    Thank you for these instructions. Parenting armor pieces in pose mode is way faster than I thought. Keep it up.

    what if we have something like .. pants? tights? that's supposed to bend along with the legs or something like that. what should we do if we don't want to join them to the body?

    Great video, thank you. I also found great the one were you rig the under armor, it was really helpful to learn how to rig large flexible pieces.

    What should I do if i have a piece of armor that spans the whole arm?

    • @colbyweaver8855
      @colbyweaver8855  2 года назад

      Parent that armor piece to the armature with automatic weights. It should bend properly, however you might get some clipping problems. If so, you could try scaling the armor piece up a tad bit or tweaking the mesh in edit mode. You could also adjust the weight painting a bit if those two options don't fix it. Hope this helps

    But how to reset bones without making it go back to center world

    • @colbyweaver8855
      @colbyweaver8855  2 года назад

      I'm not sure, exactly. You'd probably have to move the entire character back to their previous position since the original position is at the world center. Hope this helps:)

    Very helpful video. But is there a trick to wrap the armor perfectly around the basemesh so that nothing glitches through the armor or mesh?

    • @colbyweaver8855
      @colbyweaver8855  Год назад

      You can try parenting the armor pieces to your armature with automatic weights. This will make it so that the armature will control the armor pieces and armor together.
