Very informative tutorial. Probably the best VJ loop tutorial I've watched.
Wow, thanks! Appreciate that I was actually thinking about turning this into crypto art!
this man out here doing god's work. well done.
Haha thank you man 😎
Love that name BTW Shredda sounds dope
The video sound is pretty good, beyond my imagination
Music by @beMotion ruclips.net/video/HYb1zzyEqyE/видео.html
This is really helpful.
Thanks so much.
I'm a C4D user and try to learn UE4
There are lots of UE tutorial on RUclips but about video game design.
I mean video game is cool but I need some more like this.
Anyway thanks WINBUSH.
Thank you man. Yea not alot of people use it for motion graphics yet so I'm trying my best to put out what I can do 🤙🏾
Thanks! This tutorial was very useful for me.
You're welcome glad it helped
I like your image better here, you are somehow real here, you don't play to the public somehow,
You are real here!👌🤙👍
I'm still the same ol G 😎
WINBUSH. YA GETTIN YOKED BRAH.
Man I'm trying lol. This lockdown made me put on a bunch of unwanted weight but I'm back at it for sure 💪🏿
Kandungan video sangat baik, tahniah
Terima kasih
Many thanks ! Great tutorial ! More tutorials with C4D and Unreal Engine since they support c4d please. Best wishes
More to come!
Superb tutorial. So detailed and helpful.
Two requests-
1) is it possible to render passes for compositing?
2) How can one combine live action footage with UE4 render?
Thanks so much
Yea you can do render passes but they are limited. In the render window you can see the pass there where you select your format.
Then you can combine live footage using composure which is available in UE4.25 that released today but I havent had a chance to check it out yet.
Amazing tutorial)
Thank you !!
Niceone Winbush! some great tips and good creativity in here! :)
Thank you Cedric 🙏🏾
You working in unreal as well?
@@JonathanWinbush In fact no... but this makes me discover it and it looks so powerful that I may want to have a look at it now... I am still mainly on C4D but want to keep my options open! Thanks again for the great video!
I hear you. It's free so its worth at least playing around with at some point you might find it useful in your workflow.
WINBUSH I didn’t know it is a free software. I will investigate ASAP! Thanks again! And keep them tutorials coming!
Yup its free unless you make a game to sake but even then you only have to buy in if yiur game makes over 100k but for any other use it's 100% free
Amazing! You've got yourself another subscriber! I cam from your Real-time Virtual Sets, but it's a little dated, and it doesn't show methods of recording output or what happens when you press play (some particle effects and weather systems require it). Everything else in the video is explained perfectly. Top notch.
Thanks! What virtual set did you work at?
@WINBUSH I've got a project in unreal 4.26 for set for realtime-virtual production, I've got a green screen with a camera streaming to PC, I've got a Vive controller mounted to the camera set up to track. (not reliable as I can't seem to always find the proper controller Device ID answers.unrealengine.com/questions/1010660/view.html like so) . Then in unreal, I have a 3D environment where I put a plane (with composure plugins enabled) on which to stream the keyed video, and in my cinematic, there is a CineCamera that is the Vive tracked camera and shoots the projected plane in the environment. The thing is when I simulate or play (required for UltraDynamicSky and weather and other stuff) Cameras in the composure system (cg actor/mediaplane etc) go suspended like: answers.unrealengine.com/questions/1010899/view.html and even if they didn't I'm not sure how I'd go on recording the whole thing. I'd like to also record the tracked camera using sequence recorder or sth so I can have what to edit after shooting real-time)
Even if you forget the Vive controller, the same issues arise. I didn't find any videos on the full workflow I just badly described, You can be the first one! Thank you for your time.
Thank you for this tutorial, really helpful!
Your welcome glad you found it helpful 🤙🏾
I actually key framed at frame 751 on the camera instead of 750. Since 0 and 100 percent are the same on the align to spline, keyframing at one frame further prevents the same frame from repeating on a loop.
🤙🏿
Bruh great tutorial you got there. Although the final should be getting better if you adding some motion blur and depth of field at ue engine? that would be perfect man!
Thanks man. Yea your 100% right but didn't want to make the tutorial to long but i agree post processing volume dof and blur would def be an improvement here.
seriously you are amazing
Thank you Jake 🤙🏾
awesome bro! really nice one! Stay safe and God bless
Thanks! You too!
21:20 - S22 does not have that box in file pref settings... I am in the nightmare you describe LOL - but...my 1st time in UE4 engine (other than when you were at NAB!)
Great tut regardless man thanks so much!
Man I wish I had S22 to check it out for you. Someone on twitter told me that option is on by default in S22 but I guess not huh?
YOUR TUTORIAL AWESOME ..... CAN U PLEASE MAKE SOME VIDEO ON HOW TO MAKE ALPHA RENDER SEQ PNG
FROM UNREAL ..
Thank you🙏🏾

@@JonathanWinbush awesome thanks a lot 🤘🤘🤘🤘
Thank you for this amazing tutorial
Thank you in Arabic : Shokran 😀
Haha i like it! Shokran 🙏🏾
34:47, have you tried using custom render passes? I added a depth pass, but it doesn't seem to be anti-aliased and has some artifacts.
The render passes aren't that good in Unreal most recently I've been using the post process volume do to all my color grading and everything in Unreal so theres no need for any passes I can get my final result in Unreal no need for AE
@@JonathanWinbush Interesting perspective. I find that separate render passes can be very helpful in post, so regardless, I hope they improve them at some point.
Yea I think epic is trying to make unreal the end game so you won't need like AE or Nuke you can do it all from one program. Well see what 4.26 brings though 👊🏾
@@JonathanWinbush Yeah, we'll see. Thanks for all your great content. Keep up the great work!
very interesting thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Always Great stuff! Quick question what do you use for your screen capture?
Thanks.
Yea for screen capture I just use OBS its free and works great.
Uu mama mia nice i like it
Thanks
Hi WinBush, thanks for the videos! I'm curious, why did you bother transferring it into Unreal? Couldn't you have done that quicker with a slightly better camera quality in Cinema4d?
Unreal is much faster and the quality is on par with any DCC
@@JonathanWinbush sheet if it's as fast as your replies I'll start using it lol. I'm trying to make animation loops and cinematic shorts. Should I even bother with Cinema 4D? I already have experience with Unreal Engine.
How am I JUST now seeing this? RUclips algorithms are absolutely suspect.
You gotta hit that notification bell lol
Thank you for this tut!
My pleasure!
@@JonathanWinbush Hope you also show how we can export sweep nurbs animations to unreal too!
Yup will do it 😉
Awesome tutorial!
Could you please show us how to install megascan live link plugin in unreal 4.25 am having issues with that
You should get a prompt to update when you open bridge i just did it not to long ago
@@JonathanWinbush I did that but am still having issue to link it with Unreal 4.25
Hi, it's pretty good Thanks.. How can you play sequencer in loop without stopping at the end?
Thanks
In the lower left of the sequencer near the play button you should see a arrow you can press to make loop
Hi!! Amazing tutorial, Help me please, i have a cinema 4d r20, and dont have cineware... what the problem?
Use save for melange instead
ruclips.net/video/eJBLOXKahQk/видео.html
please make some tutorial about full robotic mechanical rigging just like terminator type of robot
Sorry man I'm not an character animator at all I use Mixamo for all my character animations
@@JonathanWinbush I think you know so I ask, well its okay
Never stop keep being crative it will payoff.
It sure will 👊🏾
Hi, I don't have the full tunnel showing up in UE4, cloners aren't imported, i surely did something wrong but can't figure out what it is.. Do u have any ideas?
honestly its tough to tell without seeing you go through it
@@JonathanWinbush Well, in fact when i import to ue4 only the basic part of the tube appears, not others cloned.. I ll try to take a look at it tomorrow..
@@LoganVFX check your cloner it has to be on instance it can't be on multi instance or render instance
@@JonathanWinbush Actually i m on r19, i don't have multiple options, so i unticked render instances but it seems to be not working..
Edit: It works now, thx a lot for the quick answers, 👍
can u help me pls?

You'd have to contact epic im not sure what that means
@@JonathanWinbush ok thanks
Hey winbush, if i used some redshift textures on c4d will unreal still be able to read them? thanks
No for now its only native c4d materials
@@JonathanWinbush Got it. Thanks!
topoformer not available anymore. Some alternatives?
Im not sure
thanks for the tutorial, at 18:11 when I drag the camera in the dop sheet nothing happend, it's c4d 21
solved when I restart the file
Cool you got it then?
@@JonathanWinbush yes thanks, now have some issues when put the glow material in UE, it's not the same as you had, I mean visually
Did you put the post processing in your scene
Hey Winbush. This is great, I followed everything but when I apply the megascans texture to the tube it is washed out and not that dark colour that makes the Neon lights pop. I started with the default scene (unreal chairs and coffee table) could it be something to do with the world settings or something I need to adjust with material ...or possibly the viewport? Any advice would be great! Thanks man :). Note: I deleted skybox, sky light, light source etc. It's just the emissive materials creating light that i'm aware of.
Maybe try the broadcast template not the gaming one and see if that works
Hey mate , this is a really awesome tutorial however i am having some issues with the animation when i import it into unreal. Im using C4D r23 and the Cineware settings are different to what you have in r21 . Can you do a quick update for r23 users please. Keep up the great tutorials , cheers
Yup you should check out my latest videos on my channel but this should help 🤙🏿ruclips.net/video/YgyjudRWVIg/видео.html
@@JonathanWinbush I have watched that video , just tried opening the C4D file in UE4 but none of the cloner objects showed up just the original object. I think im getting lost with the baking the camera animation somehow.
@@djdavewarren Hmm not i'm really sure then if you bake your camera you should get keyframes and that'll just open up in UE
@@JonathanWinbush yeah , i have followed everything in the video ... pause and play at each part but i must be doing something wrong , there is just no animation data coming across. Thanks for the replies , i keep at it and try an figure it out .
@@JonathanWinbush Got it working ... what had happened is that in Cinema 4D was the animation wasn't activated in the keyframe view. So when i saved it and imported it into UE4 the camera wasn't animated . Thanks for the help, really appreciated. Looking forward to your next vid !
cant download the topographer any more ?
Im not sure. Its sold on pixellabs
I have cinema 4d rd 20 so i tried to import it into ureal engine but it didnt work
so what should i do
I have alot of videos on my channel on importing c4d to unreal you can check out
@@JonathanWinbush For some reason when i import my materials into unreal engine and add it to the tube it doesnt update
@@nask8503 It's hard to trouble shoot without seeing what your doing. I'd say watch my more recent c4d to ue tutorials and see if your missing any steps in there I didn't show textures in this tutorial just basic materials
