For those who are looking for a simple way to make the cup sizes bigger, I added 11 rows (I'm a C cup, so I suggest adding between 8 and 15 rows depending on how long you want the top to be) of double crochet stitches after crocheting the bottom part (like the "zigzag" part) instead of the 3 she suggested and I found it hugs my chest much better and covers the whole area and I didn't need to increase stitches during the triangle part (which might make the whole design funny if not done correctly)

absolute beginner here, started crocheting about a week ago. this is my first “big” project. very excited !!!
update: i made one, making my second one now. for those wondering: i used size 4 100% cotton yarn, a size 4 hook, i used about 125 grams of yarn, and it took me a total of 13 hours ((it will probably be much quicker if you arent a beginner))
i also made the cups bigger by instead of doing decreases, doing 1 decrease and then 2 double crochet, 1 decrease again, and 2 double crochet, and so forth. i stopped when i had 3 stitches left and made the straps.

YESAP basically when you’re working your way up the cup, you want to do decreasing rows of double crochet until there is only three loops left to stitch into- and then you want to chain three, and in those three loops, you just do one double crochet into each, chain three again and turn your work, and do another double crochet into each of the three loops and as you keep going it should create a strap that is three double crochets wide!! i hope this helps

To make these cups larger you need to crochet wider cups in general and either increase in the middle while still decreasing on the ends to create the triangle OR opt not to decrease the ends and shift the decrease to the middle. You basically need to form a little cup for the bulk of the tissue to rest in.
I really like this pattern tho except for the fact that the cup would only cover my nipple lol

when you have 1 row, chain 1 then start sc on the 3rd loop including the 1 chain then at the end of the row include the last sc to make it 16sc. hope it helps.

I came to watch you do that part and of course you didn’t 😂. Even just to see what your straps looked like when done. Help please 11:18

When you stop the rows in video the decrease you stopped at 3 stitches towards the end to start decreasing. For the next row do I add one or keep to 3? Becuase it was 2 before the 3 stitches (sorry if this doesn’t make sense) do I start decreasing at 4, then 5? Or keep to only 3?
