The depreciation rates came back to normal but the prices haven’t.
Crazy that the G63s are still just barely below MSRP for a 2019 with 43K miles. So they’re only down from the $100K over list days.
Always great content from week to week.
Please make more videos like this I am a big fan of this type of topics
Basically need to find a low mileage 4-5 year car if you want in.
why never a Viper video...please bro
It is on my to-do list but I don't know anything about vipers 😅
Cara should be 50 to 60 percent at 5 years
I would love to own the current generation G wagen but I do not want to eat $40-$80K of depreciation. I am not a tech bro or pro athlete. Just a car enthusiast who has never owned this type of car.
More on G wagons! Older ones too
I remember when G wagon was $50k off sticker prices and still couldn’t sell them
When was this ?
The new generation g wagon since 2019 I think looks really nice and sells a lot more than before
Historically they kept their value
I remember my friend had a 2014 g wagon back in like 2019
Had bought it 75,000 I think
Looked nice
I think this is just for 2023 it sounds like? After researching for a few months here in 2024 I feel like the G63 market has softened a little more. Maybe I’m wrong.
The data stretches till May 2024.
I don’t think so. 2024 g63 are selling for above sticker prices in dealer auctions
No mention of the actual new msrp of these cars which should be considered when taking about depreciation. You may think the G wagon has lost a lot value but it hasn’t, people are just not paying way over msrp anymore.
I consider the msrp to be of little relevance when talking about depreciation. Depreciation refers to the reduction of the car's value, whether it is above or below msrp. The depreciation is very real for everyone (most people) who paid more than msrp at the market top. Naturally, if you want to customize the numbers, you can calculate the change between the average price as shown and what you paid.
I see your point and from a purely data point of view you don’t need to know the msrp but from a buyers perspective knowing the depreciation relative to the msrp is something that I would like to know. Keep up the great work!
Can you please do Porsche Turbo update?
I did one four weeks ago; ruclips.net/video/Fom_74UsCzo/видео.html
after they went up 30k
this could probably be explained due to the recent stock market surge. are you seeing this commonality among all the other vehicles as well?
It's due to the return to normalization of production and the increase in interest rates
This has to be the most overpriced vehicle when new.
