Not only that but people seem to forget that Scarlet Witch's brother saved Hawkeye's life. I think there's even a line in there where he acknowledges that
My mom said this was the worst movie she ever saw she hated spiderman and she called black panther gay catwomen i love the movie and spiderman and black panther
I'd say my favorite part was when Black Panther gives up his hate and need for revenge, and even saves Zemo from killing himself. You don't see that very often, and it was very refreshing to see.
+Le Thanh Minh I would say it's more "stops" him from killing himself than "saves" him. In a way it is vengeance but it's Panther believing that Zemo should be made accountable for what he has done. Not take the easy way out.
Yes I loved that moment too. Normally how other movies does it they just let the bad guy kill himself and they think - Yeah he deserved it. BUT Tchalla was smart. He knew Zemo had to stand trial. That´s the first step to help Bucky, Cap and the whole FN act policy against the Avengers if they take The Winters Soldiers action into play. They don´t have proof of Bucky´s brain control and manipulation but with Zemo they can get it. This is why we have laws and orders and don´t execute criminals but put them on trial. And how awesome is´t it to see a hero save someone from killing themself.
Anyone else noticed that Peter FINALLY makes his own webbing in this film? Tobey's was organic, Andrew's was made by Oscorp, but Tom makes his own. Just a little sample of how MARVEL is getting it right!
+N Slater For me, the whole point of him using his own webbing is that it shows how intelligent and creative his is. I didn't mind the organic webbing, but I like seeing them show Peter's inventive mind. He is supposed to have the potential to be one of the most intelligent humans in the Marvel universe, he just puts so much time into being Spider-man he never truly fulfills that potential. The webbing is supposed to be a glimpse into how smart he actually is. That is how I see it anyways (I dragged on a bit there)
Omg yes I died when he said that. It's like between his Shield and massive civilian losses Marvel addressed the two biggest problems with realism in the MCU (imo).
Chimp Pimp To save myself some time I'll just say that neither is wrong, it just depends on the writer. But for this particular incarnation, you might as well be right.
My favorite part...Spidey vs Falcon and Bucky? "I don't know if you've been in a fight before but there's usually not this much talking!" "Sorry, my bad."
+Zuviel Naazie Bucky throws a piece of destruction at Spider-man then hides. "hey, you lost this!" Bucky comes out of hideing as it comes right back to him.
Skinperiod Inc. he almost did though lol and I think it was when zemo said "he seemed a good man, with a dutiful son." That's when he knew he was just a pawn in his plans and didn't want to sink to his level. Awesome movie
The reason why Hawkeye was there was that Tony was basically imprisoning Wanda for what she did, and Cap told Hawkeye that so that he would help her escape. Hawkeye feels like he owes a debt to Wanda for Quicksilver saving his life.
I saw it like that if Hawkeye did register with the government that means the gov knows about his family therefore if hydra takes over the gov that makes his family a target
+Evenmoresteven You can also argue he understands where Cap is coming from where Bucky is concerned. Remember he was also the puppet of a bad guy forced to kill allies.
Just throwing it out there, if the accords were passed Wanda would be treated as a nuclear bomb. The government would confine her heavily. If tony stark who personally knew her and fought with her on Sokovia, locked her up in a mansion with an android body guard, what would the government do to her? The comments above made a good point about Hawkeye, #1 quicksilver saved his life, the only reason he see's his family is because wanda's brother died. #2 he also became a meat puppet and knows what it's like killing people because of another's agenda. #3 All his private information will be ratted out to the government, and that's the whole reason why he tried so hard hiding his family. . Antman the story of his first movie is, sometimes you gotta do the right thing despite it's consequences. When scott Lang robbed the multi billion company and gave the money to the poor, he lost his wife to another man, he lost a big chunk of time to raise his daughter... his name is mud and can't even find a job (baskin robbins). He helped people, but he paid a price. He has motives to join Cap because Cap and the others are now on the same situation... they wanna act on their own to stop Zemo and the "Psycho Assasins" even if it means the world governments are going to view them as villains. Cap wants to help bucky even if it means his name is going to be mud for helping an ex-hydra assassin.
One thing that hit me really hard when I realised it was Caps reasoning for not signing the Act. Cap didn't speak of some theoratical scenerio, he spoke from experience. Cap worked for S.H.I.E.L.D and it turned out Hydra took over. Cap couldn't work for Hydra and so he won't throw his allegiance to any other Organization or Nation anymore.
+Travis Houze that a sign of good writing not haiving to throw the points you are trying to make in a persons face and let them come to the conclusions you are making organically
You mention Spidey grabbing Bucky's arm and pulling it to the side? No one else has ever overpowered Bucky's cyborg arm. Spidey did it as an afterthought.
+laz kar but Spider-Man should literally never get hit in hand to hand combat with his spidey sense and considering he can lift 10 times his weight or whatever he should be as strong if not stronger than cap
Evnyofdeath exactly, Spidey had only been Spidey for like 6 months at that point and as far as we know has never gone up against another "enhanced" human
One little thing: Scarlet Witch didn't shut down Vision's crystal. She hijacked his powers, increasing his density to such a point that he started plummeting directly to the center if the earth. That's Vision's main power, altering his density.
I still think that scene is quite contradictory. Vision is literally the embodiment of an infinity stone, an indestructible stone powerful enough to destroy planets. I am pretty sure the infinity stone is not weak enough to be hijacked or manipulated that bloody easily. Scarlett witch is just human touched by another infinity stone is suppose to be weaker than vision by multitude. Yet they made Visiona whipping boy in MCU.
sebastianSHORTS i've always thought Spider-Man should swear, because dumb teenagers swear a lot (i know, i am one) and the fact that i never expected it to actually happen but wanted it to was a shockingly genuine moment
i love pretty much everything about the movie, although the Empire Strikes Back line did make me cringe. no teenager refers to Empire as just "that one old movie with the walking thingies" especially Spider-Man who's a nerdy kid!
Marvel trolled my ass. I waited for the post credit scene and saw the Black Panther one then left the cinema... I didn't know there was a Spider-Man scene... RIP
Never ever leave before the white screen on any Marvel movie, they almost always have 2 scene after the end of any movie so stay just in case. If not, you still get to enjoy pretty decent music :D
Me too!! My friends and I waited till the very end and we sat staring at a black screen for 5 minutes ): come to find that it was removed because we went to see a free early preview
Ok so Jeremy on my second viewing tonight I know why Clint is there. To anyone saying "Clint has no reason to be fighting" yes yes he does a BIG reason. In the parking garage scene Hawkeye motions to Wanda (Scarlet Witch) and says a VERY IMPORTANT LINE which is: "well...I have a debt..." This means he feels compelled to help because it's Wanda and because she's Quicksilver's sister. The only reason he's even alive is because of her brother. So because of his debt to her brother who sacrificed himself to save Clint, he feels compelled to help her and subsequently Cap. To anyone saying he has no reason that's completely false BUT it is one single line but it is a very VERY important line from him.
Brandon Layne that'd be a pretty bad line it would ruin the serious moment with an attempt at a joke. That moment is meant to be serious not funny and would probably hurt Wanda if he said that too
Nah. I still think the Titan scene is better than any of the fight scenes in Endgame. That big end battle where like all the heroes in the MCU fight was just good, but it was really overblown in quality; and it uses the heart pull of Tony dying to keep you distracted that it wasn't quite the best fight scene Marvel has done. And for the record: I think this civil war fight scene was also better than the ending fight in Endgame. It's just still not as good as Infinity War in that aspect.
@@swapnilkulkarni800 Nah. Endgame focussed more on character moments and capping off the saga. Infinity War had better action spectacle but Endgame is way more emotionally resonating.
I loved how STRONG Spiderman was. Like... throughout all the movies where Bucky is, you learn to respect his robotic arm as something that can make even Cap flinch, and Spidey just blocks it without flinching and drops that awesome line. Also, Black Panther was possibly my second favourite character in the movie. Holy shit, he was great.
Most people don't realise just how strong spiderman is. This is a guy in the comics who can lift around 20 tonnes clean above his head, so it's nice to see his abilities being fully represented in the movies.
+TJR I love how people forget how strong Raimi Spider-Man was. He lifted an entire roof off of Mary Jane and stopped a train from speeding. Spider-Man has been well represented before MCU acquisition. Loved Tom Holland tho, Civil War was amazing!
When bucky told black panther, "I didn't kill your father. " and black panther responded, " then why did you run? " I wish bucky would've said something like, "I don't know, how about the fact that you're in a giant cat suit trying to take my head off."
Yea I loved when he was talkin shit about iron man and then stark just turns around and looks at him and is like "Who are you?" Probably my favorite joke in the film
Didn't Hawkeye said in the movie when he tried to get Wanda out of the compound "I owe debt" or something near that line which he meant coz he owes Scarlet Witch her brother's life?
+Echoingdolphin not really, he choose to retire, he wouldn't have been affected much and he wouldn't have been affected had he took parts in the accords either because they didn't talk about secret identities or any of that crap like they did in the comics.
Tony Stark: You ever been to Germany? Peter Parker: No. Tony Stark: Oh, you’ll love it. Peter Parker: I can’t go to Germany! Tony Stark: Why? Peter Parker: ……I got homework. 😂😂😂😂😂
+Scsigs Where BvS has massive destruction, is about the formation of a universe and foccuses on the point of view mainly of Bats and Supes, Civil War foccuses on Cap's struggle and the point of view of all the established heroes in this controversial situation they find themselves in. The films are similar solely from the fact that the heroes fight, tone, conflict, and style are all completely different. Batman and Superman hate each other due to misunderstandings and cause they just personally don't like each other Cap and Iron don't really hate each other they just disagree on a specific issue which leads to a lot of conflict.
How is Iron Man the antagonist? He wants the forms signed to keep the public safe and when he fights Cap and Bucky at the end, it's because Bucky KILLED HIS PARENTS and CAP DIDN'T TEEL HIM! He has a right to be mad, and if the scenario was real we'd all want them to sign the agreement. Iron Man is the real protagonist.
antagonist doesn't mean "bad guy". It's just someone who is opposing of the main character, so if Cap is the protagonist (main character), then iron man would be his antagonist.
It's alright to be mad but would you really blame the guy? It's not like Bucky wanted to be a Hydra puppet. Steve didn't tell him because, guess how Tony would react? Oh wait, they showed that in the movie, Tony tries to murder someone. Iron Man is not the hero but he is neither the bad guy here. The Accords law means well but Steve has a point, given that government always has agendas this doesn't really solve the problem but just places it on the government's favor.
Dude.. Tony signing it isn't the same as him going completely sithmode at the end. After Tony tracked them down with the help of Falcon he went to Rogers as a friend, then he saw that video (which was conveniently recording right in front of the accident) he went from civil war to plain war.
You did miss though that even at the beginning Tony Stark was coming from a kind of emotional place because his line of reasoning behind needing to be put in check was all based off of that one kid who died in Sokovia. He even used him in his powerpoint of why we should surrender to the Sokovia accords.
The moment I saw Stark's parents get murdered by Bucky was the biggest plot twist i've seen in a movie man. It hit me hard, and they perfectly captured the rage Tony would have. That made the movie's impact on "Everyone's the victim" note all the stronger. I freaken loved this movie.
Yeah it really wasn't a plot twist. If you're wondering how Capt. knew about the assassination he found out in the Winter Soldier whilst he was in the old Hydra base.
15:18 Captain was emotional too, he did not want Bucky to get caught because he was his friend. Also Vision was on the side of logic (that is in info for character) :)
+Mr93Suki He is emotional, but technically, Bucky himself IS NOT guilty of committing any of the crimes they want to condone him for under his own free will. Bucky, like Jeremy says, is the greatest victim of this entire film. He's a good honest man who fought and gave life and limb for his country in World War II, only to be brainwashed and converted by an evil Nazi death cult and turned into their weapon. So yes. Cap is emotional, but that's not synonymous with being wrong. Logistically, he is right. Bucky is not guilty.
+Mr93Suki he didn't want Bucky to get killed, and that's what the authorities wanted to do, shoot him on the spot. Cap is ok if Bucky would be brought in alive and given psychological assessment and a fair trial, because he's innocent. Vision might have logic, but he has no understanding of the politics in our world. Giving some organziation the control over Avengers doesn't necessarily mean it'd bring accountability. Who's accountable for the mess we made in Afghanistan? both UN and NATO were involved, just because it has some international governmental organization attached to it doesn't mean it'd bring oversight and accountability.
+Meng Jue He do not want his friend to be killed but he kills other people that do the same things bucky done. All those enemys he killed might be brainwashed too and cap killed them like nothing. Vision should know everyhing about our world since he is an AI (i think). Also in their world logic of cap and ironman should be combined, UN should work with avengers, because they can not just go to any country and start battle. If the Dr.Doom was in this univers he would fuck them up if they cross to his country. :) i hope you understand me xD
10:38 to 10:50 Yup. That was my reaction when I realized what we were about to see. And the thing is, the scene with Zola in Captain America: The Winter Soldier does imply that Bucky was the one who killed Howard and I had that in the back of my head when I started watching Civil War but still, when Zemo played that footage I was like "Oh no. Oh no no no no no." I felt so terrible for all of them at that moment. That's probably why I prefer that final fight scene to the big airport showdown despite it being ridiculously entertaining. This one was just so emotionally charged it left me damn near in tears.
Why is no one talking about when they take out giant man, and spidey was like "Have you ever seen Empire Strikes Back?" I was like what, then he starts going around his legs and I'm like oh shit!
Favorite part: when Falcon says he's sorry after Tony checks on Rhodie and Tony straight up blasts him. I would have loved to see the scene when Tony or whoever arrests all of them.
Especially since Tony blasted Sam who was there at the impact site, what would he do to Vision who actually shot his friend down with friendly fire? Answer nothing. In the moment the pain is intense and he lashes out. But Vision? Ain't squat he can do to Vision. Sums Tony up very well. That's why we love him! Team Cap all the way!
What was up with hot Aunt May, when I first saw her and Peter said "May", I thought he said 'Mary Jane' and that they were dorm mates. Youngest looking Aunt May ever, it's like she getting progressively younger as each series is made.
She's not 90, she's in her 70s. It's weird but not that weird. May married Peter's uncle Ben who is Richard Parker's big brother. If Richard was, let's say, 35-40 when he had Peter, Ben could be in his 60s 15 years later when Peter becomes Spiderman and May even older for all we know
+r7diego You'd kill innocent people who had nothing to do with your parents death..... In response to your parents death? (Bucky technically did, but it was only his body that was involved, not his mind, it was the doing of completely other people.)
+Adam Sloss Is a Boss Could you honestly say that, after watching a recording of your parents getting brutally murdered, and the guy who did it was standing right next to you, you wouldn't try to kill him? Especially given the fact that your other friend knew but decided not to tell you?
Jackson Lasley "The guy who did it" you're missing the point. Iron Man knew Bucky didn't do it. Would you kill someone that was trapped in a suit against their free will and killed your parents? No, I doubt anyone would.
I have to say that after Loki, Zemo was the best Marvel villain so far. He had an actual person motive, he had the means and he came closer than anyone else to total success. I'm glad they didn't kill him off, I want him back in a later movie, my only gripe was the Freeman scene at the end, it was pointless unless they arranged for Zemo and him to work together, and they wasted that chance to make a team up. Sure, not sure what reason Freeman's guy would have to want the Avengers gone, except he seems to dislike them, but it'd be good to give Zemo an out to cause more trouble for them.
I agree there's a lot of people that didn't like the villain so I went into the movie expecting a weak villain but was super surprised by how good he was. He was a great villain imo
+Damian Billbrough I think they said Freemans' character will be an official government liaison between Wakanda and the U.S. in the upcoming Black Panther movie. What if Zemo reappears as a Thunderbolts agents leading or part of a team sent to Wakanda to retrieve either Bucky or Vibranium? He was the head of a covert special ops team for his country after all before the whole Ultron disaster according to this movie
One of my favorite lines in the movie is "He died while we were kicking ass" made by Tony about the boy who died. It showed exactly what the viewers never think of. They're too busy watching the heroes in action and winning that they don't think of the loss. Just one powerful line out of many in an amazing and powerful movie
There is a surprising amount of DC talk in the comments, got some news guys, DC universe is under new management, let's see how that turns out. I don't why I love it so much but when Tony said "I don't care, he killed my mom." I just fell in love with that line. That and when Cap found out Spidey is from Queens.... I just found it adorable.
***** I actually liked BvS. The only major problem I had with it was that the dream sequences felt out of place but that's really it. I personally love how goofy he is because I know a lot of people like that and it just kind of drives home that he is Spiderman but he's also a teenage nerd like Jeremy said. We have a good amount of goofy but mature heroes I just feel like we needed a goofy nerd hero.
+Gurb I was on the Andrew Garfeild side since the reboot...and i must say Civil War captured Spidey and Peter exactly how he was suppose to, cant wait for Homecoming
+Derek Kunze i legtimately liked the Andrew Garfield Spidey a lot; thought the movies and Garfield himself got unfair "hate" in the end... BUT that said.... Holland was phenomenal. Side splittingly phenomenal especially in the suit, obviously; the wise-crackin, sarcastic, motormouth Queens fanboy hero is back. Can't wait for more Holland Spidey
+Sammy Flores How about: Iron Man: "My best friend's name is James! He has been hurt by al this!" Captain America: "My best friend's name is James too! He has been hurt for many years!" Iron Man: "So… Friends?"
+Sammy Flores hey, Cap himself said he heard the name "Bucky" from Crossbones and he was suddenly just a helpless 16 year old kid, again. If Batman ever fights Captain America, all they have to do is yell Martha/Bucky at each other and we have a draw!
Best lines from each character Cap: But he's my friend. Bucky: I remember all of them. Falcon: Way to go tic-tac Scarlet Witch: You were pulling your punches Hawkeye: Played 18, shot 18, can't seem to miss. Ant-Man: Does anyone have any orange slices? Iron Man: You don't deserve that shield, MY FATHER MADE THAT SHIELD!!! Black Widow: We're still friends right? Vision: Well the door was open so I assumed. Black Panther: Don't worry Miss Romanoff. I'll kill him myself. Spider-Man: YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO REMAIN SILENT!!!
Tony Stark to Scott Lang in a prison :"Who are you? ".. he saw him first time without suit :D Also, Falcon to Spider man : " I don't know if you've been in a fight before but there's usually not this much talk. " The most emotional scene : Cap : " He is my friend" Tony : " So was I"
1. Black panther is a complete badass. 2. Ant Man was the best part of the movie. So funny. My new favorite superhero. 3. This is the best incarnation of spider man on film we've seen yet. The writers NAILED it.
I'll be honest, next to Bucky and what little we saw of Black Panther (mostly thanks to his poignant scene in the snow), Zemo was my favorite character in the film. A man who crumbled an empire, who clearly has a moral ground at one point in his life, a schemer, an avenger, and ultimately just a man. Seriously, what one man with 'patience and experience' can do is truly amazing, even if you hate him in the end.
Every second with Ant-Man. He was by far the best in this film, least to me he was. Distracted the entire team Iron Man. Honorably helped Cap's team, took a risk by turning into a giant, having no bonds with them, because he believes in Captain America. And my god he messed with everyone. Arrow'd into Iron Man's suit, socked Spider-Man to get Cap his shield back. threw that little truck, turned giant and slowed down Panther, practically everyone. Badass.
I'd love to say something nice about this movie but I feel like everything has already been said. Any man though, Spiderman was amazing but Lang stole the show for me. It was everything I wanted Batman V Superman to be. It was emotional and brilliantly written. 10/10
omg! tell me about it. I was thinking the exact same thing. they were willing to freaking nuke manhattan. and had shield still been in control and government run they would've wanted to blast sokovia out of the sky too. but the avengers step in and saves the day with less casualties than they would've had, but yet they gotta take the rap for dozens or hundreds of lives lost just coz they couldn't save everyone, whereas the government were looking at the greater good and was willing to let thousands die period. but no the heroes r the ones with the problem. they treat the xmen the same way and it so completely pisses me off. they don't ever think of the hundreds or maybe thousands of casualties there would've been more had the heroes not stepped in to begin with.
+Notoya Arthur exactly! these moments were earth threatening. an event that massive will have casualties. there's no way to contain damage that enormous. hell even with rumlow taking the biohazard weapon. who knows what his buyer was planning or how lethal that weapon would be.
Jules C my thoughts exactly. I mean I try to think of it from some of the victim's families point of view. How I'd feel if in that squirmish a loved one died for me and even then I still can't be mad at the heroes. Coz had they not been there hundreds of thousands would've died in sokovia. They pretty much stopped the next big bang from happening on earth. But because they couldn't save her son they r to blame entirely for everything. It's just so messed up. A hero's life is a lonely one. Granted the whole existence of ultron was actually Tony's fault. Funny how he wanted to get all self righteous that claiming that they needed to b put in check. When it was really him. He's the one that started everything not cap. If he hadn't made ultron non of that would've happened. But now he wants to have all of them locked into a restrictive contract. that's y I'm team cap all the way. He's absolutely right. That much power should not be controlled by governments. There is corruption everywhere. Who's to say the mission they send u on isn't for their own personal vendetta. Politicians can't be trusted
Every line that came out of Black Panther's mouth was amazing. Here are some prime examples. "Don't bother Ms. Romanoff. I'll kill him myself." "How long do you think you can keep your friend safe from me." "Move, Captain. I won't ask again." "Then why did you run?" "Vengeance has consumed you. Its consuming them. I am done letting it consume me. Justice will come soon enough." "The living are not done with you yet." Rest In Peace Chadwick Boseman, we will always remember you.
Bucky and Falcon in the car together was one of the highlights. Along with Ant Man getting big, Spider Man kicking ass, Vision being Vision, the end fight scene, the...
Love watching age of ultron and civil war and seeing the breadcrumbs that would eventually lead to endgame, wandavision, and Falcon and the winter soldier
All marvel bad guys suck "except for the Netflix ones" :v this version of Zemo is bullshit XD and the adaptation from the comic is one of the worst I've seen😒
+Bijan Sabeti you have a point XD but that doesn't takes the fact that he is one of the worst bad guys in the MCU, compare that cray baby with the punisher :v they both saw their families day, but one decided to go himself agents the gangsters and that kind of guys and also some super villains, and then theirs Zemo, a guy that also saw his family die but not like the punisher, he didn't had the balls to go get them and when he did his plan he tried to kill himself besides the punisher preferred to die fighting so his soul could rest, let's not forget that both are trained soldiers😒
I'm so glad someone finally fully understands Bucky. Everyone's just ignoring his beautifully complex character :'). Regardless of all his terrible actions, it's not his fault ! you can't help but feel for him and just love him and want him to have a chance to redeem himself. And yes that scene when at the end we find out what he did to Tony's parents. I almost fell out of my chair Cus just when they were this close to being good with each other, now he'd charge at him. I was literally scared for Bucky dying before a chance of actually living decently. Poor thing was used all his life and tortured. It's painful just thinking about it ... Buck, Cap and Falcon ( really hit the friendship spot). A super heroes brotherly bond :')
Gi-AntMan was the best! But I think the scene that really got me was when Zemo was talking with Black Panther. At first, I was like "Yeah, the villain is doing the typical 'motivation reveal.'" But it was when the camera pointed at the Cap vs Iron Man fight from where HE sat that sent chills down my spine. This *one* man, who wasn't even significant to them, came out of nowhere and completely obliterated the Avengers without having to even fight. Now he was watching the two most important superheroes kill each other, thanks to one man's years of planning. That's terrifying. After all, "with experience and patience, you can do anything"
Am I the only one who truly like Baron Zemo? I think he's the second best villain in MCU after Loki. Plus it's probably the first movie where a villain wins.
+KlaymenDel You're not wrong, but he's much better on second viewing. On second viewing your over your initial excitement and really watching the film and taking more things in.
+FEBAGames he was really underused but in a very good way, he's behind the scenes pulling the strings and is only after revenge using emotion not force, the performance and character genuinely impressed me in an understated way
+KlaymenDel i liked him. I feel he was a good catalyst for the conflict, and i understood where his rage towards the Avengers came from. "Relatable" villains are usually the best villains
I love the scene where Parker figures out how to take down Giant-Man by using a tactic done in Empire Strikes Back, while going over the scene in the most teenage way possible. That was such a likable moment. "Hey guys!! Did you ever see that really old movie.....Empire Strikes Back???? Remember when they're on that snow planet.......with the WALKING THINGY!!?!?!!"
+AJ Christopher There was a similar scene in Avengers 1 when Tony Stark was talking to Jarvis about going inside and through the flying alien, connecting it to a movie story line. I love how both Tony and Spidey have the same style (spitting out humor while fighting), makes it perfect that they're friends!
this movie is possibly my movie of the year...I loved the turning off heros into antagonist and protagonists and they made it very hard to choose what side.. I loved how the airport fight started jokingly like friends, but shit got real and they started actually fighting each other...the revelation at the end that tony's parents were killed really hit me.. and I loved the new spiderman he was goofy and funny and super chill 11/10
Why is no one talking about his Obama impression!?! That is was spot on!
+Carli Calixte haha I was about to comment the same thing, Jeremy is really a great at impersonations.
I literally just came to the comments to talk about that! haha!
Because it's an incredibly easy impression to do.
What do you mean nobody? Half the comments mention that!
+Daniel Y You do realize you're commenting a month later?....
Buck killed Tony's mom because she had the same name as his mom and he couldn't take that shit.
MARTHA
+Fat Pipe *sob* Martha! why!!!
WHY DID YOU SAY THAT NAME?????
Oh shit
Martha's day woot woot
Not only that but people seem to forget that Scarlet Witch's brother saved Hawkeye's life. I think there's even a line in there where he acknowledges that
My mom said this was the worst movie she ever saw she hated spiderman and she called black panther gay catwomen i love the movie and spiderman and black panther
+NTDzombies 2 Your mum is bad people.
He says that he owes a debt to her.
+Eliel Vladin ok
+Bobby McCool idk she has bad movie taste
I'd say my favorite part was when Black Panther gives up his hate and need for revenge, and even saves Zemo from killing himself. You don't see that very often, and it was very refreshing to see.
+Dark Mountain Productions Agreed! Loved the addition of Blank Panther and that whole storyline.
Yep I thought that was great. I forgot about it after the first viewing so it still had a big impact the second time around.
I thought that he kept zemo alive to make him suffer. Zemo had no reason to live and keeping him alive like that is just torture
YESSS
+N Slater One thing though, is that I prefer Andrews American accent a tad more than Hollands
That is how I see it anyways (I dragged on a bit there)
True
+Iwillone from what I remember, Andrew actually incorporates a lot of the Queens accent.
THAT OBAMA IMPRESSION HAS ME DYING 😂😂😂 I'M PISSED
Bucky: "Can you please move your seat up?"
Falcon: "No."
Whole theater laughed at that.
Same
Lmaoo DeadAsFuk at that scene lol 😂😂
you couldn't do that earlier?
the people in my theater room were fucking dying especially the faces Sam and Bucky made when Sharon and Steve kissed
same
I loved when spidey tells cap
"That shield does not obey the laws of physics at all" 😂😂😂😂
Omg yes I died when he said that. It's like between his Shield and massive civilian losses Marvel addressed the two biggest problems with realism in the MCU (imo).
Said by the guy who can jump 30 feet in the air and carry 20 times his own weight.
"Spiderman will be great at Cinema Sins" *Ding*
+Watzit Tooya
One hundred times his own weight. Spider-Man lifts 10 tons(20,000lbs). That's a hundred times the weight of an average man.
Chimp Pimp To save myself some time I'll just say that neither is wrong, it just depends on the writer. But for this particular incarnation, you might as well be right.
If only Tony's mom and Steve's mom had the same name...
lmfao
+XtremeDrake Well, their best friends have the same name ;)
130Saphira Damnit I didn't think of that! James! Nice catch!
+XtremeDrake WHY DID YOU SAY THAT NAME!
+XtremeDrake you sir deserve an oscar !!!
My favorite part...Spidey vs Falcon and Bucky?
"I don't know if you've been in a fight before but there's usually not this much talking!"
"Sorry, my bad."
Lol
+Zuviel Naazie Bucky throws a piece of destruction at Spider-man then hides.
"hey, you lost this!" Bucky comes out of hideing as it comes right back to him.
Oh yeah
That scene was just epic
The whole movie!! Felt like I was reading an comic.
(Red Wing saves them)
Bucky: Couldn't have used that earlier?
Falcon: I hate you.
“If he gets all of them, Vision is gonna die he’s gonna rip that thing out of his head....” Jeremy called it all the way back in 2016 Lol.
Cmon man everyone knew he was screwed the second they put the stone in his head
Actually, he called it already in 2015. In Age of Ultron review.
best part of the movie was Black Panther refusing to let vengeance consume him.
honestly my favorite character
Black Panther was my favorite character in the movie.
Skinperiod Inc. "as warrior, and as king. how will you protect him from Me?"
Skinperiod Inc. he almost did though lol and I think it was when zemo said "he seemed a good man, with a dutiful son." That's when he knew he was just a pawn in his plans and didn't want to sink to his level. Awesome movie
Joshua Kim I kept trying to wipe your profile picture off my screen. It looks like a hair.
The reason why Hawkeye was there was that Tony was basically imprisoning Wanda for what she did, and Cap told Hawkeye that so that he would help her escape. Hawkeye feels like he owes a debt to Wanda for Quicksilver saving his life.
yup
I saw it like that if Hawkeye did register with the government that means the gov knows about his family therefore if hydra takes over the gov that makes his family a target
+929shooter That's a really good point. Even the Avengers didn't know he had a family, except Black Widow.
Cap couldn't work for Hydra and so he won't throw his allegiance to any other Organization or Nation anymore.
agree.
He really symbolizes freedom and the act to choose.
definitely agree. surprised he didn't bring it up in the film
+Travis Houze that a sign of good writing not haiving to throw the points you are trying to make in a persons face and let them come to the conclusions you are making organically
+RedClaw87 THANK YOU!!!!!!
You mention Spidey grabbing Bucky's arm and pulling it to the side?
No one else has ever overpowered Bucky's cyborg arm. Spidey did it as an afterthought.
+Evnyofdeath i was going to say Black Panther, but the ring seemed to control it somehow, not overpower it. but yeah, he definitely seemed shocked
It was bullshit how he was overpowering Spidey though. He shouldn't be able to pull him.
+laz kar but Spider-Man should literally never get hit in hand to hand combat with his spidey sense and considering he can lift 10 times his weight or whatever he should be as strong if not stronger than cap
Shy guy But Cap has experience. Skill > Power
+Demonslayer 123456 You're clearly not familiar with Scarlet Witch.
not to mention Vision's infinity stone is called the mind stone.
CommanderCorner Yeah, that really explains why scarlett witch is stronger than Vision. Very helpful.
+Demonslayer 123456 She just is. Deal with it. Maybe try doing a little research instead of expecting other people to just explain everything to you.
my fav part is when Spider-Man just straight up yells "Holy Shit" at GiantMan... had me burst out laughing
+BusBuddyKyle Right?!?!? Hes such a dork I love it!
sebastianSHORTS i've always thought Spider-Man should swear, because dumb teenagers swear a lot (i know, i am one) and the fact that i never expected it to actually happen but wanted it to was a shockingly genuine moment
BusBuddyKyle I know. I'm not saying he should curse up a storm like deadpool but it fits his charecter
+BusBuddyKyle i loved the part when Spiderman caught bucky's metal arm and was like "woah you got a metal arm!".
i love pretty much everything about the movie, although the Empire Strikes Back line did make me cringe. no teenager refers to Empire as just "that one old movie with the walking thingies" especially Spider-Man who's a nerdy kid!
Anyone gonna mention young Tony Stark at the start of the film??... That was 10/10 special effects right there!!!
Unfortunately, it's already starting to look dated.
@@somerandolad yeah tbh it looks like shit lol

Never ever leave before the white screen on any Marvel movie, they almost always have 2 scene after the end of any movie so stay just in case. If not, you still get to enjoy pretty decent music :D
Me too!! My friends and I waited till the very end and we sat staring at a black screen for 5 minutes ): come to find that it was removed because we went to see a free early preview

absofuckinglutely
Be careful, or else Dakota Hazel's going to attack your opinion.
Way fucking better.

Why did you say that name?!?!?!?!
Tony Stank.
Hahah...
Best part lol!

Agreed
so true
+ReezyBeBreezy dude antman is so stupid
+playermartin286
Oh, stop.
Both spider man and Ant man were the only ones that got a round of applause when they first and last appeared on screen at my theatre
I wish they would've asked Hawk eye why he joined and he could have said "I guess I didn't see this coming"
+Brandon Layne Hell no.
r200h Why?
Brandon Layne that'd be a pretty bad line it would ruin the serious moment with an attempt at a joke. That moment is meant to be serious not funny and would probably hurt Wanda if he said that too
Thanks for pointing that out, I completely missed that
"Because Vision wants to hit that" omfg so true 😂

I was just about to say that
"Best fight scene in super hero film history."
Infinity War: Hold my infinity gauntlet.
Endgame: You're both cute.
Endgame: Hold My Tony
Ikr , 😍😍
Infinity war was 10 times better than endgame
+Throrface Which is why it made no sense for Cap to be pulling Spider-man towards him and shit.
Is this Tony stank
I love Stan lee
"yes this is Tony stank, thank you for that, I'm never dropping that by the way, table for Tony stank, one Mr stank"
RIP Stan Lee
When bucky told black panther, "I didn't kill your father. " and black panther responded, " then why did you run? " I wish bucky would've said something like, "I don't know, how about the fact that you're in a giant cat suit trying to take my head off."

Am I the only one who likes Ant-Man the most? I wish he was in the movie much longer!
Yea I loved when he was talkin shit about iron man and then stark just turns around and looks at him and is like "Who are you?" Probably my favorite joke in the film
I didn't nessisarily like him the most, but him coming on screen was one of my favorite moments.
He was my favorite part of civil war by far
when i heard that i was like "dayum Stark, Straight up savage"
david medina "superhero movies are totally better than animated movies," jeez.
that Barack Obama impersonation gets me everytime
90th like Amanda
Didn't Hawkeye said in the movie when he tried to get Wanda out of the compound "I owe debt" or something near that line which he meant coz he owes Scarlet Witch her brother's life?
Yup
+Alistair Crystal Von Taelorne and his family would be affected by the accords. AND Cap asked him to help
Oath I don't notice
+Echoingdolphin not really, he choose to retire, he wouldn't have been affected much and he wouldn't have been affected had he took parts in the accords either because they didn't talk about secret identities or any of that crap like they did in the comics.
xdarkwolf2255 but he was involved in the destruction of Sakovia and New York
Can you move your seat up? Funniest part of movie
"No"
Probably my favorite funny bit. "No." - Bucky moves over a bit.
+Marvel DC "Hey buddy! You dropped something!" Spiderman
"I hate you."
I love how they both smirked when Steve kissed Sharon
Scott: Hank Pym always said to never trust a Stark
Tony: .....Who are you?
I died at that part lmao
I got sucked into the loop of Civil War reviews. The pure joy that the MCU was bringing at that time is just out of control. What a Time to be alive.
The Captain America Trilogy was so good

@@bobsomething3103 Thats actually the funniest part
So, this movie's Batman V Superman done right, yes?
Correct
Stop
Pretty much the same premise. BvS was just done way too early. if they did bvs in an already established Dccu I would've been better
Batman and Superman hate each other due to misunderstandings and cause they just personally don't like each other
Cap and Iron don't really hate each other they just disagree on a specific issue which leads to a lot of conflict.
Its better but batman vs spurman was not bad it was good for what it was :the start and not the amazing JL movie.
+BranH 10:50
It's alright to be mad but would you really blame the guy? It's not like Bucky wanted to be a Hydra puppet. Steve didn't tell him because, guess how Tony would react? Oh wait, they showed that in the movie, Tony tries to murder someone.
Iron Man is not the hero but he is neither the bad guy here. The Accords law means well but Steve has a point, given that government always has agendas this doesn't really solve the problem but just places it on the government's favor.
if this was the real world I'd want them to be signed up but in a world that's been proven time and time that's infiltrated by Hydra. nope nope nope
+Caramel Frappe they showed it in the winter soldier
Yeah it really wasn't a plot twist. If you're wondering how Capt. knew about the assassination he found out in the Winter Soldier whilst he was in the old Hydra base.
+Caramel Frappe That was revealed by Zola in Winter Soldier.
Geerladenlad But what if I didn't get to see Winter Soldier?
Reverse spoilerism! ;-0
As soon as I saw Peter Paker walking with his bookbag i instantly got hype! Watching Spidy was my favorite part of the movie
same he beat some ass and had some good lines
15:18 Captain was emotional too, he did not want Bucky to get caught because he was his friend. Also Vision was on the side of logic (that is in info for character) :)
Yep, yep
+Mr93Suki He is emotional, but technically, Bucky himself IS NOT guilty of committing any of the crimes they want to condone him for under his own free will. Bucky, like Jeremy says, is the greatest victim of this entire film. He's a good honest man who fought and gave life and limb for his country in World War II, only to be brainwashed and converted by an evil Nazi death cult and turned into their weapon.
So yes. Cap is emotional, but that's not synonymous with being wrong. Logistically, he is right. Bucky is not guilty.
roger is right
+Mr93Suki he didn't want Bucky to get killed, and that's what the authorities wanted to do, shoot him on the spot.
Iron Man: "Friday? Who's voice is this?"
Ant-Man: "It's your conscience. We don't talk much these days."
That brought tears to my eyes laughing! 😂
Favorite part: when Falcon says he's sorry after Tony checks on Rhodie and Tony straight up blasts him. I would have loved to see the scene when Tony or whoever arrests all of them.
Same dx especially when he just flips back dx
I didn't know whether to laugh or be sad at that scene
jimmyshousevideos I was sad and laughing but it was too funny to be sad at dx
Especially since Tony blasted Sam who was there at the impact site, what would he do to Vision who actually shot his friend down with friendly fire? Answer nothing. In the moment the pain is intense and he lashes out. But Vision? Ain't squat he can do to Vision. Sums Tony up very well. That's why we love him! Team Cap all the way!
What was up with hot Aunt May, when I first saw her and Peter said "May", I thought he said 'Mary Jane' and that they were dorm mates. Youngest looking Aunt May ever, it's like she getting progressively younger as each series is made.
+Dunne N' dusted hahaha, glad I wasn't the only one.
not even 20, 15
She's not 90, she's in her 70s. It's weird but not that weird.
May married Peter's uncle Ben who is Richard Parker's big brother. If Richard was, let's say, 35-40 when he had Peter, Ben could be in his 60s 15 years later when Peter becomes Spiderman and May even older for all we know
I thought she was in her 50s (the MCU version)
she actually looks like an aunt not a grandma
So many great lines… "everyone has a gimmick now" was great.
The murder of Stark's parents were more brutal than I though. I get surprised.
Ikr
+mrxcs yeap if i was Tony i would blow Bucky and the Cap to hell on this moment
The living is not done with Zimo yet ;)
+AeroRomeo Indeed ;)
Thank you. We need the Masters of Evil gathered together.
I kinda like Zemo and he's also so far the only MCU villain that actually won.

One of my favorite lines in the movie is "He died while we were kicking ass" made by Tony about the boy who died. It showed exactly what the viewers never think of. They're too busy watching the heroes in action and winning that they don't think of the loss. Just one powerful line out of many in an amazing and powerful movie
they don't even bring up quicksilver lol
lololol
Hawkeye say he owes Wanda and they look at each other clearly dually thinking about him.

As soon as the crash at the beginning was shown, I knew it would end up being Tony's parents
Same
same here. I didn't need to see alot of things to know what was ganna happen!
Same, and it was even more obvious because they confirmed Bucky killed them in a car accident in Winter Solider
It wasn't confirmed as bucky. Even Steve didn't know it was him. He just knew hydra did it.
+Giuseppe Brancato i got it when it was playing on the monitor when Stark is like "i know this corner"

I didn't find the orange slices thing that funny. For me the best Ant-Man line was "uh hi, this is your conscience, we haven't talked much recently"
Tony Stark to Scott Lang in a prison :"Who are you? ".. he saw him first time without suit :D
Also, Falcon to Spider man : " I don't know if you've been in a fight before but there's usually not this much talk. "
The most emotional scene : Cap : " He is my friend"
Tony : " So was I"
I think you mean... Iron Man: I don’t care: he killed my mom.
Hey you forgot: Black Panther gard move or you will be moved. Black Panther as interesting that would be to watch..
Happy Mother's Day, Stark. ~sincerely, Bucky
Stank*
+low sheng LMFAO
heyyy he killed my dad too man -black panther
^^^dafuq? lol
+Zesty Tacos Um... only saw half a movie did we?
Jeremy You didn't talk about the Star Wars reference FOR SHAME
OMG that's what I was thinking
Every second with Ant-Man. He was by far the best in this film, least to me he was. Distracted the entire team Iron Man. Honorably helped Cap's team, took a risk by turning into a giant, having no bonds with them, because he believes in Captain America. And my god he messed with everyone. Arrow'd into Iron Man's suit, socked Spider-Man to get Cap his shield back. threw that little truck, turned giant and slowed down Panther, practically everyone. Badass.
Best Obama impression ever
lolol
I'd love to say something nice about this movie but I feel like everything has already been said. Any man though, Spiderman was amazing but Lang stole the show for me. It was everything I wanted Batman V Superman to be. It was emotional and brilliantly written. 10/10
You got a metal arm.. THAT WAS AWESOME.
+Kristen ingram I thought Jar Jar Binks was your profile photo for a second.
I havent seen the movie but it's okay to spoiler it because my sister gold about tthe movie but not the part who won
+Cash Sells Nobody won, team Cap got locked up while team Tony got rekt.
it's ridiculous that Cross was like, "You had numerous casualties in new York." and they sent a nuke. that seems very fucking counterproductive.
+Jules C That's how politics work, they had a worse solution and look at heroes like they're the problem
omg! tell me about it.
Cross is the worst, you mean Crossbones, right?
When captain America and that agent kissed. The faces of Falcon and Winter Soldier XD
😏
That was hilarious. They definitely got the humor right in this film.
+John The Nice Guy True bros are proud of their man. Finally growing up. XD
+John The Nice Guy Bucky's grin LOL!
Omg Yess Lmaoo 😂😂😂😂
The Star Wars reference by Spider Man was the best.
funny, because he hates star wars in the comics
SPIDERMAN in general
+L really? Why
+Marko Prološčić don't know, I wasn't really explain in great detail
+Doug R. I wasn't a fan of it. They did the "Hey guys, this movie is super old because I'm a kid."
Every line that came out of Black Panther's mouth was amazing. Here are some prime examples.
"Don't bother Ms. Romanoff. I'll kill him myself."
"How long do you think you can keep your friend safe from me."
"Move, Captain. I won't ask again."
"Then why did you run?"
"Vengeance has consumed you. Its consuming them. I am done letting it consume me. Justice will come soon enough."
"The living are not done with you yet."
Rest In Peace Chadwick Boseman, we will always remember you.
That Obama impersonation tho' X'D
Notice the activation sequence for Bucky was his life? Each word represents moments in the first movie.
Spider-Man should be in Infinity War because it's confirmed that Tony Stark will be in Spider-Man: Homecoming
Lol
YAY!!!!
You mean "Tony Stank"?
+Jacob Howard I hope to see Stark flirting more with Aunt May. ;)
+AeroRomeo ayy lmao
Bucky and Falcon in the car together was one of the highlights. Along with Ant Man getting big, Spider Man kicking ass, Vision being Vision, the end fight scene, the...
Love watching age of ultron and civil war and seeing the breadcrumbs that would eventually lead to endgame, wandavision, and Falcon and the winter soldier
dc should watch this movie to learn how to give their heros and villans clear motivations for their actions
+Bijan Sabeti Truer words have not been spoken.
All marvel bad guys suck "except for the Netflix ones" :v this version of Zemo is bullshit XD and the adaptation from the comic is one of the worst I've seen😒
but at least he had clear motivations and you could understand what he was doing, tell me y did lex make doomsday
+Bijan Sabeti you have a point XD but that doesn't takes the fact that he is one of the worst bad guys in the MCU, compare that cray baby with the punisher :v they both saw their families day, but one decided to go himself agents the gangsters and that kind of guys and also some super villains, and then theirs Zemo, a guy that also saw his family die but not like the punisher, he didn't had the balls to go get them and when he did his plan he tried to kill himself besides the punisher preferred to die fighting so his soul could rest, let's not forget that both are trained soldiers😒
bro all i know is that anything marvel puts out is better than the story in bvs
With your huge love of Star Wars Jeremy, I'm utterly shocked that you didn't mention Spider-Man's awesome Empire Strikes Back reference
Nobody is recognizing how on point his Obama impression is??? 5:40
This movie was fucking incredible. I loved everything about it.
That obama impression was WOAH
lolol
Yes! I even visualized it happening and that only made it funnier! 😂
"Hi I don't think we have met yet, I'm Clint."
*Catches exploding arrows like a boss* "I don't care..."
T'Challa is such a boss!
Disclaimer: Cap knew hydra killed Tony’s parents but didn’t know it was Bucky specifically
I can say with complete confidence that my new favorite superhero of all time is Black Panther.
He was so badass
+Koapaka Kros Same.
watch the cartoon. its so good
I loved every second he was on screen.
I agree, I knew nothing about BP but I'm a fan too
My favorite thing about the scene with Iron Man vs Cap and Bucky is when Iron Man says that Bucky killed his MOM, didn't mention his Dad.
Tony:" Who are you?"
Ant-Man:" Really dude...."
That Obama impersonation is so great and so funny 😂😂😂
Funniest part was easily Falcon and Bucky's reactions to Cap kissing Sharon Carter.
so true 😂😂😂😂
Mission Report December 16, 1991...
Haha
That is also the day Khazakstan declared its independence from the USSR!
+SilJeff It's Kazakhstan, man, but thanks for noting :)
+woojin214 Spoiler Alert: WInter Soldier kill Tony's parents ass
Go. To. Hell
my favourite part was the movie
Mine was the film, I felt like the movie was overrated
Am I the only one who truly like Baron Zemo? I think he's the second best villain in MCU after Loki. Plus it's probably the first movie where a villain wins.
+KlaymenDel You're not wrong, but he's much better on second viewing. On second viewing your over your initial excitement and really watching the film and taking more things in.
+FEBAGames he was really underused but in a very good way, he's behind the scenes pulling the strings and is only after revenge using emotion not force, the performance and character genuinely impressed me in an understated way
+jakewalle Zemo's plan was to break up the Avengers, what happened at the end of the movie?
Moive is such an amazing badass film my favorite part is when ironman fights bucky and cap why because That's when shit just got real
+Dakota Hazel Typical butthurt DC fanboy
+Aseril typical marvel fanboy crying cause that person is telling the truth. The truth hurts huh?
+DarkElitePredator Indeed.
+kc2788x This movie is anything but shit. It take everything DC and Marvel have been doing and take it up the notch.
+kc2788x how is it the truth? A lot of people loved the movie including myself. That's an opinion.
this movie is possibly my movie of the year...I loved the turning off heros into antagonist and protagonists and they made it very hard to choose what side.. I loved how the airport fight started jokingly like friends, but shit got real and they started actually fighting each other...the revelation at the end that tony's parents were killed really hit me.. and I loved the new spiderman he was goofy and funny and super chill
