There is an episode that worried me for a bit that the guy over spent on the hall but his vision was genius. They both loved old movies, swing dancing, and vintage vibes. He knocked it out of the park. Not just the dresses and venue but they had a vintage car to drive her and her dad to the church. You could tell he took it seriously and involved everyone who loved her so he didn’t eff it up.
The other one that made me smile was the guy getting her best friends to steal her away to be measured for her dress! Something not all of these dudes even think of by half 😂😂

I've seen a few of these episodes, and all of them are. One of them is literally in a pig farm, and the bridesmaids were asked to wear pig costumes

I used to work at weddings and have 2 weadings is actually normal. Some poeple even have 3.
This has usually to do when they have families in different countries. 1 wedding for each part of the family, and to make it fair they usualy get legaly merried before any of them, just bride and groom (+ small group of friends for legal poruses, they need a witness), so no one can claim that their wedding was "the real one"

WW1 is the best example of an inter-imperialist conflict. The current Russia-Ukraine war is another example of an inter-imperialist conflict between NATO and Russia.

As a brit, and as much as i hate to say it. But the show is completely fake. The producers give an option of venues and the couple has to pick which one. And the weddings arent legally binding so need to get "remarried" anyway
Idk for sure if it was the UK version (nor did I know the show continued being produced for so long), but my understanding was that people participate because they’re getting a significant amount of money to plan a wedding they otherwise often couldn’t afford, but they just specifically choose men who pitch weird ideas when applying or who will go along with some “suggestions” to make more extreme choices. So it was my understanding it was genuinely the men’s choice but just a very influenced choice. It’s possible that’s just the American version and you’re right that the UK version just faked it all entirely but idk.
People often get legally married separately from the wedding these days anyway. I’m pretty sure that it’s Married At First Sight that has couples legally marry in the American version but not in other versions. So I wonder whether that’s the same with this show’s international versions or not.

Hasan didnt really need to correct himself regarding Manchuria. I mean, I get why you did. It's good to be as accurate as possible. However, even though Nanking's (Nanjing) massacre/rape was amongst the most popular crimes and disgusting things Japan did, Manchuria's fate was not really that different. As Hasan said, Japan was an empire, exercising imperialism and we all know what that encompasses. I love so many aspects of the Japanese culture too, but lets not delude ourselves. Let's not be like the Japanese government, the history education in the country and many people in Japan who still see themselves ONLY as the victims. What the US did to Japan is abhorrent and they shouldve faced severe punishment for that, but as we all know, most people who were behind the biggest crimes (who really were in control of what was going on) did not face any punishment.
