I’m a girl and have struggled with my weight so much and unlike Hasan, I haven’t accomplished losing it all yet. As much as he helps the bros with confidence, he’s very positive to me too✊

Losing weight is really fucking hard. That you've made any progress at all is astounding. Keep it up, you can do it!
Losing weight is the real struggle. Once you get habitual with your diet and exercise it gets easier to maintain. Just have to watch out and avoid backsliding, which for me means not buying the foods that tempt me at all.
@@megamandrn001 The part most people don't understand is that you HAVE TO EAT MAINTENANCE CALORIES. You are NOT A BODYBUILDER. Eat maintenance calories and work out. If you keep on eating the appropriate amount of calories, your body will never enter survival mode and try to save up as much fat and nutrients as possible due to fear of starvation.
Drinking a lot of water, eating a lot of fibre, etc. and working out in short bursts all helps A LOT. I lost like 20 kilos doing just that and I haven't worked out in months, can still maintain the same weight as a checkpoint if I don't eat more than 2k calories while simply sitting all day. Eating protein also burns more calories, giving up on carbs is a bad idea, balance your meals.
And don't neglect sugar intake, your body does like sugar, just don't overdo it and take caffeine for extra calories burnt. If you want a chocolate bar, eat it. You don't need to eat a full meal either, if you ate a whole cake that day.
Ice cream also doesn't have as many calories as hard sweets, so you get to eat more and enjoy more for less calories overall.
It took me years to listen to my brain and body, because the current system we live in doesn't treat us like human beings. There's always an agenda. The fact of the matter is that the incels are used as a driving force for other men to overwork themselves in order to get together with a lady, but lasses are also just people searching for the easy way to win in capitalism.
Incels and femcels aren't the disease, they are symptoms of a disease where acquiring capital is God.
Most people think losing weight is hard, because the system in which the human body operates prioritizes capital, not human health. You could easily give people more free time to work out, but that costs money and the elite don't want you to pay for it. Standing still is also extremely unhealthy, so removing chairs is psychotic at best to deal with the problem. Most foods are also rigged with tons of stuff that are just bad for you from the get go, in order to make more profit.
Europe's food market is considerably better than USA's food market by a long shot, so it's easier for me to avoid health hazards.
But it isn't hard because losing weight is inherently hard, it's hard because the system itself does not care about human health. It's not in the equation. If anything, there should be bursts of exercise throughout working hours and time to walk from one place to another, but we made it impossible with cars and strict work schedules with long working hours.
Not sleeping also vastly increases apetite etc. Noise pollution, air pollution, light pollution, all of it creates a harder living enviornment for the human animal, all for profit.
Losing weight is not hard. It's made hard on purpose. The stuff that makes people fat are consequences of politics and economics. You can only put a certain percentage of authority on the individual.
And on top of that, the only people making food recommendations and talking about food science are people with time and money from literally being fit. All of them are wealthy, upper class people.
And on top of all that, visible abs are a sign of starvation in most people, not the other way around. Your abs shouldn't be visible. The same way your feet are not meant to look the way they do, but shoe companies don't like foot health. Your toes are deformed, which causes your gait to become corrupted, and all that can also influence your joint health and knee health and more. That's how utterly f*cked the system is. You probably don't even know what a healthy foot looks like with outstretched toes etc. The big toe is supposed to be able to stretch outward NOT INWARD. Most running shoes aren't designed to optimize health, they're just products made for profit, not for health. Then people wonder why the obese people are running in pain or why it's painful to run, it aint your feet that are exhausted, it's your shoes and pavement destroying your feet that used to travel long long distances on sand and soil.
It's all f*cked from the ground up.
Keep on going, but don't overdo it. Women are supposed to have a higher amount of fat accumulated around the belly and thighs, so ask your doctor at a certain point, if what remains on your body is healthy fat or unhealthy fat.
I genuinely feel like all of this boils down to *friendships* rather than relationships. People treat dating like it's a separate thing, but it isn't. Your partner is your best friend - with the physical stuff added in on top. Don't look for a girlfriend, bud, just look for FRIENDS! Build intimate, meaningful relationships with people regardless of gender, get yourself a great support group. If nothing happens at first, or even for a good long while, you will still be happier, healthier, more socially and mentally stable. Work on yourself, physically and mentally. Build up that self confidence. Eventually, things will happen naturally.

I really appreciate that Hasan at least addresses this from time to time, even if he doesn’t stress enough how it does lead to violence and harassment against women. (The sh*t they say is so insane and anyone would be horrified if they said that about other groups of people). Unfortunately- people like that will only listen to another man, so at least Hasan notices that and talks about it.

"Go to therapy" is extremely useless advice. Unless it's a very special therapist, no one will understand this issue. I've been to therapy personally
@PersonalityDetector to each their own. I understand some people don't get much out of therapy, but for others it's extremely useful and can help them get their life on track. It also doesn't have to be hyperspecifically just for being an incel, these people usually have more than only one problem in their life. If someone is at the point they identify as an incel, trying therapy isn't going to hurt.

When I was a young man in the late 90s/early 2000s I was incredibly self conscious with women. Having a girlfriend or just any kind of relationship with a woman was all I really wanted in life but I suffered from anxiety, social phobia and panic attacks that were at their worst in social situations with women. This made me incredibly angry at the world, eventually made me incredibly angry at women who I perceived at the time as treating me like I didn’t exist. Luckily there was no online incel cult to fall into but I’m almost sure if there had been I would have fallen down that rabbit hole and never gotten out again. In the end things worked out, I worked on myself, did some positive thinking stuff l, started working out etc and I’ve been happily married for coming up to twenty years. I think the thing that started the change was one day coming to the realisation that I was responsible for my situation and so long as I blamed it on others it would never change. I guess I was lucky because these days there’s a whole cadre of internet grifters telling men like I was to blame women.
The problem with those brats is thinking they're owed anything, while not caring about being fair to others themselves. Simple as. Spoiled brats problems.

I am of the belief that these guys need a big brother system. Someone needs to take them out to a bar and teach them how to socialize with people, not just women, because they’re not good with guys either. Demonstrate how to flirt, acceptably, give them reasonable expectations for what happens when you meet someone at a bar. Sure, sometimes you’re gonna go home together that night, a lot of the time you’re not, but you have laid the foundation for the next meeting. I really feel like all of this comes down to fear of rejection and an inability to resolve any dissonance internally that results from that rejection.

It always blows me away how normal incels are. The talk about themselves like theyre these repulsive slugs but then you see their face and its like a totally normal looking person. My mom wasn’t attracted to my dad at first, she started hanging out w him as his RA when his roommate died and she felt bad. Her attraction grew after she spent time w him. Its not that simple. Love and attraction are very complicated and difficult to explain. Personally, I don’t know how my attraction works, but even being physically attracted to a person doesn’t mean that I want to seek them out. Not everyone I’m physically attracted to I’m compatible with, and vice versa for emotional attraction. As someone else said, attraction is complicated and honestly human relationships in general are hard to understand, especially if you’re neurodivergent.
Hasan's chadvice always helps me, ive never felt myself feeling incelly but sometimes i feel insecure especially due to being autistic, but ive had moments in my life were i was a chill person with friends around alot and times I've just been a miserable sack to everyone and being alone in my room and this moment rn where I'm in the middle of being more aware of the world being empathetic and taking things slow, enjoying my hobbies and working towards a goal i feel so much better than ever. love isnt everything i know one day i will have something but rn in my late teens its just not something i care about sure i want love but there's so much more i want before that. alot of incels are my age 16-20 they are taking things to fast yknow gotta slow down and focus on yourself everyday im improving i recently got a skin care routine and found a hairstyle i fw im reading a bunch and studying to become a front end developer i have one friend and they're amazing and i chill alot at home and hang with my mum, i cant wait for the future and all this is because i found Hasan stopped consuming that right wing nonsense and just did me, i hope others can chill too.

as an eastern woman (I’m from Poland so I’m not influenced with American culture) - we value -
1)if you go to work (any work, just to do something, we can see you are taking your life seriously)
2)if you have hobby (gym can be a hobby also, but I personally prefer if you are interested in intelectual subject matter)
3)good sense of humour (not at the expense of current minority group)
4) can cook and clean by yourself (you’re 26 not 6 and you don’t need mommy)

It’s kind of funny I’m in a really similar situation to you. For a long time now I’ve felt like a loser cause I didn’t have anything going for me. I dropped out of high school cause of adhd, depression and being really lonely. But I’m working on that now, I got my ged :D and I’m also working on becoming a front end developer haha. I also have 1 friend and I’m trying to socialize more and meet new people. And I have a few hobbies that keep me busy. There are a lot of layers to the incel problem. The reality is these guys are terrified of making a mistake. All of their interactions with women were probably so mentally tied in not coming off weird that they came off as weird anyways. They are also probably with the idea of "selling" themselves as a person. Listen to how these guys talk about themselves. I couldn't imagine being on a date with someone who detests themselves that much.

Maybe this analogy will help: I used to be a picky eater, but one day I was at a friend's house and their mom made some food I'd never tried before. I didn't like it, but I didn't want to be rude so I just ate it and pretended I liked it. Eventually I got used to the flavor and it became an acquired taste.
That's what socialization is like. It's what most things in life are like. Scary until you start doing it, then it becomes normal and eventually it becomes like second nature and you might even start to like it.
IMO the biggest issues with incels is that they're allowed to opt out of too much shit. They are afraid of talking girls so they just retreat into these weird holes in the internet filled with other people who are afraid of talking to girls, and they develop their own weird little culture that reinforces all of their flaws and issues instead of overcoming them.

He probably means awkward. Which would improve by actually talking to people.
Maybe he visibly stimms (self-stimulating behavior, like rocking, twirling, finger snapping or flicking, etc ) or has trouble with eye contact? Autism is a spectrum, and people have different 'symptoms' and different degrees of autism. Also, a lot of autistic people learn to 'mask' their symptoms to better fit into society, which complicates things. If someone show less autistic traits, are they a less severe case or are they masking?

There is, however, some element of truth, in that the more often you socialise, the better you tend to be at it.

I'm 5'2" and I've had such bad luck with romantic partners that if I had any less self-awareness I'd be an shortcel. They’ve really set themselves up for failure with this “I can’t do it” mentality. Possible solution to this is to take a nursing or a medical transcription course which has a majority of women as students and possible coworkers. Once you start working with women and see them as your colleagues and not as conquests, you’ll see that talking with them isn’t such a big deal. Bonus points if you’re tech savvy. Calling it a "mentality" makes it sound like something you can control. It's more almost like a form of depression that you've gotta consciously fight hard to snap yourself out of. But like, it is what it is, everytime you hang out with people who care about you (ie friends) things like that will improve, that's how you gained social skills in the first place, it takes doing. Back in the day multiplayer meant 4 people on one couch with split screens, I mean, if it's possible to do so, hold a gaming sesh with yr buddies y'know, if yr gonna sit there and play games and eat cheesy snacks anyway then do it with the crew, you don't all have to crowd onto the same sofa, but you get my point. I can't tell anyone who identified as an incel what they're feeling, but if loneliness is the issue, then go be with people, if yr terrified of talking to strangers in person (like I am) then make it easy on yourself, practice by making small talk with cashiers, don't flirt with them, I mean just be friendly, small talk is good actually, it's what we do to let people know we see them. By the time you have a handful of casual friendships with people you see regularly you'll be shooting the shit and making people think you're an interesting person to talk to before you even know it. I'm from the south, so asking strangers how they feel is practically a cultural requirement for idle conversation so half the time the cashier will ask your day has been anyway, in my experience, especially if they recognized you and you don't start problems in their store. I just had the strangest experience with someone I now realize sees himself as an incel with a vendetta. I have been friends with him since childhood and though we spoke online often hadn't seen him in many years.
