Love seeing annother girl kick ass on the track. I miss drag racing, need to get the money to. Build the drag trike I wanna build 800hp on a supercharged rocket 3 using big drag tyres, the dream is to do drag week. Find me a sponsor and a green card?
Chris, consider the actual contact patch of the new " flatter " Dunlop, and you may be able to sacrifice 10 m.m. in overall width, still have the same contact patch, but lighter weight !!!. Be BLESSED you're a good man the way you help subscribers. 🇺🇸🏍💪
This is what ive been telling the 240 kit and larger big tire kit guys for years. Get that stuff off the bike and pick up some power No engine mods necessary.. they always wanna add bling and weight and then wanna get faster. Good work Chris.

I race in England 150 bikes in pits on busy day . Every single one has a shinko hook up . This could be a serious game changer (if we can get them over here)
The Hookup is known to be poor on the dyno. A little work to swap a tire at the track. But it would be good to see if a noticeable difference shows up there.
@@chaz951 The Shinko Stealth 003 (Shinko Ultra Soft) is OK for street and some strip use. But the Hook Up or Hook Up Pro is the way to go for the strip. I have a Hook Up on my Gixxer. It only goes to the strip. I have one on my Busa too. It goes street and strip. I run it between 9 and 10psi at the strip. 28 on the street. It wears a ilttle faster with street use. But not to bad. I have not tried a Drag Max yet. But see a lot of them being used...
That's is a game changer if it will hook up like the shinko. That's the question. Keep up the good work brother. Can't wait to see how it works. I might be buying a couple of new tires. Lol
Damn! I’ve always loved Shinko and the look of it just nostalgia drag look it sucks times are changing. I’m gonna stick with my shinko but that was crazy never expected that much of a difference
I used the Michelin power 1 which looks exactly like the Shinko. I saw like a 10 horsepower drop also from the different tires so I definitely believe & understand. I actually thought the dyno was broken when it happened 2 me, lol🤣🤣🤣
Wow, the costs of all this stuff. Yikes. Thanks for sharing though. Will you get more HP as the tire wears also? Run it down to the cords! Nice to see the drag specialty parts coming out too.
Hey Chris just wondering for more content can you include the staff and what it takes to run a business a business like this you are killing it you're living my dream ride motorcycles for a living and racing...
I love your style man! You build the bike with quality parts and dont get into the fad of buying a snap on tool chest. The harbor Freight is good enough! Put the money to good use and were it matters. I do the same. Love the test! I might be switching the shinko for a drag max
I would like to see the ET difference between the two tires at the track. It’s still cool that the bike picked up 12hp from the tire. I used a Shinko hookup for the longest on my busa then switched to a Q3 for the streets and man talk about night and day difference
There has always been a better tire out there than the shinko ! Its called the Michelin pilot sport(power), 1, 2 or 3rd generation, its usually 3-4 pounds lighter, And can go higher speeds and is perfectly round ! Shinko are very square and notice that when you see a 250 mph car or more on the oval or land speed its Michelin or some other name band ! Shinko is the old Yokohama tire rebadged. Ask some late 70's and 80's bike drag racing guys ! Good test !
I'm excited to see the 1/4 times. Dude I thought that Dunlop was gonna be around 185 and it pulls it all the way to 191. That's incredible. Do you think Brock will also be testing out the Dunlop?
Hello Chris would have been nice to see the Q4 in the mix. It was just sitting there. But maybe you could take all three to the track since its a track rental. Also would be nice if you could borrow that zx10 you did up so we can see what it will do. Just asking.
Great videos Chris - keep up the good work. 👍 Apologies for the noob questions but: 1. Why the air line to the exhaust? 2. Am I seeing correctly - how are you able to reach across the bike and pull the shift lever into first with your left hand, without using the clutch?
This is great I've wanted to know the weight difference on these tires I've been waiting on the drag max since last year are they making a 180 version?
Ok so, help me understand. Stock arms, stock gearing and stock wheel/tire got you 196, you then stretched it, changed the gearing and tire and you lost 16 HP going down to 180 and then by changing the tire again gave you back 12HP to get you up to 192? So, is the stock tire even lighter? Does the stretch affect the HP you get at the wheel? Gearing too? You're still 4HP down from the stock geometry, how does that work?
At the beginning you were speaking of 196 horse and after you went 180 on the 2 others tire and then 192 with the new tire.Difference is the hook up on the tire and probably the diameter of the tire that would make some change versus gear ratio.I know you save 1 pound and give some effect.Where is the 196 horse from the beginning.

I was wondering the same thing. Please correct us is the original HP was 196, 176,166 or 169? Let me go look at the older video.
On the Jan 1 2020 video. You made 184HP. So, before the stretch and tire change what was your HP? (video: ruclips.net/video/AOKV8-jz-jE/видео.html)
The longer chain and sprockets hurt the hp.

The shinko tire Grows and the Dunlop stays the same.

Yes
Will this be a tire to finally meet or exceed the Michelin

188 on the Dunlop.

How does a tire make such a huge difference ??
Chris can you elaborate what difference does it make going from a 190/55 to 190/50. How does it effect roll racing and how does it affect drag racing?
A taller tire 55 vs 50 will slightly affect your gearing.
