Just finished this project yesterday and I love it! Very easy to follow tutorial and it took me about two days to do, and just under one skein of Lily Sugar and Cream variegated cotton yarn. I did shorten the back ties to 80 chains each and I made the shoulder ties one shorter, continuous piece that is attached to both sides instead of two long ties.
I had so much fun making this tank top, thank you!

Am I the only one here that hear chain 200 at the top of the cup but when she was finished with the cup it look nothing like 200?
yea I'm on 100 chain and its already huge.
I did 150 to make sure bcz 100 was getting biiig
Also the back strap. She states a chain of 250 but it looks like very short, like the 200 fr the shoulder strap. I decided to make one long chain and lace it like a shoe through the back pieces.
It could depend on the size of the yarn you're using. Am using a small sized yarn and 200 is nothing.. considering making a knot around the neck when worn .

Just finished it, I love the look but unfortunately it’s too large on my waist line, even if I tie it as tight as I can. Would recommend to make the sides shorter if you’re smaller than a medium in tops. Really bummed because I spent hours across multiple days on this bralette.

I’d say it’s a size M-XL. It’s adjustable but was too wide on the waist for me & I’m a size S but with larger bust so maybe that’s why.
What brand of yarn did you use? And how many schemes?

Hello! I've gotten myself into a bit of a pickle, I made up the first cup before learning exactly how I should measure it and it's not for me so I'm just wondering if you can do the quick math for me because math, in terms of crocheting, is not yet one of my fortes. The cup I want to make is for a bra size for my daughter who wears either a 32 DDD Or 34 DD, Right now I have a cup that measures 10 1/2 inches across the bottom and 10 inches bottom straight edge to triangle tip. I can't really use myself to compare or try to see if it will fit her because 24 and 47 years old chests just aren't exactly the same, were very close, but my body is not like hers anymore!
I tried looking up 3 tutorials but they were all using different patterns than yours and even themselves so I hope you will be able to help me, thank you SO much in advance for this tutorial and your time!

Is it normal to have a small hole at the top of every row of the cup where I am doing the 2dc, ch1,2dc?
In my limited experience with crochet I would say yes. But I could be wrong. Mine did have little holes tho.

Because when you come back doing the next raw with double crochet, you loose 2 chains by doing a double crochet in the 4th chain from the hook. I made it with equal quantity of chains from both sides first and then I noticed that one side was shorter. So i had to redo...

It’s completely customizable. When you are making the cups just keep adding rows until it fits your breasts.
Just keep in mind the larger you make the cups the larger the waist will be… I made the mistake of not shortening the waist and now it’s way too big

why are u making the straps so long?
I have a question, if I want the spaces to be smaller do you just chain fewer stitches
teresa sundquist if you want the crochet to be tighter use a smaller hook, if you use less chains it would make it too small and it wouldn’t fit you.
u can also do a single crochet instead of double

3mm? Mm doesn’t change based on what country you live in. Just the terms and abbreviations.
@@vpboo2060 the millimeter in hook sizes in the u.k are different from the hook sizes in u.s .

SO i was confused as well, I think she's saying you do it normally through the second to last stitch,
THEN on the last stitch, DC 2 into that, CH 1, THEN DC 2 into the Same stitch.

I have to second this. It will improve your videos which are already quite good. It's just that we can hear the saliva in your mouth when it's that close. The general rule of thumb is about 4 fingers distance.
