If he's so scared of an unarmed man that his first thought is to shoot him, I don't believe he should be a police officer. That's just my opinion, though. Something almost *exactly* like this actually happened in Atlanta in March. A police officer shot and killed a totally naked man, claiming the man 'charged' him. Personally, with the way cops are coddled by their own departments and the legal system unless they're ludicrously corrupt to the point of being comic book villains, I don't see anything really serious happening to him even if the shooting was found to have been against their own guidelines. But I suppose we'll find out some time in the coming year which one of us is right. Though for the purposes of the game, since the cop IS on leave pending the investigation, then Sonny would still be sitting at home and unable to solve the cult murders. So there's that?
they are actualy allowed to use it, or at least draw it, if the person could kill them with their bare hands in some cases, say the person were say an ex/current marine or something, or the cop was a shrimp trying to arrest a 6'2 guy who can bench 400 lbs, are they trained to deal with someone like that alone and unarmed? In some jurisdictions if they believe the person poses a deadly threat to them they can use deadly force, even if they are unarmed. Yes, calling for backup they could do, buta cop like in those situation having to ARREST someone like that, they probably couldn't handle. I was told my grandfather beat up a cop once who told him to go home because he was underage and drinking, it was maybe in the 40's or 50's. I'm not sure I believe it, or maybe things were way different back then, I don't know why he didn't go to jail if it's true.

I think what the game means is that you use the passenger side to exit the vehicle because the driver’s side would put you in the middle of the road.
