another color. Then it's 2 steps instead of 1. Put it on manual instead of auto. Once it finishes the first ring it will self stop then you place your patch and hit start and it'll finish. Makes it soooooo much faster and less button pushing
How did you get the embroidery line exactly the size you needed to 'applique' the patch on hat? It looks awesome and will be great for my grandchildren this winter.
Hey Matt I asked Smartstitch the other day about stopping the machine at color changes they sent me the appliqué video and it shows how to set an offset to get the hoop to automatically move forward and stop. Awesome video I was wondering if it would embroider though leatherette 👍
Im glad I found your channel!! i know zero about embroidery and watching your videos now I want that watching. What is the difference between the green base and blue? Why does the price change?
That’s really hard that all depends on your area. You’ll have to call around to see what other people are charging or ask people when they got to work done. What did they charge you?

Thank you for this video, I am thinking about getting the 12 needle, but was wanting to know about magnetic hoops! Which mighty hoop system did you purchase? Also what type of file does it use?
@@laserengravingwithmatt Thanks for the quick reply. I clicked on the link next to the Mactron Fiber Laser, and it is coming up with a blank page. I should have said that initially, LOL. Sorry.
Thanks

That is brilliant. I am doing that right now. Thanks

Thanks. But I tried and it won’t let me for some reason
You can program the machine to do a "Frame Out" where it will bring out the beanie when it lays the alignment stitch. it makes it easier.
I actually take it out now to put the patch on.
Great idea! Do you think this could be done with a structured Richardson trucker hat?
I haven’t tried yet
Thank you for your great videos.
You bring a positive vibe unlike the other videos I watched.
Do you think it would work on Cos hide leather?
I would think so

I made a wood jig. I will be making a new video on that this winter

How do you price your embroidered hats, etc?

Still unavailable on Amazon. They must sell whatever stock they have quickly. More time to save up, I guess. 😂
Yeah they definitely have them priced right.
Chinese New year. They have taken some time off.Watch for restock
