is it just me, but i love it when people hate me. I feel like it gives me so much power because its like i forgot you even exist but here you are obsessing over me and wasting YOUR time. It's like they're transferring energy my way and i'm just minding my own business. Like shallon said its basically a compliment, because it automatically means you're better than them.
But it's annoying to say the least especially if they are copying everything you do. It's horrible like Single White Female the movie.

This is SO true. I had a psycho boss in the past and when I went into his office abruptly and quit he was so caught off guard he freaked out. And I didn’t yell or scream I looked him in the eyes and said it in a soft voice but I walked all the way up to his desk like I was about to jump him lol
When I have a hater and it’s because they’re jealous, it lets me know I’m doing my life the way I intended. If basic women hate me because I strive for excellence and to be extraordinary, it’s their unhappiness with themselves that they want to make my problem. I LOVE showing them I won’t be basic for anybody and it’s their problem.
They get jealous because they know they’re basic and all the same and that they will never be capable of being interesting

It always weirds me out when someone tells me how I should feel or that the way I feel is wrong, it really undercuts and invalidates a lot of mental and psychological experiences. Like, people feel what they feel, you wouldn't look at someone with a broken arm and tell them that they shouldn't feel pain, feelings aren't something you can just switch on and off at your own convenience.

@@khyati7733 People can let you know if you're expressing your feelings in a bad way, but anyone who tells you that your feelings are wrong or that you shouldn't be feeling them is only concerned about what is convenient for them. Acknowledging and processing your feelings is an absolute life necessity for your own emotional and mental well being, no one has the right to take that away from you, and anyone who tries to take that right from you is unequivocally in the wrong. Feelings aren't something that can be defined in terms of "right" or "wrong", and anyone who tries to frame them in that way probably has a vested interest in devaluing those specific feelings for a specific reason.

If I encounter a hater, I just tell them that really they love me, and the more they insult me, the more convinced I am that they love me. Then they go on the defensive, like "No I don't, I can't stand you!". And the more they protest, the more I insist that they love me. And they go away real fast!

Also: My boss and her friends use to bully me all the time at work and I realised it was because the CEO wasn't happy with her mangement style and wanted to work with us directly. After than I learned not to take notice of haters.
Jealous is the worst disease that could kill either the hater or the hated.
I think the hardest part is to hold back and not dish the hate back at your haters. Show class and just pull back on these people who doesn't have your best interest.
It is so important to identify jealousy and weed out those people in your life, because they'll never wish the best for you. And that's not a trait you want in a friend.

This really explains a lot. I've recently gotten a promotion in a place that's nearly impossible to be promoted (i just work super hard and deserved it) and I am definitely feeling the effects of some people's envy. It's disgusting.
About the copying thing, there is this girl at work who laught at me with other co workers in front of me for going blonde, mind you everyone loved it, 10 months later she's trying to go blonde and looks awful lol
LOL right! I was taking a course with 9 other girls, one of them would always analyse me and look me up and down. I can't forget once she asked me ''why do you always put your hair up in a ponytail?" I said "well, it looks put together and for taking courses I don't like my hair in my face". This girls then proceeds to say "Ugh, I never put my hair up I think ponytails are ugly". Mind you I didn't change a thing when she made that comment. The next week this girl would put her hair up in a high ponytail just like me. Not only that but dress like me and color her hair like me. Haters gonna hate

A couple weeks ago I went to a party, these were all my boyfriends friends so i went around introducing myself. And while i was doing so, some girl (my boyfriends co worker) told him. “That your girlfriend??? She’s kinda ugly”.
I never understood why she said that, her friend was trying to make excuses for her by saying she was drunk but it was still very rude.

I understand exactly what you are saying. I got a "single white female" by a housemate in grad school to the point she bought the same purse that my parents got me for my birthday. She broke up my relationship by sleeping with my ex (broke up with that boy on the spot). It's in the past but she tore down years of self-love I had for myself and that was the most regrettable thing.

I get hate for being an attractive woman. But I get the most of my hate from being an attractive women who gets good grades and is funny and has a personality.
