For anyone confused Hasan is basically saying Artists and celeberties real actual payoff is the exposure they get by joining these streams or shows they are on. The Celebs/ Artist's PR will actally PAY to be on their as well such as if they want to be on Jimmy Fallon or a streamer that amasses hundreds of thousands of viewers in a stream and millions that will see clips after the stream. Thats why gaming companies send early copies to big youtubers or streamers AND pay them to gain exposure of their product. Therefore leading to more sales for them and more money.

@@isabella16939 might have missed it but I heard only location. If you're conducting an interview you should at least have a basic running gun video/audio setup.. that would include a basic lighting kit. And if you have a producer, that's their job to make sure that s*** happens.

The awkwardness here kinda points towards how live streaming as a medium really is based in authenticity, or the appearance of it. The way Playboi Carti appears on stream would be fine for a media appearance on TV, highly staged, but its super awkward on stream.
And yeah, this is all marketing, and we are talking about it, but not all marketing is positive. Right now were talking about how awkward it all is, which isn't good lol.

@@austin6860 oh when people do media (jimmy fallon, SNL, radio or whatever) their PR teams pay to get the artists on there. artists don’t get paid for those types of appearances/interviews. they’ll get paid for merchandise, club appearances, festival appearances etc.
