    For any kids making this tank top: dont make 180 rounds like it says, instead every 10 rows put it around your waist to check if the size fits snuggly around your waist! Hope this helps!
    Edit: thank you so much for all the replies, but now I know she said 118 rows thank you for telling me!

    As many others here, I did this top as my first ever crochet project. Even if I messed up a little bit the sewing part it turned out very nicely and I love it.
    I used a wool size 3 and a 5 mm hook as recommended but I think a 4mm would turn out better as my stitches are a bit see-through.I will definitely try again this pattern in a different color ♥

    • @paint9656
      @paint9656 Год назад

      It happens to me too but it's completely fine, what matters is that you worked hard to make it, and you can always make another one and this time you will know your mistakes and the next top you'll make will be your size, btw this is also the first top i'm making, i'm currently finishing it right now

    • @jessicawhy
      @jessicawhy 5 месяцев назад +1

      @@shrestha1598 unfortunately i had to unravel most of the body & it ended up being a lot of trial & error, but it worked out!
      my measurements were XS+ top waist & XS bust, so i went with XS. first, i tried the body on & counted approximately how many HDC i had to remove from the final row for the body to fit. then, i unravelled rows 6 to the final row (based on how the top currently fit). finally, when i started over, i gradually crocheted fewer HDC every few rows in order to reach my desired number of HDC in the final row. so, for row 1 i had 106 st (ch 1, 1 HDC in first row, HDC in each row across, & 1 HDC in last row), rows 2-5 106 HDC, rows 6-12 104 HDC, rows 13 & 14 102 HDC, & rows 15-17 100 HDC.
      good luck if you decide to try a similar strategy!

    I made this! This was my first ever crochet project and it looks so cute on (although not quite like hers oops hehe 🙈). I sized down as she recommended for a tighter fit but it turned out that was too small and I ended up improvising and sewing in an extra panel. I wasn’t sure how much wool I needed from the pattern (but I used 3 balls of yarn to make one of the smallest sizes, with enough leftover to make a matching scrunchie hopefully! ☺️). Such a fun project and I’m dreaming of making a matching midi skirt too!

    Day 6: So reached 19 cm after 2 days of doing nothing but my chains were less than on my first line with chains. So I have 46 chains on the first one and I got to 40 at line 30. So I started again from line 27 where I have 44 chains and now I restart from line 27. So I only have 16 cm now AHHH

      If you're referring to the size variations, the numbers are your new numbers adjusted for size. So if she says 21 for the base chain for size S, it might be 30 for medium (for example) and its the same for the rest of the numbers.

    This is the perfect little sun top. Your design is beautiful and your video really does me help me as a a beginner to crochet. I shall download the link to your Etsy shop. I honestly think when I get the chance of making this garment I will enjoy it so much. I am moving house soon, maybe I shall get chance to pick it up and start again when I have a spare hour and have it ready for the warmer days here in the UK. Thank you so much for the video link to the pattern, I would not have the courage to crochet it otherwise. Best wishes xxxx

    Hi! I was wondering if the top would still work if after the bottom portion of ribbing, i sew it together and make the top half working in the round?

    Hi, I just finished the body ribbing. But I'm confused with the first row of the body, i just can't find the right place to put the HDC🥹 Somehow the stitch is different with yours.
