Hasan is reacting to reality shows again. This is half as good as America's Politics the show. If it was Chuck Schumer or Ben Shapiro doing this, it would be 10/10.
This isn't too far off from being bed ridden,home bound and disabled. These experiences and emotions are very familiar.

@@evanc6746 I think your also not taking into account is that many way too young adults are pushed into marriage and then very quickly after that kids. They are trying to achieve a life goal that the American structure has dictated comes immediately after marriage when they haven’t thought if they are actually ready beyond a month of thinking. And then when they experience trouble in marriage where there are so many factors that could lead to divorce as well. But I think that having kids should be extensively talked about between spouses because you are in charge of raising a person with good morals. Kris is happy and taking care of her kid which is the better option of abandonment.
@@evanc6746 It really isn't alarming, people are just realizing they have a choice to choose their happiness. It is not selfish for a parent to think of themselves too, I feel many people and parents feel that way, which leads to unhappy marriages, in turn could damage the child more by blaming themselves for how miserable both or one parent was that whole time.
Plus the root of societies problem comes from various reasons, it is not accurate to say divorces increase them. It is more accurate to say parenting style is one the issues, along side the influence of social media.
A healthy family structure does not stem from a marriage, it stems from the relationship between the child to parent. Kris keeps this healthy bond to her kid despite her choice.
For you to falsely saying she left her child behind, and to call her an autogynephilic is plain disrespectful, all because she is not happy the way you agree with.

i know right? i was lowkey obsessed with hasan for the first 6-7 months of this year, started to feel some fatigue and drifted elsewhere, and when i was ready to watch him again the conflict in gaza started. i haven't been able to stomach alot of this particular subject matter, and hasan has been almost exclusively discussing this issue since. whenever i see something non-palestine related from hasan in my feed, i get pretty excited.
*btw i'm not upset that he's covering what's going on over there, that's what he should be doing, i just miss all the slow news days where he'd look at the newest tiktok trend, or read some unhinged twitter thread.

and burning yourself out will help NO ONE, especially since activism is not just a short term thing, you gotta stick with it for a long time so not being burnt out or fatigued is pretty important so you can keep helping others

People actually were buried alive back in the day with alarming frequency, especially during cholera epidemics, to the point that there were coffins called "safety coffins" sold with various devices in the coffin to signal that you weren't actually dead.

As for the challenge thing itself. As someone who struggles with depression and anxiety and agoraphobia. I rarely leave my room or house. Most days I barely get out of bed for how hard it is.
People could easily reply with “so just get up and leave…”
But they don’t realize the struggle it is to do that. When simply wanting to take another breath and justify your ongoing consciousness to a voice that bombards you with impossibly dark thoughts. Tries to convince you to end your life every day. Seek justifications for it.
