      It's amazing to see these again with how skilled the NHL has become. It really highlights just how good Datsyuk was even compared to the young puck wizards that have entered the league recently. I'd love to see more player highlights from previous NHL generations.

    that move he did against the sharks that led two teammates to collide is the silkiest move ever, everything about that is so graceful, was he millisecond late on that play he would get crushed. not only he avoids Grier as smooth as possible but also taps the puck to get a separation to pick up the speed, all the while leaves shark mess behind him. all in mere seconds

    I was at the game against Calgary where he assisted on Zetterberg's game tying goal with 3 seconds to play. Lidstrom ended up getting wide open in the slot and buried a backhander around a swimming Kiprusoff to win that game 5-4 in OT. To this day it's my favorite game I've ever attended, and that includes some playoff games as well. Thank you for including that one in this highlight reel.

    • @derfman1792
      @derfman1792 13 дней назад

      "Forget Gretzky" is such a dumb thing to say when giving props to Datsyuk. It's clear you're a child who hasn't learned that you can't compare what Richard and Howe did in the 40's and 50's to what Orr and Lafleur did in the 60's and 70's, to what Gretzky and Lemieux did in the 80's and 90's, to what Datsyuk Crosby and Ovi did in the 2000's-2010's, and to what McDavid's been doing the last 5 - 6 years. And if you want to talk about creativity... Nobody since Gretzky has been able to consistently make passes off the side of the net to someone in the slot resulting into goals. Not even Lemieux, Jagr, Crosby, Datsyuk, or McDavid has done this. So, calm your prepubescent tits down and learn to appreciate greatness, regardless of the era... You'll be a better hockey fan for it.

    многие поколения будут смотреть -это видео.. от того что - это великолепно - да в то время да - это сейчас уже по другому- но это не зачеркнуто нашим внимаем - мы те кто это видели в живую.. мы те кто создаем историю, мы те кто хотим продолжения!

    How he failed to score 1000 points in the NHL is beyond me. Clearly the most talented player of his (or maybe any) generation. He made the best players in the world look they'd swallowed handfuls of valium. Every time he played. Not once in a while. Truly the Magic Man.

    I bet that every team who drafted and overlooked him in the draft that year regrets that big time not only the best stick handler ever his hockey IQ is in another stratosphere then we get down to his puck stealing (takeaway) skills,my favorite player ever and of course he was first year entry to hall of fame...big love datsyuk from London England 🥅🏒
