It's quite fascinating that those hills are made up of limestone with all sorts of marine fossils within. Even in Sagada, there are limestone boulders and fossils too on the mountain tops, suggesting it was also under water at some point in the past.
Anyway, glad you got to visit one of our most popular natural attractions. :)

Come and visit siargao island, camiguin island, romblon ondingan tablas island, siquijor island, dumaguete city, kalanggaman island and gigantes island. Enjoy have fun its more fun in the Philippines.
The planting of the man-made forest started in the 50's my grand father and his brother werr forest ranger at that time. The reforestation was intended as a watershed for a power plant a few km downstream in Loboc. There's another national park to the east, the Rajah Sikatuna National Park, its protected forest landscape that cover almost all the mountain areas of the northeast of the island of Bohol. The forest east of the Chocolate Hills, the Rajah Sikatuna National Park.
nice bohol vids, if you have the time you can go to Candijay where there is a tall waterfall and on top of the waterfall is a rice terraces. While you are already there might as well :D
