The tone during the intro to belief just gets better with every tour since 2007!
Couldn't agree with you more .......... 🎸
I don’t think the belief Crossroads version can be beaten on the BLK1. “Every note I coming out of my guitar is dedicated to BB king”
@@guitarbygus I do miss the blk1. Has a very distinct tone when he uses it on the rare occasion now. Be amazing if it was used exclusively for gravity.
I’m going to respectfully agree with the intro getting a little better, but peak end of Belief seems to be from the Where the Light is Performance. Steve Jordan didn’t even get his chance to shine here :(
@@proskater523 respectfully I think Steve Jordan didn't get to shine because he's not the one playing 😅
A true master of his craft! This is what it looks like to be in the zone, every guitarist knows what it’s like to “black out” and have those notes project themselves on to the fret board and John does it so effortlessly and not a note is wasted. That belief outro!
John Mayer will go down in history as one of the greatest musicians of all time. He can do everything effortlessly and loves every minute of performing perfectly.
Man, that outro solo of belief is the reason I’ve been a John mayer fan since 2001…this guy is the real deal…
Can’t tell you how many times I’ve watched that Belief outro. Thank you so much for uploading!!

Daaaamn. When this guy starts improvizing, what a tasteful solo. A very talented artist.
Isaiah Sharkey!
Ha...loved the part in Queen where Isaiah started playing his solo and John just looked over and smiled...because Isaiah is the man. Two guitar greats on that stage.
i was there!! such an amazing concert experience, it was my first time seeing John and my expectations were super high, and yet they were still blown away. hope to see him again
I was fortunate enough to see him live in 2019, and any expectations I had were completely blown to pieces. It was one of the best concert experiences of my life.
I said the same thing in Albany! Just phenomenal!
I was there last night. Thanks for filming this so I can relive the evening!
Same!
Same

What an enormous talent! I was fortunate enough to see him live on the Continuum tour in 2007 and it was incredible
Tambourine guy is having the time of his life
This band looks like they're loving every second on stage. I love it.
Tambourine guy is high AF.
lenny castro
Love seeing Pino playing with John again
Continuum album is just so special!
My cousin and I were here! I sent her this video and she goes “Jim Powers for President”. Jim Powers for President. Thank you!!!
I spent last night crying because I wast there. Thanks for posting. ✌️❤️
When he started playing belief i was in disbelief. Did anyone else hear Eric Johnson in that intro? Looks like John is re-inventing his style.
I hear it. I'd say it's the wide intervals, along with the major 7th and 9th.
@@richarddoan9172 how do u learn this theory if i may know?
@@natanaelabraham7156 what he said is just intervals. The distance between two notes starting from the lower one. For example in a Major chord you have the root which is usually the bass note, then the major third(with the third we determine if a chord is major or minor, if it was a minor third it would have been a minor chord). And finally the perfect fifth. So root, third, fifth. This is the beginning. Then you you can add a flat 7 to make it dominant seventh chord. I am not a professional but I learned this stuff and it isn't hard just takes time to figure it out. You can start on your guitar or whatever you play see on google some intervals to begin with. Btw a major chord or minor is only with 3 notes. But we play more strings on the guitar because some notes repeat. And you can play them in different ways. Maybe start with the third instead of the root. Good luck.
@@fatkitty4207 i'm really shocked to hear your answer, cuz i'm beginner guitar player. still strugggle to learn about relation between minor and major. Anyway thank you for your comment. it really motivates me to learn more
it reminded me of Shine On You Crazy Diamond
john and zac brown band are always shows i know will change a bit everytime, the solos, interludes, i love it, keeps it super interesting
This version of Queen of California was the best I’d ever heard when I went to this show. I loved every minute of this show. Thanks for uploading!
definitely influenced by what he's doing in dead & co
@@dbasstij512 it’s cool to hear the influence!
When I went we found an open door around the back of the arena and they were scanning tickets to cold audience members to chill in a little bar area before the show while the rest were all lined outside the arena. I heard the sound check and at first not realizing I thought they just had queen of California playing through speakers cause he sounded so good it sounded like the album. I then heard johns voice talking and asked a staff member and she said it was coming from in the arena and said they were sound checking and I was just blown away. For like the next half hour before the doors open we got to hear John sound check edge of desire, queen of California, and dear Marie. The most amazing thing for my first time ever seeing him live when I was told that was him singing in the arena my stomach just dropped like a rock i got so excited. As if I wasn’t already excited to see him
Thanks for posting. Cant wait till they hit Europe 😏
Happy to hear he is recovering his voice in queen of California !!
I was there 214 row 5. 19 years between shows for me. Well worth the wait!
What I would give to see this show again🤟

Excellent recording!
The percussionist is mind blowing…..
It's Lenny Castro from TOTO!!
Overall the band sounds much better at this show then they did in the LA and NYC shows. John singing is better here
Going tomorrow night. I can't wait!!!!
thanks so much for posting - i wanted to check in to see how he was sounding. so glad to hear john and the band doing great!
Is this the guy from the Grateful Dead? Sounds pretty good
:-)
No, no. This is John Mayer.
@@InTheBuff716 I did for research and it is that guy from Grateful Dead
Jesus. 🤦🏼♂️ Dude. John Mayer has been a singer/songwriter for like 25 years. He has multiple albums, features and several Grammy awards, from his own music. He joined Bob Weir and formed Dead & Company. (was the 3rd person to do this with Weir). It's John Mayer. Not "the guy from the greatful dead".
@@InTheBuff716 with all due respect, this is that guy from the Grateful dead.. he looks a lot younger these days but yep that's the guy for sure.
Love seeing the Two-Rocks are back!
great video man
Beautiful 🙂
This guy very amazing meeeen
I wish l was there, love you johny
Vocally, he sounds great!
#Total Class Act , as always. 🎸 👏
Bring back the John Mayer trio, the level of effort is nothing compared to what he used to be like..where’s the light is love in LA go compare 🧨
Incrível John 🌟❤👏👏👏Amo
Mayer now looks like Clapton 9:20
@@midpupposIII ...as well as 80s Dead
The King for ever !!!!
"Have my babies John" "I don't think that's possible" "Not with that attitude, it's 2022 anything is possible"
Is that Pino playing bass?
queen got a bigger pop than expected
What a great camera
i was there!
Eric Clapton - Journeyman... anyone?
6:15 where he messes up and waits for the next few bars just goes to show he is also human
Eric Clapton vibes man!!!
He's using his Two Rock, the Dumble and a Fender head - 3x the goodness!
John must have had fun with these first shows after the pandemic
4:13 taking notes from Eric Johnson I see
Pino on bass?
Happy belated Presidents Day
Lenny Castro is having way too much fun!
@jim powers do you have carry me away video?
LENNY CASTRO ON PERCUSSION FOLKS
I was supposed to see this this weekend but then they switched dates and I cant go :/
Sharkey is a talented guitarist 🤙🏽
I see John wearing a Mona Lisa tShirt. Wondering if that's a nod to Guthrie Govan, who notoriously wore a similar shirt all the time. Guitar nerds know what I'm talking about....
Miranda Kerr, is Jessica Alba working out? I like her tons, hope u all get along too
💎
Quality
Puttin I wish he can listen this song !
Does anyone what the guitar he is playing in Queen?
Martin 00-45SC
@@StratOnFire Thank you!
Name of that acoustic guitar??
Martin 00-45SC John Mayer sig. But I think that's a prototype (no pickguard)
How's the married life cousin Paris and Nikki Hilton, u doing good?
15:47 Sameeeee
That’s a smooth cat right there. 🎸🔥🔪
John doesn’t cheap out for the music (like a ginger we all know 😂)
3:43
15:46 Grab my babies John! Hahahaha
Literally read this comment as the guy said it hahahaha
G.E. Mayer
Who
s playing drums ???
Good question. It’s not his regular guy.
Ferrone tested positive for Covid so he had a couple subs. It was questlove in NYC. Don’t know who that is.
This is Steve Ferrone. One of the greats! He’s played on hundreds of albums, and was Tom Petty’s drummer for many years.
@@alexleedrums311 Oh right, good point. I misread an article. I also semi-expected to see Aaron Sterling since he's been a fixture for so many years. Thanks for the clarification.
I'm stressed out with all the messing around with their IEMs the background singers were doing.
terry crews on the choir
King Kylie Jenner, we need to talk, lol. We're fine I'm sure. U should never forget Kylie, I want to be ur friend, at a minimum.
Dude,…thanks for the video and all but 20 minutes and not even ONE shot of the DRUMMER??? Yikes bro…..
That bass player is somebody’s dad who “plays bass”
That's fucking Pino Palladino
So as his son, who also plays bass, checkout yussef dayes trio
#haircut
18:09 Why don't you film anymore John?
Terrible videography. Every time John plays a strong lead, the camera pans away! This is actually painful to watch. The person didn't know the song at all.
umhmm
I hope John's next album is a real Rock album and not Mom Rock. But I'm afraid he might have jumped the shark. At least we have all his older music.
Embrace the Mom Rock #sobrockislife
Hold that camera still, if you don't know how to adjust your phone camera then don't use it. Two minutes into the footage
and I am sick to my stomach from all the adjusting and bouncing around. That sucks! Learn how to properly film!!!
The Mona Lisa on his shirt is a loser for me and my brand family! We wish he’d do business better!
Oh shut up 🤐
What do you mean?
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Like he gives a shit. Haha
