    Thanks for information, my quarry is how to use perlite in soil and where to use?
    How much to add in this soil mix?

    • @organicgardening
      @organicgardening  3 года назад

      Dear ma'am,
      Thank you for your kind query.
      Ma'am, perlite is made up with volcanic glass in high temperature.
      It light in weight and highly used for retaining moisture in soil mix.
      So if our area soil is sandy and dry quick then it can help. Also for indoor planting if we use it then we do not need to water frequently.
      Using quantity may depends on the soil condition. Like if we are using it then 20℅ to 30℅ of total soil mix is good enough. And we can adjust if more required.
      Thank you

      Sir,

      Best mix -
      50℅ kaali mitti + 50℅ fine sand.
      Planting ke samay compost mix kar sakte hai.

    I have seen in many videos that they add compost on the top soil every month in order to provide nutrients while at the time of plantation compost is added already. Is it OK? Some people also add banana peel liquid, tea leaves powder and rice water. I am confused because too much nutrients may damage the plant.
    If possible please make a video on this

      Dear Kehkashan Nazeer,
      Thank you for your kind query.
      These all are beneficial for plants and having different nutrients.
      Please do not confuse and try to understand their nutritional availability and use occasionally.
      Adding compost in top layer of soil help to improve humus in soil and make it more beneficial for plants.
      We will try to make video on this topic.

    Sir can we use beach sand. I have red soil available in my area, so what will be the composition of soil, cocopeat and sand. How often should we add compost to the top layer. Thank you

    • @organicgardening
      @organicgardening  Год назад +3

      We can use beach sand but need to wash it properly with warm water.
      It will help to reduce salt content from it.
      If there is red clay soil then no need to add coco peat just add sand and compost equally.
