👍 already tried some of these follow along pre and post run stretches and it works incredibly well for me, don't even feel the need to foam roll afterwards. Also correct my running form which might have helped too. Keep it up

Thanks for your great content, Ash! I'm training for my first marathon in October and do your exercises after every run, but I'm a bit in doubt now. I have some injury on my right knee, think it's what they call a "runners knee". Are you advising to keep doing the excerises or maybe wait until the knee is a bit better? (so I'm not sure if stretching in this phase is beneficial or could be harmful)
Thanks for your comment Guido, I'm glad my videos have helped! Its very difficult to give a personal diagnosis without seeing your body, your running form and the way you are doing these stretches. If you are suffering from runners knee this is potentially a number of things, it could be related to your running form (heel striking contributes to knee pain), you could have weak hip stabilisers in the glutes that are referring the pain down to the knee due to the lack of stability up the chain, you could have mobility or strength issues in your lower leg muscles (shins and calf area) that are creating lack of stability at the knee, it could also be related to your running programme if you have started to increase the volume too quickly and the muscles arent able to cope with the demands of increased mileage. I do video analysis if you feel like this is something you would benefit from, you can email me ashfoster1983@gmail.com if you would like to know more about how that works!
