I’ve been using the MG ZS EV for the past three months and have driven 5000 kms, and I must say, the experience has been on another level! The reliability of MG is top-notch - the range they show is spot on, and the charging times are exactly as promised. When I bought this car, everyone was telling me not to go with an EV. I even took test drives of the Seltos and Creta, but after driving the EV, I just didn’t like them. Now, I’ve stopped justifying my choice to friends and family because without experiencing it, they just can’t understand the power and ease of an EV. I drove my father-in-law’s Baleno after driving the ZS EV, and it felt like a bullock cart compared to this EV 🤣.
@@allOizzOwell If you want ease of driving and if you can install charger at your home you can definitely go with EV. Also how frequently you travel out of town as well. See in my case generally I drive 1200 kms in a month but I want XUV with feature pack so I decide to with selto s or Creta but I found if I go with patrol then 10k will be the fuel cost on top of EMI so I choose ZS EV over that because my running cost is almost zero as solar is there at my place.

Bro but you are already paid extra money which you are going to save in future.... Plus after 160000 km battery concern will be there....How would you justify these 2 points... I would appreciate your response.
@humblepawn873 I run 40k kms every year. If it consider a base Creta diesel for 15.5 lakhs at end of 5 years it would cost me 28.5 lakhs for 200k kms considering cost of 6.5rs. a km for fuel plus maintenance. Same for my punch would be 19 lakhs at 2.5 rs a km . Assuming both have a resale value of 5 lakhs after this much running I would still save about 10 lakhs. And I'm not planning to sell at 2 lakhs I'm ready to invest 5-6 lakhs for a new battery and use it for city. An evs smoothness, torque and convenience is unmatched to an ICE. Infact now after 20k kms I feel even if there's no saving in EV still it's a much better tech to use than ice.

Since they are centrally located, the maintenance, air filtering etc. is extremely easily so energy efficiency is well maintained throughout it's lifespan. About ICE we know very well how badly people maintain Cars. Drive it even when PUC is gone. Will not wonder if for most people the efficiency is below 10%. 4. Power plants are normally away from the cities but cars produces pollution directly at your door step. 5. If Lithium is mined, how does petrol come to existence? dc charging cost 18-25 rs . ev car does 8 km per unit so price is 2.25-3 rs per km . home charging rate is 1.5 rs km or less. diesel price is 90 rs /km . even if your car have mileage of 20km/l it cost 4.5rs per km how is it same. in cities it will cost 6 rs per km.
Ethanol is a good option instead of petrol. Only when it is extracted from Bamboo as it requires less water than Sugarcane Also Hydrogen combustions engines might be an option but the volatility of H2 and storing it makes it a problem So as of now ig Ethanol is the only good option
Not more than fossil fuels lol. Show some maths before spreading misinformation... Btw batteries are recyclable so there will be a point when new EVs will be made out of old scraped EVs
Biggest problem with EV is charging time. Even if there is sufficient charging infrastructure, one still needs to wait for an hour to charge. It's not possible to wait that long in the middle of a trip. EV is good for city usage where one can charge at night at home.
Driving 500 to 600 kilometers in the Taigo EV will require two charging stops, assuming the vehicle is fully charged at the start. Each charging session will take more than one hour. To maximize range, it's best to maintain a speed between 60 to 80 km/h. If you exceed this speed, you may need additional stops for charging. In contrast, an ICE vehicle can cover the same distance at speeds of 80 to 100 km/h without stopping. For the EV, this journey will take approximately 6 hours 15 minutes of driving at 80 km/h, plus more than 2 hours for charging, totaling about 8.30 hours for 600 kilometers. An ICE vehicle, however, could complete the same trip in 6.30 hours. You can increase your speed here and reduce the time. Although EVs are more cost-efficient, the charging breaks may lead to additional expenses during stops In short EVs takes double time with a lot of headache.
I believe you have mentioned the real world problems with driving EVs long distance. 1. Driving above 80kms per hour reduces mileage significantly. 2. Fast chargers not operational. 3. Power outages. 4. No local support for breakdown
If you have solar panels at home then EV is sensible. If not then electricity at home is costly as rates of electricity increase in slabs as per usage.

Looks like a video "financed" by EV companies. Developed markets LIKE US & Europe are seeing drastic dips in EV sales, unicorns like Rivian are struggling. Influencers in India are still painting a rosy picture. Nothing wrong with ICE vehicles. Choose wisely.
It'll outlast the body of the car. Just check reviews by early Tesla owners... Those cars had inferior battery tech whereas today it's much more advanced especially LFP cells. Expect maximum 20% degradation in a good quality LFP after running 6 lakh km (2000 charges x 300km range). itne mei engine bhi ghiss jaata h
Sir, what is the resale value? Why does anyone want to buy an old EV if better technology better battery, and long-range, are present? Please do comment?
Hi as you are running Mahindra ev, how much It's AC is effective in peak summers specially in North India like delhi, where this year heat crossed 49 dig and most of the acs were not working properly How much a battery car can take that load ?
I have only an ev car (Punch ev LR) and it's my first car. I stay in ulwe and do Pune to Navi Mumbai every week. Loving the experience of home charge and convenience of travel. Done 5k kms so far and electricity bill 3k per month from single domestic meter

The main reason why automobile industry is spending so much money in R&D to improve IC engines per better norms (Bs6) is simply because they have more than 90 percent market share. You can improve majority of your fleet and that will be far more environment friendly than putting money on new EV tech. You cannot overnight demonetize a widely regulated and accepted tech just because you found relatively better one.. it requires planning and prep work without which results in chaos.. Wait why that sounds familiar?! .. Let's hope they no better than.. you know..
the fact is tha EV cant be your primary car. EV is valuable if your office and job location is arround of 100 km ana jana and if u use to run 100 minimum in a day than EV will be good choice but cant be primary vehicle overall
my nexon ev travel 8km on single unit so considering 18-25 rs price it comes to 2.25 - 3 rs per km . but 80% of my drive is with home charging at less then 10 rs per unit so average cost is less then 1.5 rs per km . hybrids do 25km/l so average cost is 4 rs per km and cng lines are painfull .
In total amount GST and other charges are also added + time(it is not just 18-25 rupees). It is the best option when you charge it at home appreciate that. But for fast chargers it approx. same as Hybrid (+much more time is saved). If you don't agree watch videos on fast charges. Watch Gagan choudhary's podcast where he also told same problem. They are great I know but you told that CNG has big lines after 1-2 years what about EV's ? That's why I wrote only for highway trips baki ghar ke aas pass evs are best
@omkar21345 GST is there on other cars as well. You also get life tax-free. And 1 rs per km is good deal. Future is EV. The charging station provides are increasing day by day with 12000 plus charging stations. One can take decision based on their intellect or else there is always a debate.
Why nobody talks about "real" environmental effects of batteries and EV vehicles. Everybody is just blindly following what gives them money. Sadly this channel is doing that too😢
why do ev haters not talk about real environmental impact of producing oil from middle of ocean, carrying in huge cargo ships around world, refining it in dirty refineries, and carrying it again via trains and trucks within country? 5kg lithium in 50kWh battery is bad but car using 5000L of fuel is clean oil industry is happy to have idiots like you doing free propaganda for them
When compared to ICE cars, EV cars effects on environment are far less including EV batteries. Currently the EV batteries are being made of two battery chemistries. LFP and NMC batteries. The chemicals used in these batteries are obtained by mining. These batteries can be recycled more than 90% and be reused to create new batteries. Now compare this to the extraction, refining, transportation and utilization of crude oil. The impact of using oil is far more compared to EV and it's batteries.
I would not buy an EV if it is going to be my only car. As a second car for city use it is ok but Hybrid is better as an allrounder for city driving and long distance driving
the top model on road price for nexon petrol manual is 15 lakh, automatic petrol 16.32 lakh and ev with 40kwh battery is 17.14 lakh . if you charge at home you are saving 5 rs per km considering petrol nexon mileage of 16km/l . so your breakeven for manual to ev is 214000/5= 42800km and for automatic to ev 82000/5=16400km . if you want to buy new 46 kwh battery pack at 1810000 on road then add another 20000 km to breakeven.
India is not only about big cities. I live in tier 2 city and I dont find chargers even in 200+ km. Those which are shown are not working or not maintained. Its lot difficult for me to go for ev for at least few years.
You need public chargers mostly under only for below 2 situation: 1. If you FREQUENTLY drive more than 200KM a day. 2. Don't have parking space. I live in Tire-2 city Nagpur and we have many chargers in and around the city.

Looks like a video "financed" by EV companies. Developed markets LIKE US & Europe are seeing drastic dips in EV sales, unicorns like Rivian are struggling. Influencers in India are still painting a rosy picture. Nothing wrong with ICE vehicles. Choose wisely.
What about battery replacement of ev , I think warranty is upto some thousand kms ? Should we consider this factor
Agr ev me scooty ki trah swapping battery ka option de diya jaye to person apni car me dusri battery extra carry kar sakta hai
China mei Nio company karti h car battery swap. Afaik 3 minute lagte h
car battery weigh over 300 kg how will you swape that
Not only does the ev charger infra but the cost 1:30 of charging outside is costly then the diesel ..
Good video👍
What about the battery replacement cost ?, if we have to do it.
Ev is our future..💚💚 💚💚💚💚💚💚
Pleas make a video on MG Windsor EV
Hi as you are running Mahindra ev, how much It's AC is effective in peak summers specially in North India like delhi, where this year heat crossed 49 dig and most of the acs were not working properly
How much a battery car can take that load ?
We ev owners experienced drop in range due to AC running full load. AC kept working fine
For highway use petrol car for city use ev
Rachit bhai returns
I have only an ev car (Punch ev LR) and it's my first car. I stay in ulwe and do Pune to Navi Mumbai every week. Loving the experience of home charge and convenience of travel. Done 5k kms so far and electricity bill 3k per month from single domestic meter
Sir Real estate mei 1 2 and 3 BHK flats with and without amenities k kya h? I want to invest?
Is ulwe a bit cheaper than other cities in Navi Mumbai.
By the way,
Jai Maharashtra. ❤
@@YoungAtharva ulwe has lower rates in new sectors like 24. But if you want to buy near busy places then it's higher than other Navi Mumbai nodes
How much is your monthly running in km ?
@@humblepawn873 2k km per month
I have not received any subsidy and registration waiver till now, even after 1.5 years of buying an EV.
Which State?
I have xuv 400 running km 48000 in 10 months
12:22 noted 2 pahle 😅😅
Sir, you put ❤lovely short clip video of imphal city. Thanks🙏
Do you support/help for PDI service as well?
I will wait till mid 2025!
plz make video on Nexon CNG
Koi bhi after warranty bettry ki baat Q nahhi Kerta?
Jiski cost tata nexon ev ki 5lkh hoti hai .
Or to or ev car bhi costly hoti hai.
Costly ev car and bettry after warranty jod lo tab malum padega ye to petrol se bhi zyada mhengi padti hai
No one talked about slowdown in ev industry and ford cutting down production on ev products and increasing it's hybrid car production
everyone is talking infact it has blown out of proportion.
Typical of ford … Over reaction and under delivery. See how they shut shop in most of Asia and now scrambling to return.
Wait why that sounds familiar?! .. Let's hope they no better than.. you know..
Please make the video on new bolero 2025 please 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺
do your ownership viedeo of xuv400 please
It's coming soon!
Is there no subsidy for ev cars after Oct,2024?
Harrier.ev still waiting for it
Bhai Mai b harrier ev aur XUVe8/9 ka wait kr raha
☝️
Mai bhi bhai. Solar set up bhi kar liya hai. Bas 20 -22 me aa jaye
sir how's Windsor ev
Need suggestions the best car to buy under 10 lacs? That should be value for money.
Bro.. Tell me more about long range..
Lets assume for a all india trip.. Even in rough areas.. How would i do..
Hybrid cars makes more sense to me right now
But my monthly ride is 50km so I have to wait for safari.ev or I should buy diesel safari 😊
Use any taxi service or hire a car if your monthly tarvel is just 50km... you dont a car for such a small travel requirement.
EV charging🔋⚡... ghar me installation ka kya charge aata hoga
what is battery replacement cost of XUV 400
the fact is tha EV cant be your primary car. EV is valuable if your office and job location is arround of 100 km ana jana and if u use to run 100 minimum in a day than EV will be good choice but cant be primary vehicle overall
Why do you say that?
And isn’t that what almost everyone uses their car for?
End customer has nothing to do with GST Slabs, it's all win for the Manufacturer!
only government wins .
Talk also about hydrogen, ethanol cars
Why windsor was not covered on this channel???
Subsidy kya hi milegi sir ......2 mahine se site hi nhi chal rhi to subsidy apply kaise hoga
fast charger costs 18-25 rupees per unit is it cheap? then the cost of running will as same as hybrid or cng cars.
Wrong info. It will cost 1 to 2 rs per km
@@ramprasad-ue5rz 18-25 per unit +GST and other charges are still there + time?? then ?
my nexon ev travel 8km on single unit so considering 18-25 rs price it comes to 2.25 - 3 rs per km . but 80% of my drive is with home charging at less then 10 rs per unit so average cost is less then 1.5 rs per km . hybrids do 25km/l so average cost is 4 rs per km and cng lines are painfull .
Sir MG windsor ev pr range test video bnao with full details
"Pros and cons"
We are waiting for that
Why nobody talks about "real" environmental effects of batteries and EV vehicles.
5kg lithium in 50kWh battery is bad but car using 5000L of fuel is clean
oil industry is happy to have idiots like you doing free propaganda for them
No 1 looking for reduce pollution.we are concerned about save the dent in our pocket.ev also create pollution when it's manufactured
@@firestormv91and how is electricity generated in india? If you don't know, using fossil fuels 😅
@@vardangautam3630% from renewables and it's increasing exponentially every year. U can also install rooftop solar and use ev like geekyranjit did.
I would not buy an EV if it is going to be my only car. As a second car for city use it is ok but Hybrid is better as an allrounder for city driving and long distance driving
Problem is the price different between petrol or cng and EV is big...so to recover that cost for long term will be difficult
the top model on road price for nexon petrol manual is 15 lakh, automatic petrol 16.32 lakh and ev with 40kwh battery is 17.14 lakh . if you charge at home you are saving 5 rs per km considering petrol nexon mileage of 16km/l . so your breakeven for manual to ev is 214000/5= 42800km and for automatic to ev 82000/5=16400km . if you want to buy new 46 kwh battery pack at 1810000 on road then add another 20000 km to breakeven.
To everyone who has bought an EV congratulations!
Hope your smile and joy will remain even after 5 years 😂
Sir please ek Hummer ev pr video banaiye na please 🙏🙏
India is not only about big cities. I live in tier 2 city and I dont find chargers even in 200+ km. Those which are shown are not working or not maintained. Its lot difficult for me to go for ev for at least few years.
Where do u live sir
You need public chargers mostly under only for below 2 situation:
1. If you FREQUENTLY drive more than 200KM a day.
2. Don't have parking space.
I live in Tire-2 city Nagpur and we have many chargers in and around the city.
Sir your xuv400 ka review pls post kijiye
Petrol and CNG not Diesel.
Pls make on hybrids also
Telangana has road tax. You excel shows it vice versa. Can sources be shared ?
Windsor or XUV 4oo ?
Windsor. Chinese has the best battery technology, especially when they are trying to capture the market. A few years down the line I won't trust them
