100% cotton will help with pilling! There is also low pilling acrylic yarn if that’s what you prefer. I find cotton yarn slows me down quite a bit because it gets stuck on my hook but it’s not fuzzy at all!

hey guys i hate to break the posetive chain that we have going on here. Are you yarning under (yarn over hook from front to back) instead of the usual yarn over (from back to front) to make a tighter stitch like with amigurumi, or do you always crochet this way?
either make more than 15 on both sides and sew the sides together at the end, or start on one side, chain as many as you need to go around your body, then connect that to the other cup. From there you can work in circles.
@@damarisjackie7234 you need to chain one at the end of each round and then go into the stitch that is closest to the hook. It helps if you count your stitches, that way you will notice if you've skipped one.

im making it in a bigger size but thats not the problem, my problem is that when im crocheting i have so many holes in my cup and i don't like that, the thing is my hook is 5mm and my yarn saying i need a 5,5mm hook, can that be the problem? because honestly i don't get it, and im using cotton yarn
Try tightening the yarn on your hook a bit when your crocheting, I had the same problem, you might just be that you are holding the yarn loose, if you are a beginner you might just need to get used to it, I had the same problem when I started crocheting, the hook shouldn't be the problem, because I never use the right sized hook lol, you could also try a 4.5 mm hook and see if that changes it, and/ or keep sizing down on hooks until it doesn't leave holes, and then start, hope this helps ❤❤

either make more than 15 on both sides and sew the sides together at the end, or start on one side, chain as many as you need to go around your body, then connect that to the other cup. From there you can work in circles.
@@damarisjackie7234 you need to chain one at the end of each round and then go into the stitch that is closest to the hook. It helps if you count your stitches, that way you will notice if you've skipped one.
So when I finish one cup do I cut the yarn and start the other? Please someone answer fast I wanna finish today!!
Yeah
Sorry I didn't see this sooner
Ok so i am back 12 hours later (Ps I kinda just got into crocheting so im still really slow) and I honestly think I did an ok job. The cups are a little bit different in size (oops) but I think the rest is good. I tried doing this before and this was the first video I didn’t COMPLETELY fail at so thank you😅
How do you make sure the straps stay in the holes?? I'm making it for someone, what would they do if the straps came loose
Tell them to tie the straps before washing. That would help w that. Also, they may have to put it on backwards so to speak then slide it around? Not really sure?!
@@patticakesintexas good idea with the washing thanks!
Modified the pattern to make a dress, I love it!
Thats what I want to do, I want to make a maxi dress. How did you do it ?
@@kimberlymulivrana3617 i assume you would find a pattern for a skirt (there are so manyy pretty ones, especially in nice colours ) and attach the base of this to the top of the skirt
I didn’t crochet in years but thx to you I made this in one day
IM SOOO EXCITED TO SO MANY OF YOUR TUTORIALS
So I only have 8mm yarn and crochet hook, can that work with this project as well?
Thank you so much for sharing!please am I supposed to cut the loose thread and the end of the crotchet or I should add it to something else..sorry I dont understand how I amupposed to detach the remaining thread when I am done
loved your video! but how do I make it so both sides of the top look the same size?
im making it in a bigger size but thats not the problem, my problem is that when im crocheting i have so many holes in my cup and i don't like that, the thing is my hook is 5mm and my yarn saying i need a 5,5mm hook, can that be the problem? because honestly i don't get it, and im using cotton yarn
