well she's quiet and ethan is the interviewer asking all the questions most of the time so i don't really think it's disrespectful if the guests don't necessary constantly acknowledge her but she definitely gets a lot of love. I noticed deadmau5 was always glancing between them even when hila wasn't talking much and that was cool.

I agree. I assume im healthy. I have good physical shape, workout 5-6 times a week, decent - good eating habbit. I havent been to the doc in almost 7 yrs. Im worried that if i do get checked out there might be something wrong and will just ruin how i live my life and how much fun i get. It's mentally devastating. However, if i do feel something terrible then i will. But ever since i got in the US 7 yrs ago i've been okay. Im just trying to take care of myself the best way i can. Here's to more years of hopefully not sick! 🍻🍻🍻

It's hard to read his personality on Hot Ones, but this is really eye-opening.
What I did notice already before this was that he was doing his job and research there really well, and actually asking the most interesting questions.
I did not know Sean was underpaid for such a show! Come on man, he deserves way better...

I think it’s more likely that people need to constantly restock on hygiene items. You only buy a toy once, generally, but you always restock your razors, buttwipes, toothpaste/toothbrush. I think the companies just realized it’s more lucrative to sell items you need to constantly buy more of.

Sean uses more sayings than I knew existed. But I somehow always know what he means.
literally was thinking the same thing, he just spews them out
he also delivers his descriptions in three different ways typically. like "____ happened. like -description 1-, or -description 2-, or for example -description 3-"..it gets a little weird when you can anticipate it and count them 1-2-3. but it's a good delivery method and he's a great interviewer/host.
Also, his use of car-related items as a point of reference is interesting.
1) like a mom pulling her child from under a Volkswagen's tire
2) The Rock eats a whole plate of food as big as a Land Rover's tire
Somebody needs to make a clip mashup of all his sayings, they are so good, and it seems like he just makes them up on the spot.
Metaphors. He uses metaphors. It’s just good descriptive speech. He also uses the “rule of three” for engaging discussion.

Sean has talked about being scared that people wont like him enough for a purely personality driven show. This kinda proves him wrong.
Watched this one live on Twitch. Honestly one of the top 3 best episodes in terms of the interview. Ethan is clearly getting good at interviewing people, and Sean as an interviewer himself put together great responses. Lots of awesome insights. Good job, everybody! And props to Ethan. Really coming into his own.

Momcilo Maravic I think he has worked on not interrupting. He used to do it much more. Also, sometimes you have to cut in to steer a conversation. And I have been one of Ethan's harshest critics a lot of the time, lately.

Really nice to get more of an in depth conversation with Sean. There is soooo much content out there with him, but most of the conversation is so surface level and he's usually interviewing. It's super nice to have him on the receiving end and actually give us a chance to know him. Real conversation instead of him trying to put on a show. Thanks guys!

Sean's devotion to research each guest he has on the show is very unique. most interviews/interviewers are not able to invest that much time into their subject. That is ultra unique. It makes each episode of HO like a mini-doc

There's always good ass marketing advice given in H3 podcasts. Get them tooth paste and 2 plies 5-star hotels.

this specific episode is probably my favorite of every single podcast i've ever seen. Like, after the hour mark the mood is just literally 3 super humble honest people having a therapy session with out knowing it. Talking about juggling time, the small dashes of insecurities about if their good at there crafts, the passion is just dope. It's just three normal ass homies chatting and I can vibe with the realism.
I am also super fucking high.
As Philly D is the one who introduced me to Hot ones (via Today in Awesome) I'm REALLY looking forward to him being on the show.

This has been my favorite H3 podcast yet. The chemistry between Ethan, Hila and Sean is so strong, and seeing the crew come in at the end was so happy. Smiled the whole way through :).
I knew someone like Hila who was very withdrawn and introverted who occasionally revealed their true self in the form of an explosive, infectiously happy and excited personality. They're no longer a part of my life, but hearing Hila reveal that part of herself reminds me of that person. Cherish the quiet ones with a lot of love to give, or you might regret it every day.

I consider Nardwuar to be the best interviewer ever, that being said i've always seen Sean having his awesome style with great questions. so yes Sean you're for sure one of the best man.
bakerXderek Nardwuar isn't even a good interviewer by definition. He's unique and has his own style which is why he's stayed relevant for decades but if compared to the likes Letterman and Carson he's nowhere near as skillful at getting the most out of any interview.

Alexander Forslund Talk show hosts aren't even good at interviews. Talk shows are all just ways for a celebrity to do easy PR. They tell the producers what they want to promote, a sometimes fake anecdote to make them appear nice/funny/relatable depending on their motive, and give them questions for the host to ask. The host might improv some jokes along the way in the interview but otherwise it's all canned and planned by the celebrity's PR. That's why Sean Evans does so well because he actually breaks them out of the script.

Alexander Forslund I'm sorry to burst your bubble but yes, they were just better at making it more natural. Talk shows are used for PR, and the talk show has to rely on celebrities wanting to come on the show so it has to cater to their agenda. Will Letterman ask a more "deep" or "hardened" question? Sure. But those questions were also inserted so the celebrity can appear tough, or deep, or can apologize, or be seen more human. No celebrity would go on a show that knowingly surprised them with hard questions or curveballs.
Discussions like Tacogate is why I watch the h3h3 podcast. You guys make the podcast so comfy with casual discussions like you're sitting in someone's living room. Don't change.
