Hey, I found another way to lose ... happens when you lose your time in the game by going to places where you should not go, the easiest way it happens is when you should go to cotton cove to see the mugger go to the police station and take the white car and tries go alone, the time a patrol car stops you and tells you that the captain calls you urgently. First the captain gives you a warning and if you do it again suspended and you lose.
It looks like it can happen at any point in the game if you take too long. I just saw TurianShepard get fired at the very beginning of the game as he took too long to go to the jail. He was really struggling with the parser. I wonder if the firing is timer based or if its based on the number of parser attempts.
That brings back memories. And PC speacker is how we played most of this game (and monochrome) until I got a 386 with sound card a few years later and it was like a different game! :)

He received one warning to start his investigation then when he finally started to drive to the jail, the chief recalled him on the radio and fired him in a cut scene with a close up of the chief.
They do, but there's nothing stopping you from pulling the trigger once it's halfway drawn unless your safety's on. ...Assuming you're using a gun with a safety anyway.
@Kyronea It shouldn't be illegal to flatten someone who doesn't follow traditional safety procedures. If they're too brainless to look both ways and use the cross walk, you'd be doing evolution a favor.

I didn't think regular police officers were allowed to be armed on a plane. I thought only certified US Air Marshalls could have a gun on a plane.
