Samyang 35 1.8 FE in 2024 | The little 35mm lens for everyday full frame

I just purchased this lens largely because of your review. I'm new to the full-frame camera world so I've been of the belief that a $1000+ lens would largely be wasted on me. Seeing what you were able to get out of this lens more or less confirms this. If I can't take great photos with this lens it'll purely be down to skill and that's something I can work on. I can't wait to try it out!

Thank you for the kind words. This is exactly why I don't buy the expensive GM lenses - I think I can get most of regular lenses(eg. like Samyang or Sony 35 1.8FE). Those are great for polishing your skills and as I often see in other photographers(not myself tho), they get much better results with amateur/semi-pro lenses than some random dudes that flash their GMs on every intstagram reel.
