"...in what I'm going to call the Snyder Cut."
Jeremy Jahns coined the term before everyone else. Literally the day Josstice League opened.
Damnnnnnn
damn, for that revelation you have my 200th like and my comment of praise good sir
Well fionna said it before the movie came out
Superman eyes following the flash was the best scene.
aware24 I’ve watched that scene a hundred times now I looooove it! The shock on flashes face as he realises supes can match him for speed, likely never happened to him before
Armored Saiyan there can only be one best scene.
I LOVED THAT PART
Armored Saiyan best scenes are only one , that is why it is called best 😑
It made me smile and feel uneasy, like holy shit this is happening!
When superman saw the flash running, was one of my personal favorites of the film.
The eye slowly turning and Barry with the WTF????! 😂😂😂
I knew it was going to happen as soon as it focused on his face. I was like "he's gonna follow the Flash with his eyes. Just wait for it... wait for it... Damn, that's scary for someone who's normally waiting for people to catch up with his superfast brain.
This kind of subtlety is what's missing from DCEU. They should understand that not every epic moment has to be someone punching harder than the other.
MaC S3th and also that the one person that caught up with him is the most powerful being in the fucking universe. Or one of them.
Barry saved this movie from being un watchable
I just felt Batman was out of character in this movie, cracking jokes, acting goofy it just threw me off
To add to that we already had enough comic reliefs.Batman is a dark ,damaged ,serious character maybe the only jokes he cracks are semi sarcastic and seeing him showing pain, making him look like he doesn't know certain information made him look weak
Totally took me out of the movie. ....like seriously screw Joss Whedon
Totally agree. They completely changed his tone from BVS. And did anyone else notice the fact that 90% of the time he was getting his ass kicked? He was a straight fucking badass in BVS. But he's kind of a wimp and underpowered in JL. And yes I understand that he's the only one without powers, but that's their job to at least give him the illusion of "balance". And that is what they did in BVS, he kept up with them both and didn't seem worthless.
Batman makes jokes fairly often in the comics. They're usually pretty dark, and don't go over so well with his team mates generally eliciting a "did Batman just make a joke? WTF?" type of reaction.
+campbellsoup93 That's true, but that's not Batman he has been in the films. And the entire tone of the film shifted a lot from BVS, which left a lot of people asking "what happened to Batman from BVS?"
My absolute part about Justice League was SUPERMAN! The REAL *SUPERMAN* Henry cavil was meant to portray , the one we all been waiting for. The Justice League holding Superman down while the Flash runs slowly in the speedforce and Superman slowly tilt his eyes & his head towards him,the Flash expression was dead on hilarious!
Everyone busted out in laughter!
Flash:" I'm gonna die"
Star Wars: The Last Jedi
the literal facial expression of one who crapped his pants
"It was at this moment that Barry knew, he fucked up."
That "Oh sh**" moment right there
But it was a nervous laughter, like "Oh man, imma die"
The shot of batman on the side of the building in the opening scene made me geek out, it look straight out of the cartoon and comic. The way he turned his head, the bulk of his shoulder muscles, the cape, the lighting, good on ya DC.
Danny Vang agreed :)
Yeah when the guy shot the water tower and hit him in the face, it seemed like something out of the mask of the phantasm
Yeah, loved that too. I really like afflict as Batman. Love the dark knight returns look.
Fuck outta here lmao
I thought he looked way too CGI'd took me out of it
Superman was more menacing in his return than Steppenwolf was the entire movie.
Oh my god you are so write. I cringed the entire time he was on screen. Like please don’t hurt them supes! They have another bad guy to fight!
Yeah, The JLA vs Superman fight was better than the JLA vs Steppenwolf fight.
lol, true
Magnus Leo I thought the best scenes with Stepppenwlolf were when he fought the Amazonians. He was so much more threatening.
No different from how Avengers fighting hulk is are more me axing than Avengers fighting loki. The film is about establishing the heroes not the villain. I liked Steppenwolf as I didn't see him as an traditional villain. He honestly didn't even care about the heroes. He completely ignored them every time and just picked up the motherboxes and dipped. Didn't even look twice to engage most of the time and when he did he put in work. The justice league in this film is inexperienced and half the team is still learning their abilities. Had they put a more formidable foe they would have gotten wrecked long before they pulled off the finishing move. I'm going to see the film for a second time sunday. Can't waiit!
Did Jeremy coin the term “The Snyder Cut” and call that it existed?! 1:45 4:20
Because he knew it existed. Only RUclips reviewer with a brain.
@@chistianfritz9146 Jeremy even predicted the fact that there was a scene deleted after Superman's freak out!!! 4:21
Yes
Call me crazy, but to me, Aquaman was a surprise scene stealer. Jason Momoa was amazing and I'm very much looking forward to an Aquaman solo movie with him as the lead.
Skull1Hunter agreed
Jinha Choi what are you talking about? He was like a secondary power house to wonder woman before they got Superman he took the hits from SW and got good hits in like wonder woman flash and batman did less to SW, so I️ feel like his roll was another “tank” powerhouse.
LABL Vids tell me without reading his comic book and only based on this movie, wtf are Momoas powers?
Still would rather have him in his normal suit.
Aquaman was just using his Trident on the last fight scene. Just fucking useless. And how can steppenwolf beat aquaman under the sea? Aquaman is underpowered in the movie
Superman - "Tell me, do you bleed?"
*2 minutes later*
Batman - "Yup, something's definitely bleeding"
dill pickle that part gave me chills omg
Absolutely loved that part ..😂😂😂
Know Batman wasn't gonna die but damn Superman made me think about it
Favorite: Superman head turn, Aquaman lasso of truth, Deathstroke, and the save one person scene.
King Caesar I agree. Those first two were my favorite scenes.
Lol I laughed so hard at the flash only saving a person hahaha
"I changed my mind-I want to die again." "My toes hurt. How is that even possible?" I was losing my shit laughing, then it cut to Diana: "Children...I'm working with children....."
Jon Ericson that was my favorite part lol you can tell they are really like family now
Jon Ericson thats my least favorite actually. its so cringy
Superman when holding Batman asked him "Do you bleed?" as a throwback to Batman saying it to Superman in BvS. So when Batman is on the ground he says something along the lines of "Yea something is definitely bleeding"
PyerceLAX But what was the point in Superman saying that? Is it showing that he remembers his confrontation with Batman? If so it makes the scene kinda stupid because why the hell would he be fighting then then
Brando seemed like he only remembered the bad parts
The movie was a step in the right direction, but it felt rushed and I never felt the real scope of the danger. None the less I felt that the team had great chemistry and most of the jokes landed.
Mad World Productions it was not rush..blame that feeling to wb execs that they cut a lot of scenes that made us feel theres a hole...definetly a snyder cut will show how this movie was meant to be
Cyber Media Yes, but you just sort of agreed with me. The theatrical cut is all I’m considering right now and it felt rushed. I liked the movie don’t get me wrong and weather it was the overall narrative and writing or WB forcing them to cut the movie down a lot it was rushed. Again, I liked the movie. And I just saw it for a second time with a friend who was seeing it for the first time and right when it ended the first thing he said to me was that it felt short and quick.
I believe the (non-biased) critics' dis-like for "BatMan vs. SuperMan" and "Justice League" is Zack Snyder's and (writer) Chris Terio's script/ story-lines, which do not follow/ adhere to the heart of the graphic (comic) book stories.
I predict that Snyder and Terio will not be attached to the next Justice League or SuperMan movies.
[Biased critics, who are Marvel fan-boys, won't be satisfied no matter what the fuck.]
I didn't like BvS. But I really like this.
Same I wasn't a fan of BvS but out of all the DCEU films I liked man of steel, Sucide Squad, Wonder woman and Justice League. Keep this up I'm definitely looking forward for Aquaman, Cyborg, Captain Marvel (Shazam), Nightwing, Batgirl, Justice league dark, Booster Gold and Green lantern corps. Hopefully they do Lobo, Under the red hood, Red hood and the outlaws, Martain manhunter, Teen Titans or young justice, Legion of superheroes and Birds of prey.
My favourite scene was when the justice league tried defeating superman, but then he took them all down, especially when the flash came along, and also when superman told batman "tell me do you bleed?" 😲😲😲
Superman :Tell me. Do you bleed
WWWWWOOOOOOAAAAAAAAHHHHHH
Something's definitely bleeding.
Pure awesomeness!!!
Anurag Shobhan I knew he was about to say that when he was talking to Batman.
Dark Phoenix Same here!!! Goosebumps ahahahaha
I loved that line. A total "payback's a you-know-what" moment. Clark's a real savage when he wants to be.
I literally just watched half of this video thinking that this was spoiler talk for syndercut justice league 😂😂😂
Didn't notice the beard?
Seeing humans team up with Atlantians, Lanterns, Amazonians, and ZUES was badass.
GdizHD but like Thor dark world opening scene we need MOOOOORE! haha
Agreed
ekulerudamuru Lol
It's spelled 'Zeus'
THEORY:The kid interviewing Supes on the opening scene was Billy Batson
Billy was shot by terrorists in BvS
That's Jimmy Olsen
Luis Sevilla hope it was
kinda like how they made the kid from iron man 2 into spiderman
Well Captain Marvel is getting a movie
"That was some good man bush"
-Jeremy Jahns, 2017
Jakob Kolness I would like this comment but nah
I dont agree with people saying "flash stole the show" or " aquaman stole the show". Imo superman stole the show and was ultra basass.
Kartik Vishnoi
Definitely
Flash was the most relatable character. But yeah, Superman finally felt like Superman...
He likes Justice.
Kartik Vishnoi WTF the flash was a pure cringe fest
Kartik Vishnoi Aquaman was bad, maybe it's just Jason can't act for shit
I had so many OH SHIIIIIT moments! I NEED a director's cut, i would love that! It was a bit too short for me
-Green Lantern
-Doomsday clock reference
-Darkseid's name came up
-"Gorilla Language"
-Tha wales when Aquaman swam to Atlantis (which was a reference towards the wales that saved Clark in MoS (which Jason Momoa also confirmed btw))
haha they don't get excited by the "Doomsday clock" reference. Watchmen are now part of the DC comics universe but dont expect a film crossover with them. that would kill them to be honest
When was the Doomsday Clock referenced?
I think Bruce commented that humanity thinks the Doomsday Clock has a snooze button.
Blame WB for that. Apparently they gave the order to cut it down to 2 hrs.
Yeah I guess DC got sick of the length of BVS and MOS that for this, the movie that needed to be long was rushed. Such a shame
Aquaman accidentally sitting on lasso was definitely the funniest scene in the movie.
SirOrdo dude it so was. I️ loved that scene xD
Straight out of New 52 JL (except then it was Green Lantern, but the dialogue is eerily similar)
Yes it is
This was a fun movie, not especially great but definitely a good time.
LOVED the oldschool animated themes they used for Batman and Superman throughout the film
Animated THEMES FTW.............. The beginning shot with Batman on the Gargoyle and the Ending scene with Superman in his ICONIC AS FUCK reveal when he rips open the shirt to reveal the S underneath............................... MAN I WAAS GEEKING THE FUCK OUT......... GOOD TIMES !!!
TheBlackLink though I don't like the movie you make a valid point it is enjoyable. but it's the same cobbled together mess as bvs
TheBlackInk
Also a good analogy of Spider-Man Homecoming
"This was a fun movie, not especially great but definitely a good time"
just sayin
Daniel Wood Spiderman homecoming was a great film with a great villain this had none of that lol I can't even name one good moment in JL
there were several definitely good moments, but they are just dramatically overshadowed by all the flaws
Superman has Batman by the neck and he asks him: Tell me.... Do you bleed? Then Lois shows up, he throws Batman away and they leave, then the camera turns ti Batman lying on the ground and he says: Yep, something is defenetly bleeding.
honestly i don't really like that part, it's just unlike batman to say that kind of stuff
Doctor Doom i still think JL is better than previous dc movies tho, it's just the batman making jokes that bugs me
Yeah I didn't think the film needed that
I mean is it?
Even before Whedon jumped in to helm it, the teasers and trailers has shown Batman being slightly more lighthearted. I feel like that's more about backlash and the execs going "make the film lighter because most of the complaints are about us being too dark".
Yeah that felt out of character. Batman would say something like, "go get on with it". That was Josh not zack for sure. I had a really good time watching JL. I don't know what more people wanted. I wanted to see the full movie, this has been trimmed down a lot.
I was pleasantly surprised by Justice League and I'm pleasantly suprised by this comment section. You guys seem to be having fun talking about this movie and what it did well and badly without hurling insults at the movie, the crew or each other. This is a breath of fresh air
DougForYou Ikr lol
It's great to see peace here 😊😊😊
DougForYou thank you 😂 I thought the same thing. I just think it needed about 15-20 more minutes for characters and to make steppenwolf a little more menacing, but other than that I enjoyed the movie a lot. Can't wait to see it again in the extended edition.
Honestly! Feels amazing! 🔥
The negatives in my opinion is the pacing of the movie. It feels like it's been trimmed down a lot. Why would you do that WB. I'm so eagerly waiting for the extended cut. The characters are so on point.
परिक्षित पोखरेल exactly
I want to see Justice League a second time JUST for that moment when Superman looks at the Flash...
Danny Legend me too
Yah me too
yeah same here. Superman looked like a real menace at that point and watching him take swings at the flash was pretty dope.
Danny Legend same
Yah me too but am lazy am gonna wait for that pirated link
The big battle scene with the Amazons, Atlantians, and the other heroes against the army of Apocalypse was a total Lord of the Rings moment for me. And the scene when they split up the mother boxes, I had the same feeling too.... 1 mother box was given to the race of men who above all else desire power.
The Motherbox thing was the EXACT same story as LotR ;)
john78tv don't ever fucking compare lotr to this pile of trash
It was super old school, very mythological
You’ll love the Snyder cut, because it’s going to be WAY longer
Best scene of the film. BY FAR. When superman is resurrected and looks at Barry while he’s running fast. BY FAR
TheBigKing0 thats the only part you appreciate?
TheBigKing0 Correct! That got me, too. Like, "whutttt???" Same reaction as Barry
So I guess you have not watched X-Men Apocalypse where the same scene happened between Apocalypse and Quicksilver.
TheBigKing0 the whole cinema iam in was laughing at that scene hahah
if i was barry i be shitting my pants !! And you are right my man, that is one hell of a cool scene
Are we all just gonna forget about the scene in the trailer when Alfred looks up and says "they said youd come"
Your comment should get at least 100 likes.
the scene was cut :(
That scene, like 50 other scenes, was unfortunately cut.
Was hoping that was an introduction to supergirl or a lantern, but must have been superman asking where Bruce was headed, would’ve been cut due to the 2 hour limit they put on it 😡
It was Wonder Woman
I️ did like the little green lanterns teaser when we got the Steppenwolf flashback.
insert deadpool insults
That whole flash back part was awesome, but I wish they showed it in a better way, maybe at the start of the film
Same! I hope they make a better Green Lanturn film. I'd like to see John Stewart.
I agree! I was watching it last night & could hear people yell out yes! Lets see what they do next with Green Lantern in the next movie
Shazam was there too
the contrast between this review and Zack Snyder's JL review, this is why we fought for it, and we got it
well done everyone... Zack got his wish to finish his vision and we got the chance to enjoy the real version of the movie
Best scenes:
1)Superman vs JL (Do you bleed v2)
2)Lotr style flashback with Steppenwolf vs Atlanteans, Amazons, Human Tribes, Green Lanterns
3)Aquaman lasso of truth accident
4)Lets race to the Pacific!
jrscientist87 AND FREAKING DEATHSTROKE
I liked this movie. It didn't have an important message or anything, but the character interactions were cool IMO.
I think the theme of the movie was about not being afraid who we are and accepting ourselves. Making the best of it. That's pretty cool to me.
I enjoyed the movie. It's nothing spectacular
No it definitely had a theme which was all about teamwork, which all of these characters have either never or never wanted to work together. They embraced this and became better because of it.
Whats sad is that WB/DC cannot make a critically acclaim smash hit/slam dunk with these characters (who are instantly recognizable the whole world over), when Disney/Marvel can create a movie with such high marks from both fans AND critics in which supporting characters include a talking raccoon and a walking tree.
Nater Good movie.
I love how Superman beat up steppenwolf with little to no effort.
RNDS 24 Because WW destroyed his Axe!!!
RNDS 24 he had the ICE BREATH 😭😭
IKR finally!!!
Well steppenwolf is pretty much a push over and has been used as a stepping stone to darseid. I think it was good they focused more on not nerfing super man and having a ok villain and working on character development
make sense, probably the very first time he puch someone without hesitation ahahahaha, i love it
"... or did you learn it in what I'm going to call the Snyder cut"
+1 in foreshadowing
I'm fairly certain this video was the first time I'd ever heard the term "Snyder cut".
Favorite part: Barry using the marker on the guy’s face and all the action in it.
Least favorite: The rushed Superman arc.
Otherwise, loved the movie and had a lot of fun.
I was shocked when I saw the Rotten Tomatoes score. I saw the movie last night and purposefully didn't read any reviews online, I didn't watch your review until after I saw it, so I could be unbiased and surprised going into the movie! And it was a fun movie, and it made me enjoy these characters and look forward to what's coming up for them!
I was shocked also. I saw it last night in a full theatre & at the end people clapped. I was confused at first because I haven't heard people clap in a theatre after a movie in a long time. Then I get home look up the score only to see 37% with some of the critic reviews & I think did we see the same movie? Yes the pacing was off and there are some bad jokes plus odd editing but it was a good movie. I think the biggest mistake, besides CGI mustache issues, was WB saying it has to be 2 hours or less. I cant wait to see the uncut original version on bluray. When I saw BvS in theatre I thought damn this is shit...saw the ultimate edition and it worked out much better.
I’m not shocked but just disappointed
I think Warner Bros. cuts the theatrical movie like that because, if they release an extended version on Blu-Ray more people will buy them and it'll raise Blu-Ray/DVD sales.
Matt Mamba - I agree with u 100%. I can't believe it received such a low score. I really enjoyed the movie & cannot wait for the next one. The next one will not have Zack Snyder's involvement at all so maybe the critics will be kinder once that happens (if that is what has them in a tizzy).
I don't usually fret with aggregate scores but in this case it's just flat out ridiculous. The pro critics are just projecting if you asking me.
Jeremy your spoiler talk videos are the best
Edward Sanchez Productions what this guy said.
I fully don’t expect you to message me, I guess if I was getting 20 or 30 messages a day from people I wouldn’t have to. Unfortunately real, honest guys like me often get passed over because we don’t stand out among the hundreds on here trying to find a date by auto-blasting e-mails they have stored up on a hard drive. But if you’re one of the few that are reading this to actually meet someone you like
Vegeta Solo i like to massage pussys
Vegeta Solo Did you just come from a dating site before coming here?
i still profess Jeremy was the 1st person to bring about the " Snyder cut "" title
This movie needed to be 20 - 25 minutes longer
Yea I knw, but that was a bad corporate call on their behalf. The story would have been better if more time was given to the characters to develop their arks and maybe one more action set piece.
a random dude Because they wanted more money.
Agreed completely
I read some of the reviews of rotten tomatoes and I was extremely upset all these critics had it in their mind's that the movie was going to be bad and nothing was going to change their minds. I'm not a fan of all the DCU movies but this one was actually really entertaining and a lot of fun these critics just need to stop trying to sabotage this movie and judge it for its entertainment value and not some agenda.
Hungry Lion Politics I respect your comment. Well said !
The entertainment value isn’t the problem, I guess since everyone in my theater were laughing at the jokes even if I wasn’t. Lol. I’m not a big fan of forced humor and goofy jokes. This is probably why I love Man of Steel and BvS. The fast pacing of the story in the beginning which showed that it was obvious that a lot of scenes were cut out and some of the CGI are probably what the professional critics saw. The flaws in this movie shouldn’t have made it get as many negative reviews as it did though since Justice League gave us, as in general audience even if they doesn’t include me, that fun, entertaining light hearted film. I was expecting at least a 50% Rotten Tomato’s score so it was a half and half, mixed bag.
I'm not a critic. I watched this movies and I honestly think it was worst than BvS and Suicide squad. Ragnarok another superhero movie I watched was a million million times better. This was Too fast paced no character development, your average basic bad guy that literally has no purpose other than to be the bad guy. He reminded me of Surtur the big lava monster in Ragnarok that destroyed Asgard, but the difference is "the basic bad guy" surtur wasn't the main villain in that movie, Hela was who had a legitimate purpose to fight and be the villain , but "the basic bad guy" Steppenwolf was just too lame and felt like the annoying boss at the end of a video game. IDK why it's so hard for people to admit when a movie is bad, compared to what's out there it was honestly a badly made movie.
I don't think it's the entertainment value that's the problem. There were a few genuinely fun scenes. The problem is that at the end the movie seems very cobbled together? Like it was just scenes placed side-by-side without telling a cohesive story or getting you invested? The backstory of the characters that were new to the DCU were ridiculously short and didn't sell the characters. The villain was...pointless in the sense that it honestly didn't come off as being very high stakes despite the fact that the boxes were supposed to destroy the world? I think there was a lot of interest and hope post-Wonder Woman and the movie went so below delivering on that, that the critics were just done. In a market that has SO many super hero movies (from all of the productions companies, not just the whole Marvel v. DCU) you can't have a movie that's this much of a story-telling mess.
Hungry Lion Politics the movie is nothing special. Its fine. Not terrible not great. Rotten tomatoes is usually accurate but i think that the current score it has is too low
I fucking loved Superman. He sucked in BvS, but he was classic Superman here.
He was the highlight of the movie for me. Freaking love that guy.
The Comicologist I’ve never been a huge Superman fan, but this is the first time I’ve preferred to see him over Batman, Clark was the highlight of the film, he was like Christopher Reeve 2.0 here
I think they should have a Man of Steal 2, but just call it Superman. And have that version of him for a whole movie.
The sad part is Batman was awesome in BvS and superman wasn't. But now Superman was great and Batman wasn't in JL.
Or Man of Tomorrow
We shall compare this one to the Snyder cut
So what you think?
I loved JL. Seeing Superman back was amazing.
Tim Drake the best superman portrayal of him yet
Joss Whedon fixed everything Zach Snyder screwed up with Superman
My god, give Zack Snyder a break. The dude already stepped down.
Why? He’s a shit director who ruined DC movies by having shit casting (outside of Henry Cavill, Batfleck, and Gal Gadot), shit color palette, shit scripts, and shit mood in his movies....JASON MAMOA SHOULDVE BEEN LOBO!!!!!!!
@Christopher Nyman
He's not a shit director, he's good at directing. It's his writing that needs work.
SPOILER
Easily my favorite scene, that I felt was overlooked a bit, was between Superman and Cyborg. When Superman is getting ready to pull apart the mother boxes and he tells Cyborg something like "I hope this doesn't kill me, I like being alive." and Cyborg looks at him with this realization on his face and replies "Me too." Which I think is a really good heartfelt moment for Cyborg who before sounded like he wish he hadn't survived the explosion at all.
Justin Baker agreed. I noticed that too since Cyborg was struggling with being alive as part man/part machine. It’s quite depressing when you think about it. Did you see how Barry was looking at Victor when he first saw him? Lol
Exactly! And you know that's how most people would react to seeing cyborg lol. It definitely makes me excited for a Cyborg solo movie. I didn't know the actor before this but he seems like a good fit to play him.
BOOYAH..!😃
Amien Fadhillah That got a nice cheer from my crowd. They really did right by Cyborg in that movie imo.
Adam White Ray Fisher success to answer the hesitation surrounding him in a cool way
They got all these characters right and that BOOYA part!!!!
I was lucky to be in a crowd of DC fans and good ol' movie fans. They reacted well during moments not in trailers, and surprisingly well with moments already spoiled in trailers.
My theatre was dead silent at that part smh
Did you invent the term Snyder Cut?
Deathstroke looked so good
Josh the Comic fan I fucking lost it when they showed him😀😀
Michael Nelson I lost it in my head lol
Agreed, he looked just like Slade!
Constructive Historian ok dude no one cares what you think
Constructive Historian piss off
I just wished this movie was longer... I liked the movie alot but you could tell it need at least extra 15 minutes
angel chang about 45 minutes was cut due to WB saying it needed to be 2 hours or less.
I hope there will be an Extended Edition.
Kal- El Yes I heard but didn't know it was true till I saw the movie... 45 minutes is almost a whole 3rd of the movie plus 10 minutes of credits count for the runtime :/ glad we got end credit scenes :)
I wish they cut the actions a little because some of them are just too long and add a little more time to the new heroes developments.
Yeah, as much as BvS was a drag in their 2,5 hours, this one could use additional 10-20 minutes to expand on some scenes.
I was honestly pleasantly surprised. I didn't love it, but I liked it. The plot was really basic and some moments didn't work, but most of it worked fine. I did love a few moments but I especially loved the movie's opening with Clark and I really liked a lot of Flash's moments.
I think it's tied with Wonder Woman for 2nd place in DCEU films (Man of Steel is my favorite).
Yes! Someone else who likes Man Of Steel!!
After Superman asked Batman "Do you bleed?" and the tosses him to see Lois and flies away, Batman saying "Yup, something's definitely bleeding" made everyone in the cinema laugh out loud.
Overall, an uneven film, but I enjoyed it and definitely a step in the right direction.
TrulyMad agreed. I’m surprised that I found myself laughing lol Comedy is either hit or miss with me
Theory: the unknown language in Cyborg's head is the language of fish.
hahahahaha!
The flash/Superman eyeball scene was the best part of the movie for me
Man.
Considering DC has one of the best storylines and writing.
How on earth did they screw this up.
Thank WB for ruining it. But thank fuck for the Snyder Cut next year.
When the motherbox turns the apokolips things into beautiful flowers must be a reference to new genesis, the “good” versions of darkseid and his army
yup. I hope we do get the New Gods, at least Orion and Mr Miracle. obviously Darkseid is going to be the endgame
Justice League: The opening of the film is definitely shot by Zack Snyder was so beautiful
*First Act* was so epic and awesome, it have good story build up.
*Second Act* were abit rushed, when superman showed up, its the money shot...AWESOME, the badass-est
*Third Act* JL vs Steppenwolf, the action was awesome, superman make steppenwolf looks like a mad alien boi
Pros: Fun, Awesome, Action Packed, the moment when Superman fight WW,Cyborg, Aquaman, Flash and Batman is EPIC
Cons: too rushed, more snyder scenes were cut, batman is way too light (Joss Whedon touch)
*WE GET TO SEE THE SUPERMAN THE WORLD DESERVE*
Agree 1000% with the Batman comment. We were spoiled in BvS with the tough guy, hard bodied, blood thirsty Batman, and here we got the opposite. But yet, somehow it still worked
Maybe he toned down because he felt that Superman would want him to become more lighthearted ?
I honestly prefer if snyder had less of a role on this film. I wish Geoff Johns had a bigger role in this film, like producer or something that put snyder's vision in the right direction
domagoj905 He realized he made a mistake with Superman. He should have forgiven him for the Black Zero event and he nearly became exactly like the man who killed his parents because he wouldn't let go of his rage. He resolved to give the others a chance he should have given Superman. "I failed him in life. I won't fail him in death." That's why he's more optimistic and plays well with the others.
steppenwolf has a line mentioning Darkseid
I loved Batman and Wonder Woman scenes together.
El Cucuy 😏... no.
Brendan O'Brien i thought their was sexual tension when when gals gave ben a massage lol
i dig it
One of my favorite parts is Flash speeding to help Wonder Women, and pushing her sword to her in mid air as she is falling
I love when Superman says ... Tell me do you bleed..
Aman kashyap yeah i love that part too
lol the people in my theatre are like "woooo"
TheEquilibrum007 same here
At that part I was like 0__0 “OOOOHHH”
MAN the way he says it, with the bones cracking in the background!
Pet Cemetery
Yep it's pet semetery.
Richie Kongwang yep lol
Lol a Stephen King novel
Pet Sematary
Perverted Liberals why would you despise homosexuals and people from the LGBT community? Are you still stuck in the 1950s?
I loved it from beginning to end . No idea what people are nitpicking about with the tone and cgi... too busy enjoying what I thought was a great movie. I'm very excited to see Aquaman's solo movie, flash was fun, cyborg was done surprisingly well and superman was actually smiling! Very fun movie 10/10 for me.
Shaneo0ooMac You. I like you.
non-brooding superman made me happy too :)
This is a excellent movie.
10/10, No, 7 at best, it was fun and definitely a good blockbuster but it was no masterpiece.
Yeah this movie deserves a 70% on Rotten Tomatoes at least.
Totally agree but I gave it an 8/10 👌
The movie was good , but I really thought that superman would come back to life on his own. End BvS the mud rising
Finally people aren't shocked when I say I like this movie.
The movie was complete shit.
@@TonyG8992 true
Yh it’s slightly incoherent st times I won’t deny but
This movie was utter garbage
As much as I prefer Marvel over DC, I can't help but feel that a lot of the negative reviews are from bias people who do prefer Marvel and are still sour about Batman vs Superman as well as Suicide Squad that they just can't seem to shake their personal vendetta against the DCU.
Bullshit. Where were those negative reviews when Wonder Woman was released?
Only DC fanboys think like you. Starting out with a sentence like "As much as I prefer Marvel over DC" won't fool me.
Both companies produce on average shitty movies. The only reason marvel is more popular is because the movies came out first and they focus on comedy. So when there movies are shitty people still jerk them off because they had funny scenes.
This movie was very.. ok? It just.. wasn't that great. A lot of character issues, pacing was way too fast, not enough time on emotional moments.
The whole.. flash v superman moment was cool, but inaccurate.
Why is Snyder still directing this.
Why was the cgi so fucking awful at moments, and amazing in others?
They fucknuggeted Flash's story with.. the entire movie😂
i had an amazing time watching this movie. The ratings have been too harsh in my opinion. The movie is kinda rushed, i don't know why WB did that. That didn't troubled me much though, i'll definitely watch the director's cut. The cast is on point. The characters interaction was very good. All in all its a good movie.
How to fix it: don't have Zack Snyder direct. It's that simple.
It's like having M. Night Shyamalan direct all of your Avatar: The Last Airbender movies and then complaining that people are just biased towards anime.
37% is honestly a joke. I saw it today and it was miles better than BVS. Critics complain about the bland villian have they seen some of the disposal Marvel villians. Smh
MrRoccoandhunter exaaactly
MrRoccoandhunter Ikr Man lol
I love both universes but i'm seeing some hatred to Snyder
All reviews of MCU movies pick up on the sketchy villains.
Renan Santos I'm a DC fanboy but even I acknowledge the fact that BVS and suicide squad sucked. This movie was really fun and enjoyable it should easily be above 50%. I mean wtf 37% really?
yeap, at least steppenwolf REALLYYYY hard to kill, shit that guy is a tank
I know Warner Bros wanted the film shorter so they could have more show times in theaters, but I hope they have an extended cut on the home media releases because it would improve the film just that much more.
Saw the movie today it was definitely enjoyable and fun. The characters hold this movie together. It felt rushed due to the cuts (WB 🖕) so I hope the extended cut will be more fluid. Still 7/10
Couldn't agree more
Yeah, It had some cuts and bruises but overall it was a good, entertaining movie.
I give 4/10. The way Superman came back was bad. Too much was cut out. I hate the cgi on Henry Cavill’s face. I loved suicide squad bvs and mos. This just wasn’t as good as the others.
iamhappyso PSN Funny, I prefer this one over the others. But I agree, the way Superman came back was a little bit awkward and I would have liked if he had spent some quality time with the team before fighting besides them.
SNGaming the movie fucking sucks it wasn't fucking enjoyable get the fuck out of here
I’ve agreed with the critics more or less on every DCEU movie until now. I feel they’re just straight up WRONG about this one. It was exactly what it had to be. A bonding experience for the team.
Who else geeked the fuck out when flash was trynna help the other members from superman ... then superman looked at him like nah... I see you. 👀⚡️
Blind Owl me too lol
Meeeeeee
that moment was so so so satisfyingly good!
Exactly the same scene was in X Men: Apocalypse when Apocalypse did the same thing with Quicksilver, so nothing new here.
Justice League was a great movie! It wasn't over the top awesome in my opinion but it's definitely worth seeing. The characters had a great chemistry with each other. And it did feel rushed and clumped together because they did have a deadline due to Snyder having to leave the film. But I didn't care about that, it got the point. And in regards to Steppenwolf if you think about it he's a throwaway villain because the real villain is Darkseid. Think about it in the first Avengers wasn't Loki the throwaway villain? Because who's the real villain that everyone is anticipating? Thanos
EnterpriseB80 how do you have I million subscribers
the difference was loki was actually cool steppenwolf is just lame
Loki is cool bad ass and likeable, Steppenwolf was just bland and not a villain to get behind. Now Deathstroke is a badass vilian to like
The issue with the Loki comparison was that Loki stood well on his own as a villain and Steppenwolf was a mess.
Superman: "How did you get the house back from the bank?"
Bruce: "I bought the bank."
That superman rebirth scene was so good.
Guys I seriously really liked this movie!
I lost my shit when that green latern showed up for like 3 seconds because good god did he look awesome !
I geeked out when Cyborg said, Booyah.
This comment did not age well
@@TitanSSSigma i disagree
Definitely didn't age well now lmao
I kinda wished it happened cause... why not?
When Superman is revived - "Tell me Bruce, do you bleed?" That part was amazing.
I wonder where that scene with Alfred saying "Let's HOPE you're not too late" went
Liam Salazar They cut it unfortunately smh
Alfred gave Superman his suit.
Critics hated it
Audiences loved it
That's a 10/10 for me.
Sekibanter I never pay attention to the critics, most of the time they're negative.
I was in the audience and didn't love it. Thought it was below mediocre to be honest.
Justpastawesome Oh well, the movie wasn't for you then. For us that did enjoy it, that's a big bonus.
For anyone who enjoys a movie that's always a good thing. I just wanted to disprove the false narrative being spread that Justice League is a film critics hate and audiences love. Some people may enjoy it but most of my friends who've seen it didn't find it a worthwhile watch.
The dynamic chemistry between them was amazing. I was geeking out when Superman joined the League along with his first encounter with them. I loved seeing The Flash and Superman race each other at the end. Superman's joke to The Flash was hilarious! Deathstroke's cameo was awesome as well.
My Man
Booyah!
I lost my shit when SPOILER A Green Lantern showed up on screen. Also was the dude int he same scene with lightning Zeus? or an older Shazam?
Greenkidd young shazam may be
May have been Black Adam
Zeus.. It was mentioned in the credits
I think it was Zeus as each god they showed were of the representation of shazams power set.
It was Zeus. When the credits rolled through it said Zeus. Dont remeber the actors name. But no Shazam.
I loved the movie sooooo much..it felt straight outta comic book....
So why not just read the comic? JL failed in every sense as a movie. I''m glad you liked it though.
Rohit Satralkar Same here! I have no clue why it gets all the hate that it does
It felt like I was watching Bruce timms justice league cartoon and I loved it.
Anyone here after watching the Snyder Cut? XD
After watching the movie, I can now see that most of those rotten tomatoes reviews are just a bunch of people talking out of their ass. They critisize the movie for things that they praise marvel movies for. There definitely is a bias.
NSTAM 27 Agreed
truth spoken.
Lmaoooooo
So true! I'm sure of the millions of people that actually watch the movie only a tiny fraction of them actually take the time to review it. yet so bias. I guess that what the internet is for
Spoken like a fan boy
wouldn't a fake mustache be cheaper than cg no mustache?
Jonathan Lanoy good question. Ask Sony, or Paramount, who ever haha. I read they wouldnt allow Henry to shave
Jonathan Lanoy he had a contract with another show and he had to keep his mustache
if i'm warner i wont ever forget this
WB was willing to pay for a CG mustache in MI6. Paramount said no fucking way.
I plan to remember such things when Paramount wants my money again. Also, maybe at that point WB should’ve delayed the movie to March to allow for clean reshoots.
actually, not even a CG mustache, just a regular fake stick on one!
Ill hope for the Legion of Doom, as 1) I loved that group and 2) I want someone to joke about the cheesy music the 80's cartoon music had on Super friends....
meanwhile ...........
I love every scene with aquaman he’s just my favorite character in the film he’s so badass, but also any scene with superman was awesome too
It really is great too see so many comments about the movie that are positive. Tonight I'll be watching it and I will be like that little boy with the red sheet once again. 😆
The Phantom did you love it? 😃
Actually I did. Watched it twice now :)
Can Anyone please tell me who was alfred talking to in justice league trailer? i was hoping green lantern to show up. But the scene is not in the movie.
Anuj Uikey lets wait for the ultimate edition in about 3 months. It will be almost 3 hours long
Anuj Uikey idk maybe he was talking to supes only, he might have gone there to ask Alfred where all the shit was going down.
its lois
Anuj Uikey superman came to the batcave to get his suit back. Batman knew it, and told alfred that supes would come back
I think that was Lois ...
I freaking love this one, (fuck RT), Superman scenes are my favorites, glad to see they give Henry the chance to show that he can do a proper old fashion good Supes, really hype to see if they do for JL2 the Legion of Doom or the Injustice League, what ever they do, I punk to see it.
I loved Superman in this film. It actually felt like Superman and the colour in his suit was just glorious. That has to have been Whedon's work becasue it was just a million miles away from Snyder's Superman.
Not gonna lie,I was smiling after seeing his Superman laughing hearfeltly while cracking a joke.I didn't know what to think of that, but It felt so good to see his character much more lively *Puns?*!
Kusanagikaiser999 all the last 5 min of the movie he's in?
Kusanagikaiser999, was does RT have do to with movie rating? It`s only an aggregate of all critics reviews. A lot people write shitty things without knowing what they`re talking about.
Rotten tomatoes average DC score: 67%
Rotten tomatoes average Marvel score: 64%
SO THERE!! HA!
you can tell Ben Afleck does not want to be there
Even blind people could tell
I’ve seen Justice league and it honestly doesn’t deserve its 37% rating on rotten tomatoes
Lebron Wade Ikr
It's so cool, man i felt like watching the cartoon 😊😊😊😊
Lebron Wade I wholeheartedly agree!
Justice League is AWESOME 🎶🤗
I had low but hopeful expectations going in and left surprisingly more than satisfied. I generally leave the Avengers/X-Men teamup movies satisfied and happily waiting a couple of years until the next one. I left Justice League extremely satisfied and wanting more as soon as possible- definitely ready for the next one!
Snyder’s brilliant direction with Terrio’s amazing writing and Whedon’s awesome contributions made for a sweet blend.
😀😃😄😁
You gotta add a lot of superhero fatigue into the rating.
Amen, I think it should be 65%. They went too harsh on the story and the villain criticism which is found in MCU movies?
Renan Santos It SHOULD BE LIKE CARTOON. CAUSE DC ANIMATED IS KINDA GOOD.
As someone who hates man of steel B v S and suicide squad this movie was class and much improved. Something dceu needed
Sam T I liked Man of Steel and BvS but Sucide Sqaud was garbage and pointless.
There are four things I hate about the movie.
It’s cheesy at some points
Awful one-liners
Super cliche movie plot
Everything was rushed
However, overall the movie was pretty good
Alex Prieto that one made the most sense cause that's actually his catchphrase
As someone who watches the Flash CW show, I loved that they put that theme song in ever so slightly whenever Flash went slow mo. It was a nice touch.
I just watched JL and it was amazing. The ending and the two post credit scenes were gold.
I forgot he had the mustache... didn’t bother me at all
Same.
I might be insane.
But. I really didn't even notice it.
Then again i haven't seen it in like a year
The movie was a solid 7.5. The best: all Justice League characters, Superman on top. The worst: Steppenwolf and the way they resurrected Superman. That was dumb. They had a lot of good material such as the codex implanted in his genes.
You're the writer: How would your resurrection scene look like using the codex?
N S so let me get this straight using a mother box which was proven to already be able to revive is dumber than magically knowing he's in a healing coma and needs sunlight
It was a lazy revive for such a complex subject. They just fart him out of his coffin with that stupid motherbox. That was ridiculous and disrespectful. Superman deserved a better, more emotional and carefully crafted storyline.
Favorite part: Superman being able to keep up with Flash, complete with the "Oh crap!" look on Flash's face when he first notices this. Plus, when Superman lands at the memorial and the four superpowered heroes immediately show up to confront him. It's funny because after they fight for a bit, Batman (who presumably had to run there on his own two feet) *finally* shows up near the end of the fight.
Also, loved the Flash/Cyborg fist bump at the end of the movie.
My Favorite Part Was the Whole Movie. ..seriously
My only real complaint's that It was too short.I really hope we'll get to see the extended cut. That's what It should have been from the start!
I could see this movie being amazing if they had a Batman movie, an Aquaman movie, a cyborg movie, and a flash movie come out before this so they didn’t have to set up almost every character, the villain, and the main plot of the villain. If they did the stand alones first then they could’ve included one of each of the cubes in their respective movies (Wonder Woman, cyborg, and aquaman)
Pa!n737 true but honestly if they would’ve done that a lot of people would’ve prolly complained that they are just copying marvel and doing what marvel did with infinity stones and have motherboxes in each movie. but yea I do agree that this movie would’ve been a whole lot better if all the characters had their own movies first then they could’ve just focused on the main plot of justice league and not have to set everything up for the first 45 minutes
Why the fuck would we get a Cyborg movie? That would suck
Come on everyone knows their back stories.
100% agree, the movie was extremely rushed and didn't have time for any set up. The team was just formed right away without any sort of backstory. To be fair it's not their fault, whoever said the movie had to be under 20 min ruined it. Imagine how much it could have benefited from 20 extra min.
The Comicologist that Will happen so...
