Started a 10K running plan today. First run was a basic nonstop run for 35 minutes. Gonna be 20 minute run, 3 minute walk, then another 20 minute run next time. Nervous and excited to see what my body can do! Thanks for another day of warm up and cool down, Ash!

Oh my god, this was 10 minutes?!?! When you said that we were done, I was baffled! It felt like we were just about 3 minutes in! This is the second video of yours that I've watched, and I'm lovin' it already! It does feel so so good. I'm relatively new to running and exercising and your videos are so helpful! It really does feel like some kind of sports massage, especially when you say that we should massage our body during stretching, that massaging part feels extremely good to my body! I’ve been training every day for my first 10k in New York in November. My girlfriend is a dancer and Pilates instructor and has been stressing the importance of stretching. I found it hard to stick to a regular stretching routine until she recommended your videos to me. I started running frequently about two months ago I could barely run 2 km without pauses. Today I ran my first 5km without any pause, your stretching videos helped me to get this progress without any injuries, thank you!

At 3:47 in the video I had a revelation. I am not stretching my big toe or toe arches enough!! There was some kind of extreme sensitivity that indicated neglect. After learning from your podcast how much weight is placed on our toes during running, this makes all too much sense. I now need to add toe-stretching to the list. And still you achieved all this in 10 minutes. Thanks Ash!
Amazing insight Karen, thats what regular practice brings too so well done for being consistent and reaping the rewards of awareness! Our feet in general are hugely neglected (I have a foot massage video coming out on Wednesday) after discovering how important the feet are for my own body. This transformed my running, our feet are our foundations after all. If you build a house on dodgy foundations the walls will likely become cracked over the years of weathering!

I’m coming from a mindset of always pushing my body and mind too far and getting injured or sick from overtraining. It was only when I started doing yoga, meditation and breathing exercises that I started to shift perspective and it’s helped me be less unkind to my body over the last 13 years. It’s still a work in progress though and some days I do push too far but less so nowadays. 👍🏻😊

Thanks Ash. This has been at the top of your page for a while, despite being over a year old, so I thought I ought to give it a go. I thought it was really good. Did a bit of "shooing the chickens" afterwards, as I thought *maybe* there could have been more for the hamstrings than the down dog, but I think you got everything else into just 10 minutes really well.

Honestly today I was quite stressed. This stretch after my 10k intervals run was so regenerative! I had an essay to submit for a masters and an intense board meeting. Your video helped me reset and get energy back for all of it, whilst helping with my glute pain. Your videos are life saving!

I have been running for many years and have just begun training for my first marathon. I am comically bad at stretching, and your videos have exponentially shifted my mindset toward something I thought I despised. I have been following at least one stretching video after every run, and my body is thanking me for it. You are awesome and I will continue to watch your videos every day leading up to my marathon!

Thanks Ash. This has been at the top of your page for a while, despite being over a year old, so I thought I ought to give it a go. I thought it was really good. Did a bit of "shooing the chickens" afterwards, as I thought *maybe* there could have been more for the hamstrings than the down dog, but I think you got everything else into just 10 minutes really well.
