    Editor's Note: My edits were all made to keep the video on one, central topic by editing together relevant commentary from many parts of Hasan's streams to create a storyline that is still followable by the viewer. I also edited in commentary of my own in places, in addition to relevant external information that improves the viewing experience. A lot of edits were made for comedy purposes, or to enhance the comedic timing of certain beats, but never to misrepresent Hasan's point of view.

    • @Dato-64
      @Dato-64 5 месяцев назад +2

      Yes, but not really. The Vision Pro is intended to work while you are stationary, like you see in the video when he tries to use it on the subway. The google glasses were meant to do what was tested in this video but didn’t have the power nor environment.
      What a lot of people here fail to see is that this video shows use cases that are not the intended use cases yet. Once they get smaller and all: totally. Not now. It’s the step in the door, not the new smartphone.
      Google glasses were criticized because of their camera. We changed a lot regarding that especially in cities like New York. People don’t hit you instantly for pointing a camera in their general direction. Also recording was one of their major features, while Apple tried to promote every other feature over filming.

Or you grab onto the window, but then you can't interact with the window so most you could do while dragging it is reading one page without scrolling or watching something. Otherwise you will have to stand still. It's not bad for chores at home or straight up watching/browsing at home.

It doesn’t teach you how to read and understand the music. Tech bros being reactionary whenever someone states a fact is so funny. The car point Hasan made has been stated by the car industry and experts as well. Some car manufacturers even stepped back from digitalization in car manufacturing because of safety concerns

    I absolutely love you are. I have a Rift S, Quest 2, and Quest 3. And I don't think the technology is at all close to getting to a point where we could actually use it in our cars. And there are subreddits that constantly tell you not to play VR in sunny weather because the lenses act like a magnifying glass and burn holes in the display.

    to be fair, people didn't hate the original earpods they hated the stupidly high price point for something that already existed and the removal of the AUX wasn't because airpods are bad it's more your typical greed.
    also a funny thing about the keyboards there's actually a big rush gaming wise right now going back to fully "analogue" keyboards running on the hall effect because they're super responsive. And as far as a the smart phone screen vs the physical buttons I think we can all agree the blackberry style phones were better to type on but the smart phone touch screen design has so many upsides all for just the loss of physical, like the size of the phone being the entire screen for watching things mobile is huge.

    it's not just bulk. Google Glass and early 2000 bluetooth headsets were both slim and portable. The reason neither popped off were because even as slim as they were, they were quite obvious and attention-grabbing accessories. The old bluetooth headsets for starters, only came as a single unit, and usually had mics jutting way up to your cheekbone. Compare that to the modern fully wireless earbud form factor popularized by airpods: yes, they're small, but they also came in pairs, any stems never stuck out further than your earlobes -- and in the case of the airpods, pretty slim anyway. Plus, all modern earbuds come with their own carrying case/charging station, so that you don't _have_ to look like a douche 100% of the time. Glass and old-school headsets, you usually wore them all throughout the day -- as long as they had battery, at least.
