    5:14 - this is a great shot! nice review btw. Honestly I think lenses like this are priced appropiately to their true optical performance. These are not all perfect lenses but for the price and purpouse some people on the budget can get these wide perspectives at MUCH cheaper price. And that's what these "cheaper" manual lenses are for. :)

      Thank you! I agree with you but I have to specify the flaws in my reviews. They could have worked a bit more on the 17mm because the 35 and 50mm are really good lenses.

    I've never heard of focus breathing on a manual focus lens before this.

      Really?

    • @mattcero1
      @mattcero1 2 года назад +1

      @@AndreiDimaReviews Well I'll say I've only heard about it referred to with auto focus lenses and how much they have to breath to get and stay in focus.

    Thanks a lot. Do you straighten photos in post production? What soft do you use? Any tips?

    • @AndreiDimaReviews
      @AndreiDimaReviews  3 года назад

      Yes I do! I use Photoshop, the crop tool to straighten and lens correction for perspective adjustment.

    Great review.
    I own this lens but after a month now there's a rattle in my lens, while nothing has happened. Now it is at the seller's for repair.

      @AndreiDimaReviews  3 года назад

      Hello, try getting the 35mm f1.4 and the 16 f1.4 for weddings, the kit lens is good but not for weddings.

    Hi, I currently have a Pen-F and Sigma 30mm 1,4 and am very happy but unfortunately too big.
    I am interested in a bright compact lens mainly for street photography and I am undecided between the two TTartisan lenses 23mm 1,4 (plus compactness) and the 17mm (plus focal but less compact) what do you recommend? I would have doubts about their sharpness, to be picky, the potential that the two lenses have in post-production both with open and closed aperture.

    • @AndreiDimaReviews
      @AndreiDimaReviews  3 года назад +1

      Hello, from what I have seen in some reviews the TTArtisan 23mm f1,4 is not that good, I did not had the chance to review it. So from the two I would go with the 17mm, but my favorite small street photography lens is the TTArtisan 35mm f1.4, I have a review on my channel if you are interested.

      @@AndreiDimaReviews thank you, for me the 35mm mounted on my Olympus would be about a 70mm full frame equivalent, too narrow for my needs and then I don't think it can replace my sigma in terms of quality.

    Hi! I need lens for low light video. I have the TTA 50mm f1.2 and the 7A 35mm f1.2, mostly using the 35mm but still not wide enough on smaller rooms, so oreder this TTA 17mm f1.4, I hope it will be usable for low light video as much the 35mm one I like :)
    I have an APSC sensor custom camera ;) I 3D printed M43 mount on it and usi it like an M43 cam.

      @@AndreiDimaReviews I have this lens here now. A bit too wide for me, should have bought tge 24mm version which is aso cheapest. I get strange vignetting with my infra cut outer filters as light is passing them in an angle and it is sensitive to the angle. I use modified sensor used for astro photo too so hav to put thr ir cut filter on the front lens for normal shoots.

    The 50 1.2 is ridiculously good. I honestly think the 23mm 1.4 is the worst performing of all the ttartisan lenses made.
