I didn’t expect this | Ford Mustang Bullitt Depreciation and Buying Guide

- Опубликовано: 12 авг 2024
- Buying a Ford Mustang Bullitt? Then this is the video to watch. In this depreciation and buying guide of the Mustang Bullitt, I will show you how much the values changed in the last six months and how much the car depreciates per 1000 miles. Moreover, I will show you how these numbers compare to other cars.
You can contact me at fourwheeltrader@gmail.com if you would like a personalized analysis.
The Ford Mustang is a mass produced vehicle and, consequently, the depreciation looks similar to any other mass produced car. Yet, there might be exceptions to this like the Mustang GT350R, GT500, and perhaps even the Bullitt. The Bullitt has a ton of heritage as it is a limited edition based on the famous movie. However, it is not a limited production run car. In this video I will show you what it means for the depreciation rate of a Ford Mustang Bullitt.
We start with an investigation of the current market. After this, I will show you how much the prices changed in the last six months. As it turns out, prices went up. But there is more going on as also the price variation decreased. Moreover, as you will see in the video, not every market segment went up with the same amount. We will then continue to figure out how the depreciation per 100 miles changed and what the price drivers are . Color, for example, is of little importance for the price.

So happy with my Bullitt, it is a special car and everyone who owns one swears by it. :)
I own a Bullitt Mustang , Why ! It’s cool, it’s a lot of car for little money, looks good in highland green, servicing is cheap, it’s reliable
It’s quick and it works ,it’s a Ford, it may not be a super car because it’s a Muscle Car and you can’t beat the sound of a V8
Couple reason I bought a used black 2019 Bullitt with 4,000 miles few weeks ago. I have been driving Mustangs since age 18 - I’m 50 now. The Bullitt has all the go fast goodies but I love when I get on the highway with my wife along I can switch the exhaust to quiet. Just love the adjustability of this car.
It just looks so sleek and upscale with no badges other than the trunk. This Mustang is a keeper!
Im with you. 50, and I’ve had 4 mustangs since I was 19. I purchased a 2020 Bullitt this year with 8k miles and by far the best mustang I’ve owned.
I bought a new 2020 bullitt and it was worth every penny. I could care less about the future price.
You mean you COULDN'T care less.
2020 Bullitt? I thought the model year was only 2019 and it being released in 2018
@@eclpsecomics 2020 was the last year of Bullitt.
Agree! Great car!
@@grossgo thank you
The entire used sports car market is fucked. Everything has skyrocketed.
Thanks for another well detailed analyses. Would be interested in price develpment of the gen 1 Aston Martin Vanquish (aka V12 Vanquish) in UK/Europe. Specifically the non S (2001-2004). Any impact of the Callum 25 on the market price? I suspect that US prices distort the global prices. In US all cars are relatively super cheap.
Very good! Thank you!
Thanks as always. Another shout out for a 986 Boxster analysis.
The Boxster 986 is not forgotten ;)
Please do a review on the 2021 MACH 1, and is there a 2022 MACH 1 coming out soon if at all?
This is Americas icon is priceless and a rare future classic muscle car will be worth a fortune soon the last of the petrol v8ts and the last example to only come with a dying manual transmission only in this model and this is what makes this car as rare as old school can get something that we will never see again it will end up being a show piece to remind us what it was realy like to drive a stick back in the day and what an experience it realy was. Salute to the mustang bullitt.
all Bullitt Mustangs are manual ........ not surprised they are holding their value
I bought a 2008 bullitt black with 37k on it for 14000 in may 2020. Now I see them going for like 18-20 for that mileage.
I have a 2007 Shelby G.It's super charged four point six liter engine with one thousand miles
unexpected and yes, I won't be selling mine any time soon
In Canada, things are a bit different. I have a 2008 Bullitt which had a sticker price (new) in 2008, of $40,096.00 plus $6,014.00 (15% sales tax) for a total of$46,110.40. It is currently in mint condition and has 45,000 miles (73,000 km).
My cousin bought a new 2019 Bullitt which had a sticker price of $61,500 plus $9,225 (15% sales tax) so it was $70,725.00. D you have any depreciation figures for Bullitt's in Canada?
Your cousin paid too much. I bot mine (ontario) for 52000 plus 13 % sales tax. it was in July 2020 during the pandemic. Regardless, if he loves the car and makes him happy then price is irrelevant.
Nice. I have a black 2008 bullitt #1697 with 43k on it. Love the bullitts
Please do the AMG GTS again, I’m in the market for one and wanna make sure I’m getting a good deal.
if you're looking to be treated like crap by the company, yes, Mercedes is the way to go
The problems is Malians have been heard to say, “Who was Steve McQueen and what is Bullitt?”
How about a update for this year please !
It is included in the gt500 video that i posted a few weeks ago.
@@fourwheeltrader Wow, amazing response.. Thank you
I would love to see 987 Boxster S 🙏🏻🙏🏻

@@KyleBrightman thank you!! ☺️👏🏻👍🏻
Considering I got my bullitt new for 40k this video made me rather pleased.
You can't touch one for 40 K now.
how was it so cheap?!
Owning a bullitt, I cal tell you it isn't going to hold its value for that much longer. It's a world wide car. Not something that was limited to the USDM. But it poses an interesting case as it didn't sell as well at a gt350.
There were one 1500 made in 2019. Not common. It'll hold
Lexus RCF please.
No se si con el tiempo los Bullit de color negro estarán mejor valorados que los verdes, pues se han vendido muchos menos negros que verdes.
The 2008 bullit will be worth a fortune soon the 2018 bullitt is a collectable special edition future classic it is one of the last petrol v8 last old school manual boxes in this model ever made and one day will be worth a lot of money,
*Which car would you like to see analysed next?*
Please do the AMG GTS again, I’m in the market for one.

Hey thanks! Love the videos! Keep up the great work!
Have some TRANIA😅
Without Steve McQueen it is a Secretary’s Car with a great drive train!
😮😂
Not watching the whole thing, of COURSE this fucking thing (Bullitt) was going to tank. It's not special, just bullshit badging.
