Jeff Gordon wins at Phoenix (2011)

Jeff Gordon led the most laps, ran down Kyle Busch in the closing laps, and passed him to win the race and end his 66-race winless streak. It's his 83rd career Sprint Cup Series victory.

I'm glad Jeff was as far ahead as he was because we all know if Howdy Doody was within striking distance he would've wrecked the 24, he was still a car or two from his weekly quota. But still congrats to Gordon fans, you deserved this win :)

Does anybody like me see this as a different kind of victory? Even in 2007 they were all nail-biters (except Dega that was masterful) in which Gordon would be out front coz of pits and just had to hold someone off. On this race...he hunted Kyle...I've been watching NASCAR since 2005 and have never seen a Gordon race like this...
