What a great episode. Especially the end where they’re just chatting, and she has a genuine conversation with Sean. I’ve always dreamed of her writing a book for young girls or women on how to be fully in their feminine energy- she just defines a confident woman; eloquent, poised, funny, intelligent, a good conversationalist; she knows her qualities and doesn’t do more or less than what she is.

I've always liked Salma but have never been able to pinpoint whether she is sincere. Which isn't exactly a bad thing as she is a great actress. So them showing the post-tasting clips really made me value her as a person. Sean is one of the most honest, gentle and genuine "celebrity" interviewers out there. Her picking up on how much he puts into his work and that is shows, is so special.

I have to say this, I'm only 6min in, but this is the best interview I've ever seen of hers. Everywhere else, she's treated like the funny-quirky-sexy latina, whereas here she's a complex human being with decades of knowledge and experience on her craft. Sean, you're fantastic. Arguably the best interviewer in media today. Well researched and always interesting. Doesn’t ever have to be controversial or contentious with his guests. His style of interviewing always seems to relax his guests in to a very relaxed and honest state I’m wondering if chilli acts as a sort of sodium pentathol 😊

Everybody is talking about Salma adopting Sean as a mexican, but can we appreciate how down to earth she is, especially when she sits with him at the end, asking him about his job and being genuinely interested? A lot of the times, we put actors on a pedestal, but in reality, they're the same humans as us, with just more exposure. I love when we can see the normality in a person such as Salma. This was a great interview!
I think it really shows what she was saying about wanting to be a part of movies, not wanting to be an actor. You can tell she really has a passion for what she does, she isn't doing it for fame

That totally CRACKED ME! how wonderful Salma uses Spanish expressions to describe sensations, always proud of her roots. Plus the visual descriptions “This one is an ATTACK to the tongue… You don’t feel any flavor, just PAIN… Like a BAD lover”… 😂😂😂😂😂
Sean noticed all the descriptions, but sth truth about us Mexicans is that we’re, most of us, very visual, and we can be very descriptive with comparative images. Salma totally handled those spicy wings gracefully, being Mexican gives us a bit of advantage (hope Sean invites Korean, Thai and Indian Hollywood movie stars, they have extremely hot peppers more demolishing than us Mexicans)

Ever since watching Desperado back in the cable box era, I've always thought Salma Hayek as a prestigious unique talented actress. After rewatching this Hot Ones, I realize how funny and positively hysterical she is. What a woman and actress. Great interview.
Sean probably restores these actors faith in humanity with the quality of questions he asks. Dude is brilliant.
When she said “like a bad lover” I almost cried. Never watched an interview or anything where Selma was being herself. She’s seems like an enjoyable person to be around and very authentically herself.

It's pretty good, watch the graham norton show. Plenty of full episodes on RUclips. It's the best "chat" show running. The closest thing was Craig fergusons late late show, lots of off the cuff humor with no boundaries.

Right?! The first thing I noticed was the eyeshadow, then I fell in love with her jacket/dress/romper, and the gold was just the perfect complement. Also her voice and how passionately she talks about everything with such class. Divine.
She is beautiful no matter what angle you shoot her from. What a treasure.
There was so much to be thoroughly impressed by in this interview, but I want to note Hayek's amazing eye makeup that never ran. That's some serious spice tolerance.
So far , in my opinion, Salma has been one of the best guests. She was so smart, insightful. Her colorful, picturesque descripture of the flavor of the hot wings was awesome. She could tell the flavors within the chile. She was paying attention to Sean. She notice his skin tone, and knew he was experiencing the spiceness. Smart woman, I am impressed. My new hero.
