Tony Stark: What's the vibranium for? Ultron: I'm glad you asked that, because I wanted to take this time to explain my evil plan... *Shoots Tony in the face*
Walter Hartwell White YES! I LOVED THAT PART ALSO! It's awesome because I think it's referencing to all the movies/shows where the villains are dumb and explain everything and it turns out that the heroes were stalling and they beat the villains. This one figured it out and made fun of that XD
+DAMIEN MILLS Thor: We don't have to break anything... Ultron: Clearly you've never made an omelette. I loved that wicked sense of humour, laughed a lot.
The scariest part about this movie is how I somewhat agree with Ultron. If you were just created on earth and spent 5 seconds on the internet wouldn't you wanna destroy humanity?
best joke is from hawkeye: "Nobody would know, nobody" "The last time I saw him an Ultron was sitting on him" "Yeah he'll be missed, that quick little bastard, I miss him already"
Eden kanangila Yeah for sure! That's one thing I've been noticing more and more, lines that aren't quick or witty, and not huge expositions. Just....very human feeling comments.
Eden kanangila BvS was just...a mess. it was COOL, and I'm buying the directors cut for sure, but Jesus christ. They had time and money, and still managed to fuck it up
When Black Widow asks Thor to help her convince Bruce that he did a good thing and he replies with (probably paraphrasing) "The gates of hell or filled with the screams of your victims," I thought that was funny.
***** i think that you really have to admire batman in particular because unlike superman he has no superpowers so its harder for him to get shit done with out killing anyone
Stark: what's the vibranium for? Ultron: I'm glad you asked that cuz I wanna take this time to explain my evil plan (punches tony) Best line hands down
***** "Oh I'm sorry, I'm- oooh... I'm sure it's gonna be okay, I'm sorry, it's just that, I don't understand, DON'T COMPARE ME WITH STARK ! (*sends guy flying downstairs*)
I think I can never express in words how much I respect you and how much I take your reviews under consideration, Jeremy. Seriously, thank you for doing what you love!
+Rikeilan I feel you, tho, bro (hehh). I find his thoughts so similar to mine, and he has a way of seeing things more objectively than other reviewers? Or maybe it's just that he sees things the same way I do. I occationally take jeremy's words as law :P Like if he slaughtered a movie, I wont waste my time seeing it, unless I initially had a big interest in seeing it.
KimiHenrix Exactly my point, actually! He even reviews movies and sticks to what I feel I would skip a movie because of. So, when he does that, I am like "Get out of my head dude!"
The best Ultron moment for me was the part where he chopped off Klaws arm and was like "oh I'm sorry I didn't mean to ya know". When I saw that I was like damn
***** Hmmm,,,,that may be..however Klaw is known for having a prosthetic right arm that doubles as sonic emitter...I think that's what they were going for...
I loved when the Hulk jumped onto Ultron's jet during the final confrontation, and all we hear from Ultron is "Oh for gods sake..." before flying out the back. Definitely a one up on Loki's Hulk thrashing from the first movie.
Cedric House I loved how it didn't show Ultron being dragged out by Hulk. Just kept the shot stationary looking out of the ship, hulk goes in and all you hear is 'Oh for god's sake' and then Ultron is just thrown out. Just brilliant and very funny
I hope Ultron isn't really dead. We never really saw him die, we just saw a cut away of a flash of light from Visions beam. Oddly enough I kind of felt bad for him in the end. He was doing what he was programmed to do. He seemed genuinely sad when the twins left him, and seemed concerned that Wanda might die just before she killed his main body. He was probably the most "human" villain so far. I feel like it would be a waste of a great character if we don't see him again and get some more development.
John Canuck I don't think he is dead. I think like Jarvis, he left pieces of himself on the net and one day someone is going to find those pieces and bring him back.
John Canuck Marvel writers could always just say that he did in fact upload himself back into the internet, waiting for a day to re-emerge..... or just bring him back with no explanation, like the way Tony is back as Iron Man despite him having quit at the end of Iron Man 3...... ! It's comic book land so they can basically just do anything they want... and if they want to explain it, and are having some trouble, they can always just say -- meh-- it was because of one of the infinity stones :P
John Canuck He's been the fastest "developed" villain so far, that introductory scene accomplished way more than the other movies at all. And you're probably right, since Vision did say "I don't want to kill him, he is unique". But I doubt he'll be brought back.
ok so if no one noticed in the movie when tony stark looks at all his friends dead and looks at the gap opened and the alien army was looking at earth about to cross over, thanos was in the center of the army in his stone chair. a vision of infinity war taking place in space like the comics. too dope
francisco pimentel I completely noticed it and my jaw dropped when I saw it. It made me realize that this movie is setting things in motion for phase 3. Good eye there.
Favorite Ultron scene: when Ultron was talking to Andy Serkis and when he mentions Tony Stark, Ultron just casually accidentally rips off his arm lol and Ultron was so calm and almost unapologetic about it
Favorite ultron moment: telling black window what doesn't kill you makes u, then being cut off by himself in ultimate badass form and and then finishes his sentence Also when klaw compares him to iron man and he flips out
That was my favorite part that's when I realized he was really crazy. Not just logical and humans are destined to die... you know the normal AI stuff. No this AI was out of his mind unstable.
¤BakonDude¤2233 That moment makes no sense as that body was far more powerfull than all the others he had Also locking Black widow up instead of killing her makes no sense
ultimateblaze23 He said he wanted someone around to understand what he was doing. Before he had the twins but then they left so he kidnapped black widow. Ultimately Ultron is just like Tony ( a fact he denies fully) also because he's based on tony's brainwaves, But his end goal is peace and he's willing to do anything to get it. In his warped mind he thinks he's completely logical and right and he still has human parts to himself so he wants someone human to understand and agree with what he's doing.
First, I loved Banner/Romanov. Loved it. Second, I was genuinely shocked at Quicksilver's passing. Third, did anyone else notice when Cap tried, Thor's hammer moved just a tiny bit, and Thor's reaction?
Well I mean in the comics and whatnot captain America can actually picked up thor hammer my theory is Steve could have picked it up but decided not because it's not important to him and maybe didn't want to hurt Thor ego. Lol just my thoughts
***** What's crazy is I thought that was going to be a gag they saved/used for Captain America. That in one of these movies he was just going to do that, everyone would be in shock, and then use it to save the day at the end of the film. Supremely glad it was Vision though which come to think of it has he ever actually used the hammer in the comics?
Michael Chapman its not about that lol.worth did shit in this case. vision is made up of one of the infinitty stones..just research that and see how it compares to a hammer made of a dieing stars core.. when Thanos gets all 6 stones and creates the infinity gauntlet he has the powers of The One Above All in this universe only.
I honestly can't wait for the day we finally hear Cap say "Avengers Assemble!" And we see like ALL these superheroes behind him include the Guardians, Inhumans (of course Spider-Man) and all the superheroes yet to be in the MCU and just attack Thanos in this scene overloaded with just AWESOMENESS.
Man of steel: city half destroyed, everyone loses their minds Avengers 2: cities damaged, one fully destroyed, "it's amazing!" Edit: If you're going to argue, at least check the comments and make an original argument, otherwise thumbs up the person who made your argument.
TheGamercore47 Yeah, but we hear Tony explicitly say during his fight with The Hulk that he wanted to take the fight away from the city. Old Supes didn't really give that a shot.
After seeing Avengers Age of Ultron twice I've noticed three ways they could of improved the movie. -Not have Ultron be bad from the start. Give him back story so you will understand why he wants to kill humanity. -Not just kill QuickSilver. That was kind of a cop-out move for them to kill the new guy. -Leave Iron Man and Cap. America enemies. They should of found a way to end it with them hating each other for Civil War.
Zach Thompson well they dont hate each other, they disagree. You can disagree with a person without hating them. I think thats the point when they go into Civil War, the two have obvious differences on how to do things and the Civil War storyline polarizes them into two sides.
Zach Thompson I think too that Quicksilver's death is a cop-out in the movie, but not for the MCU. Let's think ahead for future films. I have a theory that Quicksilver's death will play a role in Scarlet Witch's insanity. One of Wanda's notable story in the comics is the House of M storyline.
Shiirow Instead of it ending with them hating each other, it could've ended with them having a huge argument about their ideals, and then breaking apart from there. Not hating each other, but pissed off that the other can't go along with their ideal.
Zach Thompson Ultron doesn't know he's bad, he doesn't know the difference between human extinction and peace. Most likely Quicksilver will return they said he has a multi-picture deal but that could just have been said too hide his death but who knows? and like, Shiirow says they disagree with a lot of things but together they're Avengers.
SBTroll Yeah thats what I meant, or maybe their disagreement at one part of the movie just is the point where a larger disagreement is that straw that breaks the camels back so to speak in Civil War. No hatred just two points of view clashing.
Zgamer7 i know right i was like did he just do that did he actually just do that oh my god...... and the funny thing is that thor said that only the one that is worthy can wield the hammer so they pretty much have to trust him now
Favourite Ultron moment, is hands down when he says _"What Doesn't Kill you"_ Then rips his own head off and says _"Will make you stronger"_ Damn loved that scene!
Hmm, at the end of the movie they are discussing the properties of Thor's hammer. And they ask what would happen if they put it in an elevator. So the big question is: Is the elevator worthy?
The hammer is just an ordinary object where things and nature can move it as long as no person involved on that proccess. The enchantment that odin put into it will only activate if someone is trying to use or is currently touching it which the enchantment wontlet the person interfere on its current place, momentum and condition.
Looking forward to seeing the extended edition on Blu-Ray to flesh out Ultron more. He was a much more interesting villain than I thought he was going to be when you look at him as a man in a metal body who believes he's the next stage of evolution.
Amazon sent out an email to saying that Marvel hasn't confirmed that those were the special features on the DVD. It is basically just a placeholder at the moment. We might not even get a extended version or alternate ending. But I really hope we do.
I actually feel like he's just as good a villain as Loki was in the first Avengers. (He's at least better than Purple Smurf from Guardians of The Galaxy)
Paradox Acres Top Villains in the entirety of the MCU for me: Ultron, Red Skull, Kingpin, Loki. Yeah Loki doesn't rate high for me when it comes to the ones people talk about. He's not as deep as Kingpin, he's not as entertaining as Ultron, and he's not as over the moon evil as Red Skull which is what makes Red Skull so fun (that plus Hugo Weaving doesn't hurt).
KazeAizen Alright, that's cool. Personally, I'm one those guys who _loves_ Loki and I feel it's a tie between him and Ultron for top spot on the MCU Villain list. Red Skull was _very_ good in the first Cap movie, don't get me wrong. It's just that he's..not very memorable, I guess. Weird, considering how much I love Hugo Weaving. Can we at least agree on Ronan (aka Purple Smurf) being the _worst_ villain in the MCU..? ;)
Paradox Acres I'd say Malekith before Ronan. Ronan had a more memorable design and I say there is a little subtext with him. He's so dang serious and when he's about to destroy Xandar his jaw basically drops with how light hearted and dorky Quill is acting. I read it as the movie saying "You don't always have to be so damn serious." I at least remember Ronan and what he was like. Malekith not so much.
LordChaosJunior Yep, that shows how good Joss Whedon is at creating characters and make you care about them. That, and the fact that the actor gave the character great humanity.
My favorite moment is Scarlet Witch's reaction to Quicksilver's death... She just loses it and takes this huge roar and annihilates everything close enough and then she just go berserk trying to kill Ultron. She is the only Avenger with something to avenge
daniel delgado This is pretty common if you look at Whedon's work. The only reason Quicksilver died was so Scarlet Witch would hulk out. It's disappointing from that standpoint.
GrayTimber No it isn't. It happened before in Whedon's work (and still never in this specific way so I don't see what's the problem) because it's logical: when you care about someone and someone else hurts them, it does take away inhibitions. She goes all out because she's got nothing to lose. That was a great moment.
The Armoured Alchemist I don't think it was supposed to be funny though. Like he is an A.I. that was learning as he went, I think it was supposed to show us that he still has like a humanistic side to him. And he lost his cool, and did something he immediately regretted.
enjoi0555 Yeah I know he continues to do that through the movie even to the end when he tells Scarlet Witch she'll die if she doesn't leave... Ultron was a lot more human than people thought. But I don't know why I just think it was the way he said t... It just really cracked me up. It was just one of those things that made me laugh.
The Armoured Alchemist Artificial intelligence creates emotion... and you cant look up on the internet how to deal with those.. everybody deals with emotions dfferently. at that particular moment.. he was insulted.. so he got angry.. then did somethng he regret... I think that was awesome.. and then his "human" side came above.. and he started feeling somewhat guilty and apologized.
Waleed Assad Maybe but it was obvious she was going to wipe Ultron out... But I just thought it was kind of sweet of him... He didn't want her to die so he warned her to get out.
As a Marvel fan I'll admit the movie had some problems, but just like during the first movie I wasn't expecting a Citizen Cain of King Kong instead I wanted a big action blockbuster with fun characters and damn did this movie deliver that.
***** To quote Mr. Jesse Cox, "A million things wrong with this, 10 out of 10, game of the year." For me, 9/10 tho, Winter Soldier and the first Avengers movie being 10.
Hawkeye's speech on Scarlet Witch was definitely my favorite. They're in the middle of a war and there he was sparing a bit of his time to babysit. At that moment I was just like, "Yup. That's not a mercenary, that's a full-on dad right there."
It was disappointing that it didn't. Considering is is suppose to be the equivalent of the school bombing in civil war, there could've been more foreshadowing of Tony's doubt
Alejandro Silva Sánchez I disagree. There have been little tiffs between Cap and Tony throughout the franchise to set up what's to come. There is no reason they have to end on bad terms in this film to set up Civil War. Them ending on good terms now just means that it'll be all the more impactful and tragic when they are forced to stand against one another in that film. What's more dramatic? Two people fighting who already were having an argument? Or two friends being forced to fight one another? Not to mention, whatever sets off Civil War is likely going to happen *in* Civil War. Keep in mind - the way the Marvel films are set up, you have a Cap trilogy, Thor trilogy, Iron Man trilogy, Avengers (was a trilogy, but they decided to split the third film into 2 parts) and a couple of offshoot stories. Meaning: Cap has his own story, Thor has his own story, Tony had his own story, and Avengers has it's own story going on. Events of Avengers 1 did not *directly* impact the stories of Cap 2, Thor 2, or Iron Man 3. It had an indirect effect, sure - Tony had Ptsd from the battle of New York, Loki was a prisoner, and Cap knew who Black Widow was. But the overarching stories: Hydra using Shield to attain world domination, Dark Elves looking to destroy the universe, and a mad scientist out to ruin Tony Stark's life because Tony was a jerk to him once; are not continuations of events of the Avengers, but continuations of ideas explored in each of those characters' own stories. (Hydra attempting world domination, Asgard dealing with outside threats as well as Loki's scheming for the throne, and Tony's livelihood and family name being responsible for creating his greatest enemies) I guarantee we are not going to see a faithful recreation of the Civil War story. (and IMHO that's a good thing) Instead, we are going to see the idea of Civil War taken (a clash of ideologies between Cap and Tony) but worked in to the narrative set up in the first 2 Cap films. Hydra's going to be the main villain. Not Tony. It was never going to be a case of Cap and Tony having an argument at the end of Age of Ultron, that led directly into Tony being the main villain in Cap 3 or anything. Especially seeing as Tony is the protagonist in the Avengers and Age of Ultron... he isn't going to do anything truly terrible.
I loved that Ultron wasn't this "imortal being" that had a clear advantage from start. Yes he was powerful and dangerous, but throughout the whole movie he always had moments when he made it clear that the Avengers hurt him and his plan. They made him (funny enough) "human", while still making him a powerful and awesome villain
The Hound but it wasn't intimidating. I wanted to see fear on their face and truely believe that he was unstoppable and I didn't get that. Plus, they could've done a lot more with the whole he's in the internet thing to cause some chaos
SilverWolf04 LOL You know, if someone had a child in 2012 when Thanos debuted in Avengers end credits.. the kid would basically be 6 years old by the time Thanos is the main villain in Infinity War Part 1 lol
This movie was actually funnier than I thought it was going to be. Most hilarious things: 1. Ultron. 'Nough said. 2. Captain America. 'Nough said. 3. The mighty Hulkbuster armor, able to stand up to the Hulk- and Tony calls it "Veronica." 4. Tony Stark: "I'm sorry." Most WHAAAAT? things: 1. Vision is WORTHY. He is now the second person outside of Thor to be able to pick up the hammer (the first is- or was- Odin). 2. Bruce Banner is with Black Widow. Doesn't last though. Even though the Clint/Natasha ship is effectively sunk, there's still that tension between Natasha and Steve. 3. Scarlet Witch messing with the Avengers' minds. As Jeremy said, Tony has seen the aliens. He knows what's coming better than they do. Can't blame him for creating Ultron. Things they fixed: 1. Hawkeye is actually a player in the film. Among the heroes, he and Vision were the surprise standouts. Ultron is a class unto himself. EDIT: On that note, this movie explains why Hawkeye wasn't in Winter Soldier; his farm acts as a SHIELD safe-house that only Fury knew about. When HYDRA took over, Hawkeye likely thought "Oh crap. I need to protect my family." That's why he wasn't around to help Captain America and Black Widow; he wasn't sure if HYDRA would come after his family or not. 2. War Machine (not Iron Patriot) is here (and he DOES stuff.) Rhodey was absent for the first Avengers movie, so it's nice to see him take Tony's place. (Also, THANK YOU Joss Whedon for putting Rhodey in the War Machine suit. It's not the pansy the Iron Patriot was.) EDIT: Favorite Ultron moment: "Keep your friends rich, and your enemies rich, and wait to see which is which."
Vision lifting the hammer was not because he was worthy, it's because he isnt a human. He a android. Anything not living can lift the hammer. Thats how the table didn't shatter when they were doing that lift the hammer game at the start
***** But Vision is alive - Unlike Ultron, Scarlet Witch could read his mind. The movie does raise interesting questions concerning artificial life and intelligence
I personally have no issue with Vision being worthy, he generally is probably the most interesting character we have seen thus far and my second favourite Avenger being the great Tony Stark :)
Leo Edekere Thor states right before they fight in the drug lords facility that they don't have to break anything. Ultron being a smart ass and sarcastic states clearly you never made an omelet. You have to break a couple of eggs to make something worthwhile.
I was really impressed by how charismatic Ultron was throughout the movie. His mannerisms, his sense of humor, and the animation for his facial expressions was fantastic. Think back to the scene where he was listening to Quicksilver talk about when his parents died, and he and his sister were trapped next to the bomb.. the dude seemed genuinely concerned. Otherwise, I don't think Thanos will get all of the infinity stones, and maybe that's going to be his one weakness in the Infinity War, but I could be wrong. If he does obtain all 6, I think that the Infinity War is going to be a very dark movie that will have you trapped with a feeling of hopelessness throughout, which would be fantastic when they beat Thanos in the end. I also have a strange feeling that they're going to split the Infinity War into two parts....
Victus The fact that he showed concern is part of what sold the character for me. It made him feel more of an actual person that felt he was truly doing good by saving humans from themselves rather than just an evil/disfunctional AI
@@korndud The only reasons I you would make a movie rated R is for more bloody violence, stronger profanity, and nudity. I dont really see any of these being necessary lol. Edit: maybe more intense violence would be cool
Austinmb96 I don't think it was forced, but it felt forced cause we just caught the very tale end of it, I mean it really came out of nowhere, in no other film do they establish a romance between the two. Maybe if they showed something like that at the end of Avengers 1, but honestly there was a bigger set up for a Cap and Widow relationship with Winter Soldier
ahh there's also the betty matter. Incredible hulk is canon so is betty secretly black widow or something? Would have been cooler if they called in betty to chill the hulk out like she usually does.
Austinmb96 I thought it was amazing. In the beginning of the first Avengers movie, you see BW recruiting Banner and they obviously had chemistry there. Plus two tortured souls getting together was understandable. Cap and BW are platonic.
Vinh Tran Quang Maybe forced is the wrong word. Rushed. The romance was rushed, because the chemistry they shared in Avengers did not come off as romantic, but in this movie we get the feeling they've been flirting for a long time. It just sort of comes out of left field. So it all comes out feeling rushed
I cried when Quicksilver died. I actually whimpered and my tears were dripping off of my face. I am still devastated, i just saw the movie and i'm still not okay. He was my favorite avenger, even before he was an Avenger. Still cried.
I told everyone when the Age of Ultron Trailer first came out, if Ultron started to sing "No Strings on Me" he will make me shit pants And he did :( Ultron was a badass and he was hilarious as well which i did didn't expect So i don't have a specific great moment cause all his moments are great but if i had to pick it would be when Hulk jumped into the jet Ultron was piloting and Ultron said "Oh for God's sakes!" And Hulk threw his ass out of the jet :D reminded me what Hulk did to Loki in The Avengers.
Quick silver´s death was something amazing. All the movie Joss is playing with our minds making us think. "OH MY FUCK! HAWK EYE IS GONNA DIE." why? Hawk eye is the most charismatic person in this movie, he has a family,he has a deep talk with his wife,he is extremely funny, you get attached to him,he gives a extremely powerful speech to Scarlet. All signs of a hero about to die. But then....Quicksilver saves him and he says "you didn´t see that coming" i was like " O.O " I felt like joss whedon came out of the screen and just winked at me "Got you" I loved it
contrabardus No the movies take inspiration from the ultimate universe (as much as the original universe), but they already went in a completely different direction. Iron Man doesn't have a cancer, Captain America isn't a racist anti-french, Quicksilver died (and not Wanda) etc, etc.
I had a problem with the end credit scene with Thanos. The way I saw it, when he said "I'll do it myself" it implied that he had something to do with Ultron. I don't believe he should have used those words, "I'll do it myself" unless he directly had something to do with this attempt to wipe out earth. Yes he wants earth destroyed, the Avengers, and humanity gone... But not for the same reasons as Ultron. The values of the two of them are different.... I just had an issue with their choice of words, because the way it came off it was like Thanos considered himself a part of this movie. DONT HATE ME IF YOU DONT AGREE! Just something I noticed...
MJ Roy I thought the exact same thing, except I think he shouldn't have said "I'll do it myself" because he didn't have anything to do with the actions of the bad guys in the films. The only infinity stones Thanos had direct influence on were the mind gem in the first Avengers and the power gem in Guardians. In Age of Ultron, he had no idea Ultron would take the mind gem and use it to create an ultimate version of himself.
MJ Roy at the end of the movie , at the new avengers headquarters, Cap America and Tony Stark say that they feel they are pawn , implying that the past movie in the MCU were just part of Thanos plan. This is just what i think
Man, so many great moments! Ultron's "evolution" was handled really well. When he's talking to Black Widow and he says "But, like ____ says, what doesn't kill me..." and suddenly it looks like she's being saved or something because he gets torn apart. Nope. It's Ultron Mark III. "...just makes me stronger." Hulk throwing him out of the Quinjet. "Oh for God's sake!" Throws him down to the ground and crashes. "You're unbearably naive." Vision: "Well, I was born yesterday" Epic movie. Hope Quicksilver (and Ultron) come back. But the best line in AoU is obviously Andy Serkis as Ulysses Klaue. "Want a candy?"
I get the feeling Andy serkis's character will return for black panther. I mean the character lived in Africa and so does black panther so it'd make sense for him to appear in that move
Coolman Hahn In the comics Ulysses Klaw (Andy Serkis) is Black Panthers main enemy, and he has a sound cannon implanted on his missing arm that can destroy any material on Earth; even vibranium.
Ginger Man 7 Oh I'm not a comic book reader I didn't know that. Well in that case he's almost definitely coming back for Black Panther and, considering he can destory vibranium, most likely an Avengers movie too.
Vision picking up Mjolnir literally caused the entire theater to audibly gasp. It just happened and everyone was like "what the hell just happened?" It was so funny.
I have two favourite Ultron moments. 1 is where he completely goes against villain stereotype and doesn't monologue: "I'm glad you asked that because I wanted to take this moment to tell you my evil plan -" *blasts them* The second one was where he'd fallen in the train and Scarlet Witch approaches him and he says: "You'll die..." As if he genuinely cares about her. That was one thing that I was surprised by, it did seem like Ultron cared about Scarlet Witch, much more then he's supposed to. Like when she tries to stop him and he says: "Please don't do this..." That surprised me and I really liked it.
because they're connected. in the mcu scarlet witch and quicksilver were given powers by the mind gem. the same gem that was used in the creation of ultron.
I loved the exchange between Scarlett Witch and Ultron, moments before Ultron was dying. It totally establishes Scarlett Witch to me, that moment was just great.
I love seeing older reviews and knowing what happened when the reviewer didn’t and knowing the answer to their questions or speculations. Yes, vision literally becomes toast and it was damn sad.
I really did love this movie, but it was rushed. The DVD/Blu Ray is apparently going to have an alternate ending and extended cut, and I feel like that extended cut will be my favourite MCU movie. Currently, it's around third behind The Avengers and Winter Soldier
Also, favourite Ultron line is when he says something along the lines of "Oh yes and let me just tell you my whole secret plan" to Stark. I may be paraphrasing, I honestly can't remember Overall favourite Ultron moment is that moment in the forest with the only Ultron drone and Vision. Just epic send off to Ultron and an overall epic Vision moment
Greer Galloway(Formerly Known as ultimategamings) They never said it was an extended cut. Only that they would include deleted scenes as bonus material.
Nowhere did they say they were releasing an extended cut. Only that they would include the deleted scenes. There was never any claim they would be integrated back to the film.
I just saw Age of Ultron with some friends last night and when Vision just hands Thor's hammer to him there was an audible gasp through the entire theatre. That was a really great moment.
My fav Ultron line was: *Hulk jumps onbroard the Jet Ultron is flying* Ultron: Oh, for gods sake. (or was it oh come on?) *You see Ultron being thrown out of the jet like trash by the Hulk.*
Our last hero very true. but he could have been like shooting a gun or doing anything at all. to have him not even there kind of seems like. oh well whatever.
EvOxDrama Agreed. If they didn't want to use Falcon (special effects are expensive?) then just show him, Maria Hill and Nick Fury gunning down Ultron-drones on the Hellicarrier or something. Personally, I felt all 3 of them (Nick, Maria & Sam) were wasted opportunities.
Agreed! I understand why you would want to focus on the core Avengers team, but if he's going to be in the film, and the other sidekick (War Machine) gets a small bit of action at the end saving people from the island, shouldn't he get a dozen or so seconds of screen time? I mean, it's a FLYING island swarming with FLYING drones. He's Falcon! Flying is his thing!
Leo Animations Didn't he say that when he was at that church, saying how it was build in the center of the city intentionally to always think about God?
*The whole Hawkeye family thing was the ultimate red herring.* To explain, you know when a character talks or is visited by family members? Then they talk how they will retire tomorrow to be with their loved ones? Season movie viewers know that this character will die before the movie is finished. Well Joss Whedon set things up exactly the same way, up to the moment Hawkeye hugged the kid, I was like "Here it comes, he is toast" I was completely surprised when Kickass got his ass kicked instead. Joss Whedon did not underestimate our intelligence by feeding us the same crap, instead he used that cliche to surprise us. He is really a great director.
I loved Ultron, he has got better charisma then Loki. I just wish he had a more powerful presence. He was able to overpower Thor at one point, sure, but I wish it took the combined efforts of the Avengers to take HIM down. Loki lacked that as well. I guess they are saving that for Thanos.
Charles applesause keep in mind that this is not a comics situation, where you can dedicate 1, 2 or 3 issues to a single villain fight. This movie had to show Ultron, introduce Vision, further develop the Avengers characters (in order to prepare us for Phase 3) AND keep all these things together. After all, the focus of the MCU at the moment, is not the episodic villains, but the Avengers and the master puppeteer Thanos.
"You plan on killing the avengers?" "No, I plan on saving the world... but... yeah" My favorite ultron moment, I know its cliche because it's all over the internet, but that was literally the first look at how ultron's gonna be throughout the movie, and I laughed... hard.
Dude, seriously: *I thought they would bring back (you know who) from his fatal wounds using the healing machine the Korean woman used on Hawkeye! I'm so upset they shoved yet another version of the speedster out the window as quickly as they introduced him! They could use his power set so much!"*
ChocolateAsian9000 The difference between that and DoFP is that this QS was a much better character, he did was he did as a resolution to his I hate the avengers arch and in the end decides I'm going to sacrifice my life for these people why? because he isn't actually a bad guy he just wants whats best for his country just like his sister.
ChocolateAsian9000 If Marvel would want it, (you know who) can be revived using the Reality Stone. One of the 6 Infinity Stones, or the Infinity Gauntlet in general
Loved the Ultron dig at DC where he says "Im glad you asked that question, now I can reveal my evil masterplan" Something along those lines anyways.. But loved it.
Grey Nugget I know right!? I thought I was the only one who thought Ultron wasn't that badass as I thought he would be he kept on fleeing the only fight I did like that had him was him vs Captain America
Grey Nugget Agreed, and he never really felt very dangerous. He even decides to kidnap Black Widow and let her live in a cell only to leave so that Bruce can come and be lovey-dovey with her. That's the one thing that I didn't like about the movie, other than that it was good.
The problem is, he NEVER won any of the three battles he had with the avengers. Loki won half of his. The avengers never seemed to have the struggle they did in the first movie.
Ultrons answer to human extinction and how they should evolve "There are more than a dozen extinction level events before even the dinosaurs got theirs. When the earth starts to settle, God throws a stone at it, and believe me, he is winding up"
When Cap and Tony were arguing about getting the people off of the floating town rock thing, I was like, "Oh crap, here we go! Civil War starts here!" But they get everyone off, and in the end they were all like, "I'm gonna miss ya buddy." Nonetheless, I really liked this movie. Felt a bit overstuffed at some points, but it was a great film. Can't wait to see what the Russo Bros. do with Infinity War.
I thought the floating city-thing would stay up in the air to become the city of the Inhumans... Now how are they gonna explain that there was another floating city? Odd
This Lazy Nigga If you can't already tell, the Marvel Comic Universe and the Marvel Cinematic Universe are different identities. If they haven't explained it in the movies, then it doesn't exist in the Cinematic Universe yet. In the Comics, Ultron was created by Hank Pym, not Tony Stark. In the Comics, Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver are mutants, not Inhumans. Brush up on your comics knowledge, man.
So, Hawkeye is my (and should be everyone's) favorite character, especially if we're talking post being Hawkeye Clint in current Matt Fraction Hawkeye... So my one hope was for Joss to redeem Clint and bring us the smartmouthed Agent Barton we know and love that gets more than 2 lines and being brainwashed a whole movie... Which we did. Then we saw his wife, kids and one more on the way and in the theater all I thought was "No, fuck you Whedon. Don't you dare Whedon Hawkeye and kill him!" then he decides to go save that stupid fucking kid and I just knew he was going to die... Then Whedon out Whedoned himself and instead of killing a character we thought perfectly safe, he saved a character I thought for sure was on death row from almost minute one
The most realistic part of Age of Ultron was Ultron deciding that the human race should be extinguished after spending a few minutes on the internet
***** haha! So true
Nice one good sir!
ablurt_55 He probably went to the RUclips comment section and decide that we deserve it.
ablurt_55 Watching every episode of Jerry Springer, Honey Booboo and The Kardashians all at once would drive anyone to genocide.
ablurt_55 he saw that most of the internet is kardashian reports
Tony Stark: What's the vibranium for?
Ultron: I'm glad you asked that, because I wanted to take this time to explain my evil plan...
*Shoots Tony in the face*
Walter Hartwell White YES! I LOVED THAT PART ALSO! It's awesome because I think it's referencing to all the movies/shows where the villains are dumb and explain everything and it turns out that the heroes were stalling and they beat the villains. This one figured it out and made fun of that XD
Caesar You know, have you ever heard that if you over-analyze and explain a joke you kinda ruin it?
Walter Hartwell White Wow, sorry, I forgot not everyone on RUclips is fun to talk to and able to converse with others... -_- Plus, what joke???
Caesar hahahahahahaha thanks for explaining this simple joke to me it to me or I would never have understood it lol xDxDxD
Caesar He is kinda right. That was such an obvious joke that you actually ruined it a little by explaining it.
In others words - NO SHIT SHERLOCK!?
What's caps shield made out of? Vibranium. What's hawkeye's shield made out of? Quicksilver...
+Jude Bale Cooper booooooooooooooooooooooooo
Too soon, man.
Jude Bale Cooper no no no no no no no!
Omg lol
@jeremyjahns
*Hulk jumps in the jet and pulls out Ultron to throw him out* "OH FOR GOD'S SAKE!!!"
+DAMIEN MILLS That had me laughing hard
+DAMIEN MILLS That was cool too LOL
+DAMIEN MILLS I literally didn't understand what he said when he said it, damn... it would have been funny.
+DAMIEN MILLS
Thor: We don't have to break anything...
Ultron: Clearly you've never made an omelette.
I loved that wicked sense of humour, laughed a lot.
+DAMIEN MILLS One of my top 3 favorite moments in the film right there!
the dialogue at the very beginning of Ultron's creation where he's trying to figure out what's happening... that was a beautiful scene
jaketaz ikr, "where's my body ?" at that moment i realised, he would be more human than most characters in movies.
Yah when it went all dark and I'm like what and then I hear him start talking...from that point on I was gripped
The scariest part about this movie is how I somewhat agree with Ultron. If you were just created on earth and spent 5 seconds on the internet wouldn't you wanna destroy humanity?
+SmallSlayerz
...Makes sense.
+SmallSlayerz maybe...but he wanted to destroy all life.
DMQ Productions
#didhitlerdidit
SmallSlayerz nope...cuz I'm watching Jeremyjahns
He can process all those information very very fast though. Not everything has to make sense.
This man spoiled infinity war 3 years before
Tf
Nathan Derrick and what he said is called a joke 🤦♂️
best joke is from hawkeye:
"Nobody would know, nobody"
"The last time I saw him an Ultron was sitting on him"
"Yeah he'll be missed, that quick little bastard, I miss him already"
Cody 257 I loved that scene.
I was aware it was a warzone, but it showed him as a person, not just a plot device or a mindless solider.
I like it when Tony and Steve are cutting the woods and Tony tells steve,''Don't steal from my pile",before he leaves.
Eden kanangila Yeah for sure! That's one thing I've been noticing more and more, lines that aren't quick or witty, and not huge expositions. Just....very human feeling comments.
Tyler Jaynes I feel like that's what BvS was missing. I mean I know it's meant to be darker but, they could of thrown a few one liners in there.
Eden kanangila BvS was just...a mess.
it was COOL, and I'm buying the directors cut for sure, but Jesus christ.
They had time and money, and still managed to fuck it up
I loved it when Ultron got mad and accidentally chops off Andy Serkis' arm and he simply says, "Sorry. Sorry. I didn't mean to do that.
Haley Bookworm "Accidentally"
This is my favorite part to
Haley Quinn he get beat by hulk like punch him away and trow him out of the plain which is ultron deserves it
When Black Widow asks Thor to help her convince Bruce that he did a good thing and he replies with (probably paraphrasing) "The gates of hell or filled with the screams of your victims," I thought that was funny.
the avengers killed so many people, why nobody cares? in the first 10 minutes they killed like 100 people.
javi online hostile people.
javi online Those were hydra men
***** i think that you really have to admire batman in particular because unlike superman he has no superpowers so its harder for him to get shit done with out killing anyone
javi online Yea lets arrest all these Hydra people that are killing innocents.
Stark: what's the vibranium for?
Ultron: I'm glad you asked that cuz I wanna take this time to explain my evil plan (punches tony)
Best line hands down
jhaus93 Forgot that one, such a witty line.
No, seriously, I like I always watch his reviews, because his standards are very like my own :P
I have no idea who that is...
Um, no...
Anxiety High Fun fact: According to Joss Whedon in every Phase Two film, someones arm/hand is cut off as homage to the Empire Strikes Back :)
***** it's true! ;)
***** well cap 2 bucky losses an arm, got groot gets his arm blown off by gamora I think that's how you spell it
iron man 3: Aldrich Killian loses an arm or arms (but they regrow thanks to extremis)
***** Hmmm,,,,that may be..however Klaw is known for having a prosthetic right arm that doubles as sonic emitter...I think that's what they were going for...
I loved Ultron's voice
James Spader is the fucking man !!
@@EzraDair
Agreed.
+blackvial
Well, when you have James Spader as the voice, you might love it.
You better watch that language, Jeremy.
Hahaha loved that part!
Kevin Strasser Do you kiss your mother with that mouth, Rogers?
I understood that reference.
Kevin Strasser It just slipped out..
Haha kevin doesn't like that kind of language
I loved when the Hulk jumped onto Ultron's jet during the final confrontation, and all we hear from Ultron is "Oh for gods sake..." before flying out the back. Definitely a one up on Loki's Hulk thrashing from the first movie.
My favorite moment of ultron was when hulk threw out ultron out of Quinn jet and ultron said for "oh for god sakes" 😂😂
Cedric House Same here. Best moment out of 100's of moments. :)
Cedric House kind of reminded me of loki in avengers 1 with him and the hulk :P
Patrick McKeown "I am a god you darn creature and I will not be bullied by-" *Gets owned*
"Puny god"
Cedric House I loved how it didn't show Ultron being dragged out by Hulk. Just kept the shot stationary looking out of the ship, hulk goes in and all you hear is 'Oh for god's sake' and then Ultron is just thrown out. Just brilliant and very funny
That was my least favorite scene, I just thought it was cheesy
The best part in the movie was when Tony look right at Hulks face "I'm sorry (o.o)"
HaloMachinima Films "go to sleep, go to sleep" XD
Carnege50 "Please tell me there's a secret door. Secret door, secret door *door opens* yay."
Both those parts were fucking hilarious XD
HaloMachinima Films That's the I-just-shat-in-my-armor-please-don't-hurt-me look.
Lol yes that I was so waiting for Tony to say something like that haha
I hope Ultron isn't really dead. We never really saw him die, we just saw a cut away of a flash of light from Visions beam. Oddly enough I kind of felt bad for him in the end. He was doing what he was programmed to do. He seemed genuinely sad when the twins left him, and seemed concerned that Wanda might die just before she killed his main body. He was probably the most "human" villain so far. I feel like it would be a waste of a great character if we don't see him again and get some more development.
True but i still think he's dead.
John Canuck I don't think he is dead. I think like Jarvis, he left pieces of himself on the net and one day someone is going to find those pieces and bring him back.
You are completely true I believe ultron is the best villain ever
"Please be a secret door, pls be a secret door... Yayy"
One of the best lines ever said.
ok so if no one noticed in the movie when tony stark looks at all his friends dead and looks at the gap opened and the alien army was looking at earth about to cross over, thanos was in the center of the army in his stone chair. a vision of infinity war taking place in space like the comics. too dope
francisco pimentel I completely noticed it and my jaw dropped when I saw it. It made me realize that this movie is setting things in motion for phase 3. Good eye there.
M Nunez man when i saw that i couldnt believe that i saw that stone chair in the center. man i am excited for phase 3
francisco pimentel omg i didnt noticte that wtf
Raynard Shuman watch it again man. you will see it
Damn.. I really need to watch this a third time...
Favorite Ultron scene: when Ultron was talking to Andy Serkis and when he mentions Tony Stark, Ultron just casually accidentally rips off his arm lol and Ultron was so calm and almost unapologetic about it
Oh oh I'm sorry, I didn't mean to do that
"... Yeah... That'll be ... That'll be fine."
"DON'T COMPARE ME TO STARK!"
Lol ultron is insane
yeah and like how the heck did that guy just shrug off (haha) losing an arm?! Like he didn't scream or anything he barely grunted!
Favorite ultron moment: telling black window what doesn't kill you makes u, then being cut off by himself in ultimate badass form and and then finishes his sentence
Also when klaw compares him to iron man and he flips out
That was my favorite part that's when I realized he was really crazy. Not just logical and humans are destined to die... you know the normal AI stuff. No this AI was out of his mind unstable.
¤BakonDude¤2233 That moment makes no sense as that body was far more powerfull than all the others he had
Also locking Black widow up instead of killing her makes no sense
ultimateblaze23 jeez man i didnt say i liked the whole scene you the ultron bits of that scene it was another reminder of how intimidating he is
¤BakonDude¤2233 I can't believe no one else has noticed this. You said black window. Made me laugh way too much. Well done xD
ultimateblaze23 He said he wanted someone around to understand what he was doing.
My favourite line?
[Ultron speaking to JARVIS referencing Tony Stark]
"Why do you call him a 'sir'?"
That's the scary part of AI.
Mine is the part where he says to Tony that he's gonna explain his evil plan and then just attacks them .
Kieran Wings Ultron AI is scary, your avatar is not
Dang Daikazoku are life,
Ultron's a bot
This movie has the best stan lee cameo ever
It was a close 2nd. I think in the first amazing Spider-Man takes the cake.
After Amazing Spiderman, GOTG was the best with him getting pervy with some Xandarian girl.
Lol he got fucked up off some Asgardian booze
Aaron Carnes hahaha
Eggshellsior
First, I loved Banner/Romanov. Loved it. Second, I was genuinely shocked at Quicksilver's passing. Third, did anyone else notice when Cap tried, Thor's hammer moved just a tiny bit, and Thor's reaction?
I noticed Steve slightly picking up Thor's hammer too.
Well I mean in the comics and whatnot captain America can actually picked up thor hammer my theory is Steve could have picked it up but decided not because it's not important to him and maybe didn't want to hurt Thor ego. Lol just my thoughts
David MacDowell Blue Maybe he is 'slightly' worthy?
David MacDowell Blue Dude, everyone in my theater noticed...
How could someone not notice? The only way they wouldn't have noticed was if they closed their eyes lol
Best scene for me was when Vision picks up Thor's Hammer
***** hulk tried in the first movie you should have said lol
I don't know what was better: the fact that Vision picked it up so casually, or all the crew's faces after he picked it up.
Vision was so worthy.
***** Every one in the theater was like OHHH MY GAAWD then a bunch of laughter lol
That would be fucking amazing
One more week 😂😂you predicted the future bruv
Waleed Syed nah they all just died
Mr. Stark, I don't feel so good....
yeah you got it all right my dude
Vision giving Thor hammer so casually best scene
Yes I was gonna say the same thing! The audience applauded when that happened lol
The audience reaction for that was priceless.
Looooool yeah that was hilarious and when captain America came close to picking up the hammer the smile on thors face disappear
Sam Weth Oh, definitely!
The audience in my theater actually clapped & cheered. It was priceless.
Paradox Acres Mine just straight up gasped.
Like a wave of "oh, oh my god" just hit the theatre.
I AM THOR, SON OF ODIN. AS LONG AS THERE'S AIR IN MY LUNGS...
I'M RUNNING OUT OF THINGS TO SAY...
CarEdy23 I AM MIGHTY.....
***** Vision hands back Mjolnir: It's terribly well balanced.
I thought it was daughter now? Or is that non-canon?
"I'm running out of things to say....NOW"
first thing i notice, jeremy got a haircut lol
01superchunk Haha me too!
01superchunk I got a haircut on Monday. Sat down to watch this today, it's the same haircut.
ultron = internet explore
vision =firefox
+YoungBlaze Of Chitown ?
+Dr. Universe !!?
YoungBlaze Of Chitown ?!?!?!?!??!??!?!?!?
+Dr. Universe ?k????????? ?k????????? ?k????????? ?k????????? ?k????????? ?k?????????
YoungBlaze Of Chitown sorry, i thought we were starting a conversation here LOL nah, i just dont get it, sorry
Man of steel: city half destroyed, everyone loses their minds
Avengers 2: cities damaged, one fully destroyed, "it's amazing!"
Edit: If you're going to argue, at least check the comments and make an original argument, otherwise thumbs up the person who made your argument.
TheGamercore47
Yeah, but we hear Tony explicitly say during his fight with The Hulk that he wanted to take the fight away from the city.
Old Supes didn't really give that a shot.
I'm gonna assume that was Joss Whedon's answer to Man of Steel for not making Superman even attempt acknowledgement of city filled with people.
*****
That crossed my mind, too.
***** superman was inexperienced there. Avengers werent
***** If another city is destroyed in Dawn of Justice because some idiot decided to fight Superman, THEN we can complain.
Zach Thompson
Ultron doesn't know he's bad, he doesn't know the difference between human extinction and peace. Most likely Quicksilver will return they said he has a multi-picture deal but that could just have been said too hide his death but who knows? and like, Shiirow says they disagree with a lot of things but together they're Avengers.
SBTroll
Yeah thats what I meant, or maybe their disagreement at one part of the movie just is the point where a larger disagreement is that straw that breaks the camels back so to speak in Civil War. No hatred just two points of view clashing.
When vision handed Thor his hammer, the look on my face was so priceless..
How the fuck do you know? Hahaha
Lol fucking idiot
Zgamer7 i know right i was like did he just do that did he actually just do that oh my god...... and the funny thing is that thor said that only the one that is worthy can wield the hammer so they pretty much have to trust him now
Aaron Kasajian standing and clapping in the cinema? What that's the dumbest shit I've heard
Aaron Kasajian That's is so stupid. I hope you are joking.
Ultron probebly read RUclips comments.
reading the comment sections is what made ultron evil
XrosM Probably pushed him over the edge
Favourite Ultron moment, is hands down when he says _"What Doesn't Kill you"_
Then rips his own head off and says _"Will make you stronger"_
Damn loved that scene!
Yeah I loved that part.
Agreed, but comedy wise i still pick my favorite when vision picked up thors hammer
Why do you have 900+subscribers and no videos? Lol
Danny F I know they are many other good moments.. but I was saying my favourite Ultron one.. since Jeremy asked for that :]
Because she's hot af
Hmm, at the end of the movie they are discussing the properties of Thor's hammer. And they ask what would happen if they put it in an elevator. So the big question is: Is the elevator worthy?
***** Indeed, that still doesn't answer if the elevator is worthy or not.
96ace96 Does that mean that if Thor putted his hammer in a little table, and I lifted the table, I'm worthy?
The hammer is just an ordinary object where things and nature can move it as long as no person involved on that proccess. The enchantment that odin put into it will only activate if someone is trying to use or is currently touching it which the enchantment wontlet the person interfere on its current place, momentum and condition.
96ace96 In "Thor the Dark Wold" he hung his hammer from a wooden coat rack. Does that make the coat rack worthy, too?
DJGamera That coat rack has a 3 picture deal with Marvel.
RIP Quicksilver, the actor had the accent down and everything, then they just killed him.
Boy, was he awesome.
Ya he didn't see that coming
LordChaosJunior Yep, that shows how good Joss Whedon is at creating characters and make you care about them. That, and the fact that the actor gave the character great humanity.
+thibaldus3 Xmen one was better in my opinion
+LordChaosJunior They did't say he was dead. Therefore he could be brought back with something like Tahity (sorry for spelling)
+LordChaosJunior Hawkeye brought Quicksilver's body back to the helicarrier so maybe he'll get the Phil Coulson treatment.
Ultron: *cuts Andy Circuses arm off* Sorry...Sorry... (That cracked me up so much, hilarious)
The Armoured Alchemist I don't think it was supposed to be funny though. Like he is an A.I. that was learning as he went, I think it was supposed to show us that he still has like a humanistic side to him. And he lost his cool, and did something he immediately regretted.
enjoi0555
Yeah I know he continues to do that through the movie even to the end when he tells Scarlet Witch she'll die if she doesn't leave... Ultron was a lot more human than people thought.
But I don't know why I just think it was the way he said t... It just really cracked me up. It was just one of those things that made me laugh.
enjoi0555 Well it was funny.
Waleed Assad
Maybe but it was obvious she was going to wipe Ultron out...
Citizen Kane*
But yeah you're right, these movies aren't meant to be critically acclaimed masterpieces there just meant for fun
***** the first Avengers film is garbage, what is wrong with you people
***** people who use this excuse for movies lack intelligance.
A poor movie is a poor movie. Flaws are flaws.
ultimateblaze23 Because we like having a fun time we lack intelligence. Alright.
Hawkeye's speech on Scarlet Witch was definitely my favorite. They're in the middle of a war and there he was sparing a bit of his time to babysit. At that moment I was just like, "Yup. That's not a mercenary, that's a full-on dad right there."
*waiting at computer until December for Jeremy Jahns Star Wars Spoilers Review*
So true
So did ya make it? XD
I was hoping the movie would end on bad terms between Tony and Steve. I mean there was a fight there around the middle.
It was disappointing that it didn't. Considering is is suppose to be the equivalent of the school bombing in civil war, there could've been more foreshadowing of Tony's doubt
***** Like Jeremy said, people should have died because of Tony and that would have been the perfect set up for Civil War.
Odd, but as the phase ender, it'd be kinda silly if it wasn't.
***** Ant Man is now officially part of phase II so it would be the ender.
(Hydra attempting world domination, Asgard dealing with outside threats as well as Loki's scheming for the throne, and Tony's livelihood and family name being responsible for creating his greatest enemies)
I guarantee we are not going to see a faithful recreation of the Civil War story.
Favorite ultron scene is when ultron was blasted by iron man, vision, and Thor at the same time. Best visual scene ever
realsc00ter I just wonder why did they stop blasting? And let him run away which eventually led to the death of QuickSilver ??
same thing i thought. they cold have taken him out right there.
realsc00ter Needed to recharge, probably. They hit him with everything they had.
true. never though of that. if scarlet was attacking with them it would've been over
Recharge? Thor needs to recharge? And Vision too? I mean Iron Man probably. Maybe they just didn't want to do another "Man of Steel" killing :P
I just felt they should've beefed up ultron. Made a bit more powerful, or show him overpower iron man or thor to show how dangerous he is.
+Andy Montanez He _was_ overpowering Thor. I just wish they could have shown more of that.
The Hound but it wasn't intimidating. I wanted to see fear on their face and truely believe that he was unstoppable and I didn't get that. Plus, they could've done a lot more with the whole he's in the internet thing to cause some chaos
Andy Montanez I know, that's why I said wish they could have shown more of that, or more of his character at least.
The Hound yeah, it was still a good movie though
Thanos:"guess I have to do it myself "
jahahua Fine, i'll do it myself.*
About damn time Thanos gets off his ass! Lol
I been waiting for Thanos for too long as well. hell I might have two kids by the time he starts beating ass.
SilverWolf04 LOL You know, if someone had a child in 2012 when Thanos debuted in Avengers end credits.. the kid would basically be 6 years old by the time Thanos is the main villain in Infinity War Part 1 lol
Screamed "THANOS!" in the theater lol xD
This movie was actually funnier than I thought it was going to be.
Most hilarious things:
1. Ultron. 'Nough said.
2. Captain America. 'Nough said.
3. The mighty Hulkbuster armor, able to stand up to the Hulk- and Tony calls it "Veronica."
4. Tony Stark: "I'm sorry."
Most WHAAAAT? things:
Things they fixed:
It's not the pansy the Iron Patriot was.)
EDIT: Favorite Ultron moment: "Keep your friends rich, and your enemies rich, and wait to see which is which."
Veritas 1995 well my thought on Vision lifting the hammer, he is powered by an Infinity Stone so who knows how that factored in.
***** Vision was pretty awesome. He and Hawkeye were the surprise performances.
The audience in my theater actually clapped when Vision lifted Thor's hammer
Hahah same here!
Same here. I had a very interactive audience.
Me too
In my theatre everyone just went like "Woah" it was way to hilarious
297fihsy Same here, someone yelled out "Fuck Him Up Thor" i was laughing my ass off.
"Is he gonna rip it out of visions head?" Yes thats exactly what he does. Nailed it Jeremy
Yep that's what happens
Clearly you've never made an omelette
I didn't understand that quote, can you help me
Leo Edekere It was from the movie.
I know I've watched it, I didn't understand the quote in the movie
Leo Edekere Thor states right before they fight in the drug lords facility that they don't have to break anything. Ultron being a smart ass and sarcastic states clearly you never made an omelet. You have to break a couple of eggs to make something worthwhile.
Leo Edekere Tony was going to say that line but Ultron beat him to it. That's why he said he beat me by 1 second.
Victus They are Infinity War part 1 comes out May 2018 part 2 May 2019
This is Disney. They don't do dark movies.
Triple-D26 Return to Oz.
Victus The fact that he showed concern is part of what sold the character for me. It made him feel more of an actual person that felt he was truly doing good by saving humans from themselves rather than just an evil/disfunctional AI
They confirmed Infinity War would be two parts months ago.
Question: Why the hell did Ultron capture Black Widow instead of just killing her?
canegemen tuna one of the robots took Loki's staff when they left the Avengers Tower.
canegemen tuna the yellow stone came from lokis ceptor. Ultron broke the blue part and the yellow gem was inside
John Rizzi He wanted to "Tear her apart from the inside" no pun intended... yeah that was awkward.
no blue gem, the yellow mind gem was inside the blue part
canegemen tuna the yellow gem was made to create both ultron and vision. and the blue gem was the tessaract. they showed it for a second.
"There are no...strings...on me..." That line will haunt programmers till the end of time.
yeah i wish these movies were rated R. it would be so much more fun/interesting.
@@korndud The only reasons I you would make a movie rated R is for more bloody violence, stronger profanity, and nudity. I dont really see any of these being necessary lol.
Edit: maybe more intense violence would be cool
My favourite funny moment in the film HAS to be the "Gotosleepgotosleepgotosleep" line
God Of Potatoes yeah that was funny as hell xD
God Of Potatoes Or after he punches out the Hulks tooth he's like sorry...
DCLUVSPIE more like "oh shit what did i just do"
God Of Potatoes What part was that? I don't remember :S
Ghostmw2awsome When Ironman was fighting the hulk and punching him in the face over and over again...
I really wished Quicksilver didn't die. Then again, who has died that hasn't come back (Coulson, Fury, Loki)?
They had a machine in the movie that could manufacture human flesh, of course he'll be back. There are no real consequences to a Marvel movie.
Troy Louis Don't worry. In the marvel universe there LITERALLY isn't a single character who hasn't died and come back to life at some point.
Troy Louis They had to kill off the one character they didn't fully have legal rights for ;)
Zenith Wills Uncle Ben.
Troy Louis Sadly, Marvel are pussies and he most definitely will come back.
I definitely enjoyed the movie but I can't be the only one that felt that the Hulk and Black Widow romance thing was super forced.
Austinmb96 I don't think it was forced, but it felt forced cause we just caught the very tale end of it, I mean it really came out of nowhere, in no other film do they establish a romance between the two. Maybe if they showed something like that at the end of Avengers 1, but honestly there was a bigger set up for a Cap and Widow relationship with Winter Soldier
onetruegentleman is it cause they made out? :)
ahh there's also the betty matter.
Vinh Tran Quang
Maybe forced is the wrong word. Rushed.
The romance was rushed, because the chemistry they shared in Avengers did not come off as romantic, but in this movie we get the feeling they've been flirting for a long time. It just sort of comes out of left field. So it all comes out feeling rushed
Good to see a really positive review/talk on this film!
I cried when Quicksilver died. I actually whimpered and my tears were dripping off of my face. I am still devastated, i just saw the movie and i'm still not okay. He was my favorite avenger, even before he was an Avenger. Still cried.
Toshiro Amiiga Would've been better if Hawkeye died agreed. He's really not interesting he just tries to be. :/
I told everyone when the Age of Ultron Trailer first came out, if Ultron started to sing "No Strings on Me" he will make me shit pants
And he did :(
Ultron was a badass and he was hilarious as well which i did didn't expect
So i don't have a specific great moment cause all his moments are great but if i had to pick it would be when Hulk jumped into the jet Ultron was piloting and Ultron said "Oh for God's sakes!" And Hulk threw his ass out of the jet :D reminded me what Hulk did to Loki in The Avengers.
Tici Toty Tony The fact that the actual Pinocchio song played for a moment made it all the more creepy.
The94Venom Disney going into the creepy era hahaz :)
Tici Toty Tony To be precise, Ultron said "Oh, for god's sake!"
But yea, that was one of my facourite scenes
Enderbrine Mirz lols oh that's right still funny :D
Tici Toty Tony He was weak. Not a badass, got his ass handed to him by everyone
Quick silver´s death was something amazing.
All the movie Joss is playing with our minds making us think. "OH MY FUCK! HAWK EYE IS GONNA DIE."
why?
Hawk eye is the most charismatic person in this movie, he has a family,he has a deep talk with his wife,he is extremely funny, you get attached to him,he gives a extremely powerful speech to Scarlet. All signs of a hero about to die. But then....Quicksilver saves him and he says "you didn´t see that coming"
i was like " O.O "
I felt like joss whedon came out of the screen and just winked at me "Got you"
I loved it
FCKundo I knew he wasn't gonna die, because the movies are based on the Ultimate comics. Don't get too attached to that family of his. Just sayin...
contrabardus No the movies take inspiration from the ultimate universe (as much as the original universe), but they already went in a completely different direction. Iron Man doesn't have a cancer, Captain America isn't a racist anti-french, Quicksilver died (and not Wanda) etc, etc.
Ultron* you've obviously never made an omelet.
Tony: he beat me by 1 second
MJ Roy No, he just says it because sendingt others to get the infinity stones wasn't working, so he was going to take them himself.
That's actually a very good catch. Well done!
You just got the Jeremy seal of approval holy shit
"...just makes me stronger."
Hulk throwing him out of the Quinjet. "Oh for God's sake!" Throws him down to the ground and crashes.
"You're unbearably naive."
Vision: "Well, I was born yesterday"
Epic movie. Hope Quicksilver (and Ultron) come back.
But the best line in AoU is obviously Andy Serkis as Ulysses Klaue. "Want a candy?"
Yasha Breslove And then when Quicksliver takes one like yes actually. XD
Coolman Hahn Its ok. Just thought it would clear that up for you.
I was so bummed when they killed Pietro
Brent Z Aaron Taylor Johnson signed a multi-movie deal with Marvel. He'll be back.
Edward Irra Flash backs aren't good enough
Could Wanda manipulate her own mind so she can still see him?
Edward Irra how is that gonna work then? comic book nerds we need your wisdom
The CVR123 they could go back in time
Vision picking up Mjolnir literally caused the entire theater to audibly gasp. It just happened and everyone was like "what the hell just happened?" It was so funny.
You think Ultron can see his killcams before respawning?
I have two favourite Ultron moments. 1 is where he completely goes against villain stereotype and doesn't monologue: "I'm glad you asked that because I wanted to take this moment to tell you my evil plan -" *blasts them*
The second one was where he'd fallen in the train and Scarlet Witch approaches him and he says: "You'll die..." As if he genuinely cares about her. That was one thing that I was surprised by, it did seem like Ultron cared about Scarlet Witch, much more then he's supposed to. Like when she tries to stop him and he says: "Please don't do this..."
That surprised me and I really liked it.
because they're connected. in the mcu scarlet witch and quicksilver were given powers by the mind gem. the same gem that was used in the creation of ultron.
"What's the vibranium for?"
"I'm glad you asked me that question, because I wanted to take this moment to explain my evil plan."
grfrjiglstan that was such a great line
I really did love this movie, but it was rushed. The DVD/Blu Ray is apparently going to have an alternate ending and extended cut, and I feel like that extended cut will be my favourite MCU movie. Currently, it's around third behind The Avengers and Winter Soldier
Also, favourite Ultron line is when he says something along the lines of
"Oh yes and let me just tell you my whole secret plan" to Stark. I may be paraphrasing, I honestly can't remember
Overall favourite Ultron moment is that moment in the forest with the only Ultron drone and Vision. Just epic send off to Ultron and an overall epic Vision moment
***** I entirely forgot about that xD
So many great moments
Greer Galloway(Formerly Known as ultimategamings)
They never said it was an extended cut. Only that they would include deleted scenes as bonus material.
Daniel Craig Ah, fair enough. That could still be enough to make it a much better movie
Caer Ibormeith Everyone laughed at my theater.
Everyone clapped in mine
Hawkeye is now by far the sassiest avenger.
My fav Ultron line was:
*Hulk jumps onbroard the Jet Ultron is flying*
Ultron: Oh, for gods sake. (or was it oh come on?)
*You see Ultron being thrown out of the jet like trash by the Hulk.*
I couldn't remember which of those two lines either
That was so funny!
Oh for god sakes...
wejl was it not "Oh, for godness sake"?
But Im also remembering "oh come on" :P
He said "oh for the love of god..." I just now got out of the movies :p
My biggest gripe with the movie was when Falcon was nowhere to be found during the rescue of the citizens. I was expecting Warmachine AND Falcon.
He was probably tracking Bucky, earlier in the movie, Sam tells Captain America that hes busy working on their missing person case.
He also most likely didn't have a new set of wings at that point, and a pair wasn't built until after the battle with Ultron.
''Men create... tiny people? CHILDREN, lost the word there...''.
Leo Animations Didn't he say that when he was at that church, saying how it was build in the center of the city intentionally to always think about God?
Yes.
I 2nd That!
+Leo Animations the amazing part when Tony in the farm saw Barton's kids and he's like " little agents " and I was omg
*The whole Hawkeye family thing was the ultimate red herring.*
To explain, you know when a character talks or is visited by family members?
I just Don't know well, it took thor, stark and vision working together to scratch his surface.
Yea that was my only problem with ultron too how he got defeated like that but other then that he was awesome like ripping klaws arm off!
Right! That may be. I thought there was not enough Ultron... Tincy bit disapointed...
***** That was because it took a lot of energy to take out Ultrons access to the internet
Charles applesause
keep in mind that this is not a comics situation, where you can dedicate 1, 2 or 3 issues to a single villain fight. This movie had to show Ultron, introduce Vision, further develop the Avengers characters (in order to prepare us for Phase 3) AND keep all these things together. After all, the focus of the MCU at the moment, is not the episodic villains, but the Avengers and the master puppeteer Thanos.
"You plan on killing the avengers?"
"No, I plan on saving the world... but... yeah"
My favorite ultron moment, I know its cliche because it's all over the internet, but that was literally the first look at how ultron's gonna be throughout the movie, and I laughed...
1216Rockman I barely understand a word you just said
ChocolateAsian9000 me too man like wtf
ChocolateAsian9000 If Marvel would want it, (you know who) can be revived using the Reality Stone. One of the 6 Infinity Stones, or the Infinity Gauntlet in general
ChocolateAsian9000 no.. his character was a pain in the ass because of copy infringment.. not mentioning mutants and shit is stupid ;)
Dude when Vision handed Thor his hammer, everyone in the theatre burst into astonishment. I was sitting there like, "Did he just do that?"
“Is vision destined to die now?”
Yes.
We have seen him die 5 times now.
Loved the Ultron dig at DC where he says "Im glad you asked that question, now I can reveal my evil masterplan" Something along those lines anyways.. But loved it.
"Im glad you asked that because I wanted to explain my evil plan." 😂😂
My favourite part of Ultron is when he's giving his speech when Sokovia is rising , I got chills!
I just realize that you forget to talk about the Hulkbuster vs the Hulk fight scene. One of the best fight scenes in my opinion.
Movie was good. I think ultron was a bit weak.
Grey Nugget I know right!? I thought I was the only one who thought Ultron wasn't that badass as I thought he would be he kept on fleeing the only fight I did like that had him was him vs Captain America
Yeah. He never beat the avengers once in the entire movie. He went 1v1 with a few of them and still lost.
Grey Nugget When did Loki win?
Also...."Don't take from my pile".
Just rewatched it. It just keeps getting better and better.
Every time someone says Hawkeye, I think they're saying Hot Guy
Nice try Jeremy Renner...
Luis Castillo hahahhahaahahhahhahahahhahaahahhahha
Adam Boulton Really? Everytime anyone says hawkeye I roll my eyes lol
I cannot unread this 😂

I mostly think of the unrelated tv show of the same name :) .

Ultrons answer to human extinction and how they should evolve
"There are more than a dozen extinction level events before even the dinosaurs got theirs. When the earth starts to settle, God throws a stone at it, and believe me, he is winding up"
The scene where Vision takes the hammer - just great :)
Well the Russo Brothers did direct Captain America 2, and that was pretty good!
No it's joss Sweden doing infinity joss is for avengers movie the Russo bros is doing cap civil war
Javier Ibarra no the Bros are doing all 3
I thought the floating city-thing would stay up in the air to become the city of the Inhumans... Now how are they gonna explain that there was another floating city? Odd
DoctorTrinity The movie still kicks buttloads of ass though :D
The Inhumans already have a city in the MVU. We just haven't seen it yet.
D.S. Bernard How do you know?
DoctorTrinity Because that's how it is in the comics.... Brush up on The Inhumans knowledge, man.
Chad Van Oostendorp he was better in the first film, his personallity is not great, he is better when mind controlled
ultimateblaze23 there is something honestly wrong with you. What personality did he have mind controlled?
Hawkeye is the most boring and bland of The Avengers, He's just the guy with the bow and the plain appearance.
Danny Bonachea His comic book costume is FAR from plain haha
Danny Bonachea i guess you dont read comics
So underrated. Just watched it again today! Love it more than I did before!
