@@naturallyyannah7640 for the strap when there were 3 stitches left I stopped decreasing and started making 3 double crochets in each row until it was long enough to reach over my shoulder to the back strap, then i just used slip stitches to attach it to the back strap :)

I don't have crochet hook... But I wanted to do something! So, here I am, trying to make this top using rainbow loom tool 🤪 And this is the first time I'm crocheting 😂 wish me luck 🤭
@Abinaya R rainbow loom hook might make your hand hurt, and it easily slips out of the yarn. But I guess it is an alright substitue. Good luck! (Although I’m late)
that used to be my only hook too! you can find cheap ones on ebay and amazon :))) you mostly only need 4mm as that’s the hook that corresponds with average weighted wool x
For those who are looking for a simple way to make the cup sizes bigger, I added 11 rows (I'm a C cup, so I suggest adding between 8 and 15 rows depending on how long you want the top to be) of double crochet stitches after crocheting the bottom part (like the "zigzag" part) instead of the 3 she suggested and I found it hugs my chest much better and covers the whole area and I didn't need to increase stitches during the triangle part (which might make the whole design funny if not done correctly)
@@sophiachickering3040 right after the bottom part (you know the zigzag of single crochet stitches), in the video it's at 2:41 ...sorry if anything is grammatically wrong or is not clear enough, English is not my first language 🙈

@@johanna-7817 You know I'm not quite sure but I worked on it off and on for a day. If I had the time to sit down start to finish it wouldn't take too long. Was very simple and quick.

YESAP basically when you’re working your way up the cup, you want to do decreasing rows of double crochet until there is only three loops left to stitch into- and then you want to chain three, and in those three loops, you just do one double crochet into each, chain three again and turn your work, and do another double crochet into each of the three loops and as you keep going it should create a strap that is three double crochets wide!! i hope this helps
To make these cups larger you need to crochet wider cups in general and either increase in the middle while still decreasing on the ends to create the triangle OR opt not to decrease the ends and shift the decrease to the middle. You basically need to form a little cup for the bulk of the tissue to rest in. I really like this pattern tho except for the fact that the cup would only cover my nipple lol
if that's the case, try making a single crochet rectangle and then sew the ends together, add straps. this way it's a halter top but... still sleeveless right?
Fun little tip: Before attaching both of the straps to the back, you can do a round of single crochets all round and only have to attach the yarn once instead of multiple times for each section ❤️
