I completely redesigned the hot end on my JGAurora A5 and used dovetails for things like the direct drive extruder mount and fan duct. It's so great being able to replace a fan duct in less than 10 seconds and so easily.

You can eliminate the gap on the other side too while still allowing it to slide easily by adding that 0.1mm offset extrusion on the bottom piece at the back side.

That is true, by doing that it will be an even better fit.

    really nice!
and can you explain why sharp corner is bad for engineer stand point? or just shard because bad in aesthetic reason or ergonomic?

A printer can't print perfectly sharp corners, so if you print the sharp point or corner, it will have a (theoretical) radius of 0.4mm if you use a standard nozzle size.
Because of that the parts will collide and probably not fit without post processing.

@qwertyboguss said it, and plus you can poke your self with sharp corner, look at things in the world it has round corner and no sharp edge. Except in some scenarios. Over all it's just better to round out the corners and edges, it has a smoother finished.

it’s called a tongue and groove joint

Nope, dovetail. A tongue in groove can just click in across the long side. Dovetail has to slide in from either end.
