I am not convinced that George Santos isn’t just Sacha Baron Cohen’s latest character, and he’s about to drop the funniest mocumentary of all time.
He's definitely a compulsive liar. Someone who lies not necessarily for personal benefit, but feels very frequently compelled to lie. Even about the most stupid stuff that can be easily proven as false. I had a friend like this once and it was baffling, she'd lie about the silliest stuff and it was unclear if she actually believed the lies or not.

Yep, my mom had a work friend like that, and the worst part is that she would lie to her own son. It's been years since we saw her, but recently we learned from another work friend of theirs that her son does not speak to her anymore bc of all the lies she told about his dad and life overall.
Santos is a terrible person, but I enjoyed the ride. It's also nice to see a politician being held accountable for their crimes for once.

Though I'll admit many Americans are ignorant self entitled assholes, I mean it was built off the delusional bullshit that was manifest destiny and white supremacy, so it doesn't surprise me how many people's perspective have been twisted into what they are; but at the same time many are not that way in the slightest. You literally can't know everyone so a blanket statement to that degree is just a personal bias, an understandable one but a bias nevertheless. At my last job, we had a guy exactly as described. Anything you mentioned, he apparently did it better. Said he had a $10k computer because his friends “worked at Microsoft”, said he had exotic dancer friends that would come over for private dances whenever he called, and even POINTED AT A MANSION as we were carpooling to a company event and said it was his. He even made up some intricate backstory of how he “invested” and was able to purchase it. He was a nice enough guy but his whole personality was just saying shit to one up and impress everyone. Pathological liars are creepy.

I have a friend like that. He told me he just purchased a private jet. I told him gas it up let's go for a flight. He said we can it's getting repainted.
We had a guy like that, too. And like Hasan, we made a game out of it. We once worked it up to where dude claims he ended up defending himself from a mountain lion with his bare hands. That was the end of the game. We were just looked at one another and then, literally, fell over laughing. He realized then what we had been doing and never saw dude again.

Appreciate your edits of the react part of streams! It'd be fun to show off some of the more notable/hilarious chat commentary, I often pause and step frames to catch some of them because there are some real gems.
I had a buddy in college who was very much like this and he used this tactic to pass every class he could without doing the work, it was kinda impressive to see. Like an art form actually. Exactly what Hasan is saying at like 6:28 in, we did the same thing, like, we'd make up shit and tell each other ahead of time so we could feed the narrative and see if our buddy would just continue to one-up us, and it straight up was like a one-upping disease. He did ask me to lie once to one our teachers so he could get something, like to retake a test or something and I straight up was like no, you under estimate my loyalty to our teachers lol.

Oh and he did pass that class, by studying extra hard for final rather than trying to retake that one test to pad his grade. In all fairness, I took college way too seriously but after so many years of his constant one upping and always trying to lie his way outta everything while me and my friends worked and studied do hard, it kinda flew in the face of my morals and loyalty.
