    Nothing chuffs Americans like watching Brits begrudgingly enjoying our cars. I think it's a badge of honor to see these now being enjoyed and respected from drivers around the world. Part of it is because these cars are so affordable in America that as growing up we ALL had a friend's dad or big brother with a car like this so we have many good memories of feeling that V8 dopamine. And now we get to see you guys having those same experiences as adults and it's just so nostalgic and fun!

      Drove a V8 mustang in Chicago this year for a week, fucking loved it. 2nd hand 2017-19 models cost around 25K GBP over here. So pretty steep.

      @@foolishsuckas Those are around 25k-30k USD here. It's still a ton of car for the money. Personally I'd go with older Corvette. We can get C5 Z06 for around $20k USD or even less in good condition and reasonable miles.

    Shame these cars aren't more popular, but then again that's a positive I guess. Something a bit more left field. Modding scene for these is huge apparently and an amazing selection of mod parts available. Great video guys.

    As an American, you should visit some time. We love corners. We have corners. We can corner.

    • @rosewood1
      @rosewood1 10 месяцев назад

      Well yes there are corners like highway 101 down through Oregon but the very fact that people drive across the country to find a couple of corners on the tail of some lizard in the Appalachain mountains kind of sums it up. You could of course drive skyline or the whole Grand Ridge like Steve McQueen... But if you attempted to do so some Ranger would remove your testicles and there are lots of reasons for doing so. Like too many tourists and bears neither like being run over by a Mustang. And Rangers are very protective...

    • @hopked
      @hopked 9 месяцев назад

      @@rosewood1 WTF are you on about. You strike me as someone who has only read about the USA and never been here. We have tracks and autocross ALL OVER the place because we love driving here in the USA. Suck it up and realize that the USA is everything England should have been, and would continue to be if it werent for college educated women who are mad at their dads. XD IE women being allowed to vote is ruining america.

    Lol..we have curves & country roads. The reason they stayed with leaf springs was price, it's always been an affordable car. I also gotta say a straight axle is really fun to drive, it makes it more challenging, believe me I have a 2020 pp2 Mustang & handling is great on the curves with the Independent rear end but I still like a straight axle also. Oh also the automatic has to learn how you drive it gets better 🇺🇸

    Great review, but the leaf springs in the late Corvettes was extremely capable straight line or not. The only issue with them is that you can't swap spring rates like a coil over design and the fact that they don't perform well on uneven surfaces (potholes, etc), but on a prepped track they're great.

I wouldn’t have bought it if it was auto.🤮 As for men’s testicles reference, well yeah I’ve been around that block a few times.🤪🤣 The old gent who pissed his pants the back of the bus used the “flow” for referencing when to get off the bus. First review where I have heard the auto box lambasted. It’s as strong as an ox, more so than that Chinese made manual which has has many a complaint and even a lawsuit against Ford. However, most use the auto for drag racing, where it excels and not cornering. I love my manual and with a Steeda clutch spring fitted it is so much smoother to drive. 🇳🇿

    • @eyecontrol4900
      @eyecontrol4900 Год назад

      The issue with the MT-82 generally lies in the shift linkage (not being especially robust/rigid) and the underlying bracketing. The MT-82 has the shifter mounted directly to the chassis via the transmission tunnel. Under hard acceleration/rpm and load, the engine and transmission twist under the torque of the engine (this is normal to an extent on every car), however most manual transmissions (for high powered cars) mount the shifter and linkage directly to the transmission, not the chassis like the mustang's design. This means the transmission moves and twists, but the shifter and linkage doesn’t move with it since it’s bolted to the chassis directly.
      This leads to an inconsistent shifter feel, grinding, high rpm lockout, and all those other things you hear about in the forums. Add the scenario of driver at a drag strip trying to shift aggressively and quickly to a shifter design that doesn’t like to be hurried and you have a recipe for complaints and issues. It's a shame Ford dont put the Tremec into the standard GT's

    I’ve got to be honest I just don’t think people drive this car correctly 100% in a manual not an automatic but people don’t understand the power bands in this car is between 31/2 to 4000 rpm and lazy and Woloy isn’t the words I’d use and cornering with the new Magna ride suspension is great needs a batter review for me

      The manual is 100% the one to go for but lazy and woloy aren’t The words I’d us on this car it’s a V8 that needs to be driven hard and at High revs and that’s what makes this car exciting
