That was very unexpected. I never expected a spelling mistake in a VGA Sierra game. "The last thing you here is the suspect's laughter."
You'd be surprised how hard I laughed at the montage of Sonny getting run over 4 or 5 times in a row.
Undercover cop should have stayed in his car. Shouldn't he know better than to get out of his car and approach a policeman like that? He was asking to get shot.
Getting hit by the cars never seems to get old.

I never played this game or any of its series...but I MUST find the collectors pack that has the whole set! This game looks amazing and funny. I played the Kings Quest games, and Laura Bow series but had no idea how great this was lol. I love when the deranged man takes your shield and in retaliation you put a bullet in his head hahaha...I laughed so hard out loud at that sequence!
How come there is never any cars going by on the highway when you stand there but as soon as you take one step BAM there's one.

It's not hard to see why Lucasarts had a dig at Sierra games in The Secret of Monkey Island - giving you game over for falling a few inches through an old staircase - really, what's the point?

Man that brings back memories of me being a kid in the mid 90's and playing this game. My brother and I would dick around find out how to lose and I remember this vividly because outside of Doom, this was the gnarly-est portrayal of death I had seen. My brother and I lol'd a good amount.

Those run-over scenes are funny every time! The only thing that would make them better is a Wilhelm Scream.Also, have you noticed how Bonds' patrol car is a coupé? Glad to see Lytton Police take style into consideration as well.
Yeah, the scream and crashing of glass is funny.
I love how it's the same guy who runs you over every time. Obviously a mad cop killer on the hunt on that stretch of road. Oh, and that final one, which is "hey, you won the game, but you forgot to look at the settings on the drip one time in the hospital scene, so you've got to do it all again!"

There's also a bug: If you make up the photofit of the bushy-bearded guy at the beginning of the game, you still get the old lady saying "that's him! etc etc" (even though she's not actually there). Evidently Sierra thought that people wouldn't play about like that and only wrote one script.
It's nice to see Ken William's likeness starting at 5:24.
The very first time I played this, I must have gone through just about all those game-ending scenarios with the loony -- and unintentionally, I might add!
Part of the problem, aside from not being familiar with real police protocol, was that Officer Walls encouraged you to use self-defense when the guy attacked or reprimanded you for not being able to handle "an unarmed man." The payoff with the latter, of course, is when you bring him to jail and does your colleague in!
This one brings back so many memories. I, myself, tried most of that stuff in the game just for the fun of it... Those were sure good times. Hey, don't you think that Officer Bonds looks a lot like Peter Weller in Robocop

LMFAO! I'm only in the first two minutes and this is already hilarious! This is the only big name game in Sierra that I've never played. I've played Leisure Suit Larry, King's Quest, and Space Quest.
