One thing I love about your videos is that you "show/wear" styles on yourself, not just some picture model. Look forward to more and so happy I found your channel!
THANK YOU FOR SAYING WHAT YOU SAID ABOUT BELTS!!! For those of us who have thicker middles (i.e., no waist!), I have found THAT A BELT does NOT CREATE ONE!!! It only accentuates the fact that I do NOT HAVE ONE! It's like trying to create a waist on a barrel. I feel relieved to have heard that! Thank you!
Great tips! I'm still learning to be comfortable in a more fitted outfit. I was one of those people wearing clothes too big to conceal my tummy. However, after seeing pictures, I realized it wasn't working at all.

Absolutely love your new haircut!!! I enjoy following you and think that your advice and tips are wonderful. You look fabulous in all of your outfits thanks for sharing all of this information!!!!
I loved the off the shoulder blouse with the beautiful soft pastel colors. That was an outstanding, beautiful look on you🌞. Thank you for this video! Carole
Just came across your channel. Great suggestions. I've had surgeries in the past where abdominal muscles have been cut. My belly is never going to go completely flat. Diet helps some.
Recently I saw a stylist online demonstrate a very convincing reason to wear a belt: The belt holds the pants, skirt, dress, or top close to your belly, but then you poof the top or dress bodice an inch or two OVER the belt, and it disguises the 'spherical' nature of your belly. The issue is the belly extending out from the body. If you cover the upper curve of its extension outward, it obstructs others' eyes from recognizing how much of a paunch you might have.
Love your newly discovered show. I am 90yeats old, live in a retirement community. We go to the pool and dress for dinner. My big problem is my tummy. and I can’t loose weight, because I like to eat. 4’10 1/2”, 140 lbs!
yes, it was a game changer for me - always wore jeans with belts, then hit 50 and had to make some changes due to bloating. Took me a while to realise the main reason for feeling uncomfortable was actually the belt, not trousers! I also started wearing more dresses - love accessorizing with belts there, so glad you mentioned it! New subscriber here!
Thank you for a brilliant video. I live in southern Spain where it’s humid too… so totally understand the humidity thing. The kimmo idea is excellent.. just ordered one! 🙏🏻
Good tips! Also, I find when having to wear a big top to fit the bust and belly, that it’s helpful to pull in the lower edge with a clip or matching hair tie so it doesn’t look like a big box.
Great suggestions Serena. The belt is really one of those problems. I think as long as us ladies are put together nicely we always looks better. I’ve a little bit of a tummy but not bad for having two children & losing weight off & on. Ladies let’s just wear what we like & keep everything groomed up. Thanks for sharing girl. 🦋🦋🦋
Hi Serena, I love these tips! I really needed to hear them. I agree about the belts. I don’t wear them. I also don’t care for button fly jeans either. Your necklace is so pretty with that black top. I never thought about monochromatic hiding the belly. By the way, I love that super organized clothing rack to the side. It looks great! I always enjoy watching your channel because you show things that I love wearing. Keep those great videos coming!
Hi great suggestions. During summer wear while like you suggested and Soft pastels Keep black at night wear. Not during day during summer. Light blue pink pastels
I really appreciate these videos. They are super helpful. I remember back to when I first started following you and you gave advice on shorts by sizing up- I knew then that you were an influencer-keeper! Now in my 50’s I’m not longer doing sit ups to preserve my back. So I’m going to try these tips for sure. I love that monochromatic idea- looks so nice all the time.
Great tips Serena! Before I lost weight I was guilty of wearing long oversized tunic tops because I "thought" they made me look slimmer. Ugh, I shutter now to think about. I couldn't wait to get those out of this house lol. Have a good week!

Lots of love from Germany ❤ !! Most of your style tips I know for years .... I'm very small but have a larger tummy after my pregnancies + medication ... = no need to stop wearing in a lovely creative style - even in the age of 63 !!!! 😉😎
All great tips - what do you suggest for a muffin top. The area between my bust and waist is my biggest (plus I'm short waisted) and I am finding it so hard to hide while I wait for the weight to come off. I was trying to think of an area to highlight - but can't think of anything!!

That's great! Welcome!
That white blouse & white pants was excellent. You literally looked 20 lbs smaller vs the other outfits.
Cute hair cut.
Wow, the white outfit was more slimming than the black. Never would have thought that. I always go to black!😊

I have the same issue with belts. I hate it when the belt buckle makes your stomach look even larger. Good tips Serena.
