GHOST in the house.. Enjoyed you and counrty visiting our spot... Side note brocks clutch mod is really the answer.. I was having same issue you was having at 61 inches and stock clutch. We already spoke on wheelbase.. You will not catch me on the backside next time...... For all the fans Chris did his thing.. he was handicap with wheelbase and stock clutch when you making so much power... Much respect
Quick question wheelbase is measured from center of front axle to center of rear axle, correct? Also when they say 5,7,10 over that means longer than stock?

@chrismoore just gotta stretch it out a little further about 64-65 inches and get those sprockets/clutches in line and you’ll be good to go. It’s a lot of those guys out there that’s really running good and strong but I got faith in you brother! Keep it up buddy!!

Never underestimate the streets, they can't always afford to. Or go to a track, but alot of them got more skills then track racers. 💪🏾 Respect to Chris for hanging with them on a basic set up.
Cost what to run at a track?
Use to cost me 150-200 to track my car all day at Pocono, Limerock, or VIR. 4-5 20-25 minute sessions.
@@PaddleDogC5 that's a road course, two different animals. Should be way less for regular drag events. Big money promotion events will be much more expensive. I paid 100-200 road racing my bike per day. Drag racing on practice days, Friday nights and Saturdays were only $25.00. Friday nights were assume, sometimes we do 15-20 runs in just a couple of hrs. and we get full time slips. A full weekend road racing would cost me ~ $ 600 a weekend all in, with travel, gas, motel, entry fees, two days on track...that was about the cheapest I could do it. Guys with bigger bikes and running hard could add another 3-4 hundred for a set of tires.
That was cool....I was cracking up a couple of times...I started my racing career in the streets...Sure is some fun times...

Yep that's a hard one to tame without some tweaks when you have this much power. I think you did very well for what you had to deal with Chris. Been there done that many times way back in the day. I would have tried letting the motor pull down just tad more, drive through the bog, then short shift 2 & 3. Keep up the great work and riding CM ... Cheers Dale Walker

That k8 gave you a good run even having a stock wheel base... that's why I love the k8 over any other bike.. it's one of the older bikes that will give new bikes hell.. my stock wheel base beat a exhausted and tuned 2018 V4 in the 1/4 ever run with a 30lbs lighter rider .. hell yeah

Thanks for going to the street, and not letting your pride or ego dictate your participation. You are truly a competitor for that. There are many racers that let there ego get in the way of racing, and only racing races that are easily in there favor to avoid embarrassment and ridicule.Therefore not really doing much racing if any at all. By this video you have proved that your not like that, and gained a fan in me. Keep up the good work. Love the content.

These are the videos I've been waiting to see. Now ima search for more of these. Ive watched alot of ur new videos but these are where it's at!! This is stuff we all can use on the street. Over half ur subs don't even drag race at a drank but probably more on the street. Idk just guessing

Nice runs! Move that axle out to 63-64", hook up, and a 16 clutch. Should fix all the issues on the street. Your wheel base here was good for 1/2 mile racing.

Do 63-65” on the street. On a hookup tire run like 8-10 psi for crap road but more on a gripped up road

RG was running the streets long long ago, thats where he got his start, i feel he doesnt need to take it to the streets to prove anything, now if he feels the need to go out & have some fun im all for it, im sure folks would enjoy it too 👍

Both of my Busa’s clutches used to lock up when trying to launch them smoothly.
Chris I know your an excellent rider, surprised you don't wear leather pants.... as you know chit happens! It happened to me on a lower speed crash, had everything but the pants on & it was ugly because I didn't. Be safe, love your channel!

The furnace fan your using blows a lot of air, but it could blow a lot more. It's meant to have a restriction on the air flow. Either partially cover the opening the air comes out of, or put an air filter on the side of the housing it sucks air in, or both. The fan will increase speed, move more air and be easier on the motor since it won't be free spinning anymore.
We run unprepped tracks (Road surface) and only use shinko Pro.

Check and see if Brock's can do a clutch cushion for you short wheelbase Suzuki are notorious for a chattering hardt to modulate clutch I always had that problem on my Hayabusa not so much with my Kawasakis
