Hi Ash really enjoyed this warm up set me up for my long run today can i ask a quick question when you talk about hill repeats how many repeats typically should you do? Im currently training for a coastal trail event in April and need to do more hill work thanks very much👌
Hey Ash, thanks! Also I have a (not so) quick question, I am training for a marathon right now, and had to take the past week off because of a sharp pain in the medial Achilles tendon, kind of right above the ankle. I have been doing balance and strength exercises daily and it feels pretty much back to normal. I think the original cause was from increasing my training load too quickly, but maybe there are other factors. I would love to hear if you have any thoughts about this or any previous experience with this kind of injury. Thanks!
Thank you so much Douglas. I really appreciate your comment 🙏 yes absolutely classic running injury of increasing too quickly. Following a progressive plan that is specific to you from a coach would be a good idea. You are doing right getting it stronger. Maybe get it checked out if it persists 😊
Thanks for prepping me for a 5 mile effort
Any time Brian! Hope you had a good run 👍🏻😊
as I'm using your videos almost every day at the moment, you're starting to become my mentor. I love it! cheers!
Great to hear that Lili thanks. The 28 day programme in January will be perfect daily session 👍🏻😊
Thank you for this! Just ran 4 miles on a beautiful autumn day and your long stretch was a nice punctuation ❤

Slightly less frenetic than the 5 mins warm ups, will do again. Good stuff!

Thanks Tracy. Have a look at the incline on the event and break it down into how many times you need to do that on your local hill 👍🏻😊
@RunBetterwithAsh thank you for that, will do 👌
