You got quite unlucky with that project, but it's slowly getting together. At least it will run on the original block and head, but with the internals from the other block. Keep it up!

Loving the updates. Next time you do valve retainers you can use very small amounts of lithium grease on the groves and on your screw driver to make them sticky. The its much easier to install. It wont do anything to the engine and is very safe to do

Superb video! At the first glance, one could think you have a backyard 'messing around' garage. But don't be mistaken, some real hard work and good deep knowledge is present here! Would be interesting to see that this car is going to run on the original block after all.

Bro remember to change the oil cooler (new unit) no matter what you did. The new oil cooler on this thing is a must have in the rebuild process. Oil lines also clean or replace. If you not do this after 5k km engine will be dead.

@@EMSGARAGEE61 You can do as you wis, you've invested a huge amount of time and money into this car, it would be a shame if the engine seized for that reason. There's a guy on Polish RUclips called Autobahus who rebuilt such an engine twice due to a cooler issue. This model is known to have problems with metal shavings in the oil system...
