@Charles Mullins it is. The bigger more prominent numbers are by 20 but the smaller numbers in between are by 10. Still insane acceleration though!

I've had to replay the video several times because it looked like a video glitch or something, the speedometer jumps from 100 to 200mph in about 2 seconds.
100 mph in like 1 second i think its pretty fast
@@Ritalie There are a total of 28 frames between when the needle leaves 100 and hits 150. Literally less than a second. All in one gear. Unbeatable if you can achieve it on the street.

I've never seen a speedometer move that fast. The sensor is running off the front ABS, so it should be close to accurate, but holy God 100 to 150 is so damn fast after the gear shift to second I think relativity may be slowing his wristwatch down.

It would have been faster if it wasn’t for that slow shift.
I personally owned a turbo busa, it was only 450 to the rear tire. And it was crazy. It would knock the tire off at 70mph no problem if it wasnt ideal conditions. The same shop that tuned and did the work to my bike up by chicago Illinois builds and tunes grudge bikes. I showed up to pick up my turbo bike and drop off my nitrous bike. Brian had a zx12r on the dyno with a turbo as big as a basketball and it made 625hp. It was an absolute animal. Not exactly a daily rider by any means but that was 6 years ago. Technology has come a long way in the scheme if big power but keeping it able to ride on the street and not overheat or load up.

And the best part about this video is it really showcases chris' experience with high power bikes.... crosswinds, street conditions, new bike, over 200, spinning tire in 5th and 6th, wheelies in 5th and 6th, and still able to ride it like its nothing.
Thats how I am with a high power FWD honda. Ill be spinning at 180mph in 6th gear and could have a casual conversation with the passenger, you could even add a slight turn. Years of practice.

As a former Hayabusa owner. I have to ask, do you call your parents and family before you let your love for riding happen ? It doesn't take much to go down on these motorcycles, and both you and I know it. You're doing hits on a public highway. Not the track. I just found your channel and am definitely going to subscribe. I gave my Hayabusa when I became a parent. My love for my child is more than the adrenaline rush I experienced doing high speed passes. I hope and pray that you grow old and healthy. that 80 to 160 was legit completely INSANE. Im surprised it didnt backflip. Also i always micro adjust my wheel alignment so that it wont pull to one side and wind affect it as much...i can see you fighting it in the bars as if the wheel is misaligned ever so slightly

I used to think there was no such thing as too much power but I might change my mind.
Naw never ever too much power that’s impossible to have too much power. The key is being able to use it, what I want is spinning is not winning. The whole issue is getting the power to the ground if everything hooked up and was actually putting the power down 100% then MAYBE too much power would be put on the table. This is just my view and opinion.
That’s always been a thing..trust me..! I went 202mph on the street at 7am in the middle of nowhere the second week I had my busa..it was my 2nd street bike, lol..

If the speedo is on the front tire, it’ll stop climbing when the front tire picks up, then jump when the wheel hits the road between shifts

Ghostrider did this 20+ years ago, and he rode well over 200mph with a dinner plate for aero assistance and no extended swingarm either.

As a gen 1 turbo Busa owner and rider with half the HP as this thing is putting out, I can only imagine how much more it pulls - lovin' it! Would love to see Chris at an ECTA, Texas Mile or other standing mile event with this beast!

I think this bike is definitely capable of reaching 250 mph if it is geared properly.
If it had the gearing for it would do it without breaking a sweat.. if you've ever felt 600 horsepower in a car that weighs 2-3000 lbs more and is still fast just imagine 500 lbs and 1.25 horsepower per pound or something ridiculous like that and you can kind of understand how mental it would actually be

There’s a rider called ghost rider over in the UK somewhere. He rides a 400 or 500 HP busa and pulls wheelies going over 200 mph. Fucking insane. There’s videos of it online.

Honestly you can see the difference in power, you can see the white busa go but once this thing gets some grip it just goes. I would love to see what it does on a prepped surface. Also I dont know if wider rubber can help you get that bit more grip on the initial launch or not but it would be nice to test it and see when you get diminishing returns

its amazing how the wind pulls it to the left regardless of which way down the highway he goes , id be checking the alignment of the wheels or the exhaust outlet position ,
maybe the chain, which is probably on the left. torques the wheel/frame. basically bends it. just a theory

My stage 2 turbo Busa was making 420 rwhp, and was almost impossible to handle on the streets. And it was a 2004 gen 1. Can’t imagine riding this beast, and trying to manage the boost.

I've been riding for more than 30 years and have had a Busa for 10...I just can't even imagine riding a machine like that without crapping myself and you're so relaxed about it. These bikes have been making that kind of power for a while. My opinion, most impressive pieces of this bike are how comprehensive and polished the turbo setup is, how composed it is at speed, how well it works at swb, and how well the clutch works just riding at this early stage of development. HTP and Moore Mafia have their shit together!

You heard wrong. It's the zx1400 that can't handle turbo very well. In fact you can take a bone stock Hayabusa and put a turbo kit on it and make 350 horsepower at the wheel all day long and it will take it all day long. I would know as my 2008 Hayabusa had a velocity stage 1 kit and that's about what we made on bone stock motor. Now I have an 2010 with an RCC Ultra turbo kit which made 607 rear-wheel horsepower at 32 lb of boost on c16 race gas. On pump gas and makes a little over 400 rear-wheel horsepower. Been racing the bike for 8 years now on the same built motor

Hell of a lot harder to put the power down on a bike than in a car, and a lot fewer guys doing it. As an example, there's a ton more data out there on making a 1500 hp viper work, than a 600 hp street bike.

Incredible! The bars are shakin and settling and shakin again on the next gear change. The rear wheels spinning up at over the ton. All the while, Chris is rock solid, just pilling it on. HTP, what an awesome team effort. As a road rider, I'd also like to see you put a supercharged BUSA together. Although I'm willing to concede that I might be behind the times and worrying to much about turbo lag and mid corner surges of power.
I think it's the spinning not the bars shaking, he's probably shaking them which I haven't had to do myself. Pretty incredible.

I had a Busa. Probably one of the best bikes I've owned.
I've got a 2016 Triumph Rocket III, highly modified, and highly customized. It has 260hp-190ft/lbs of torque, on 89 octane straight gas. 275hp-200ft/lbs torque on race gas. And, 290hp-210ft/lbs torque on E-85. It's a scary Beast that can do 0-60 in less than 2.3 seconds and the 1/4 mile in 9.5 seconds. How much more do you need!?!?
TTS makes superchargers for anything and he's getting ridiculous hp out any bike, but mine is naturally aspirated. I can't imagine what 600hp on a motorcycle feels like!?!?

@@JohnHenkamGangte from my personal experience as long as the air to fuel ratio is correct at all times and cooling or cool downs are efficient and oiling is correct and good, checking oil filter and oil changes regularly if not pushing past limits of internal parts the life of the engine should last a great bit (years) but also when boosting there is severe heat from boosting and pressure related so always good to check bearings and compression in engines on a regular basis not like every time but it should be in the regular rotation of maintenance.
Honestly you dont need a 3rd Gen busa to run like this. Any Gen with a good build and tune should be able to run the same.
