No matter what happened in the rest of this movie, there was one scene that just totally made it for me. You know the one.
When Deadpool catches up to the guy who killed Vanessa, hugs him and then jumps in front of a truck.
Who ever wrote that scene should be given a fucking medal.
Don't really know what to think about this scene... It's kinda dramatic and unexpected, but also kinda dumb.
Honest to god it's surprising how many secrets this movie actually has. Between Juggernaut, surprise Brad Pitt (Fun Fact: Director David Leitch used to be a stunt double for him) almost all of the X-Force bitting the dust, it's actually amazing how much they hid. And funny af as well.

I am a genuinely huge fan of Jeremy. I have never agreed with a reviewer to the extent that i have agreed with him. its incredible.
I don't ever comment on videos, but this video deserved it. It had me cracking up and simultaneously had me in awe of how beautifully he put the whole thing together. He took it the extra mile and it paid off immensely.
Finally, he just seems like a really great dude. He reminds me of my friend Josh, and I love that dude to death, so I know Jeremy would be such a cool guy in real life. Anyways, if you see this Jeremy, much love brotha. Peace.

The writers confirmed in a reddit AMA yesterday that the mid-credits scene is canon and that Vanessa is in fact alive now.

I think that they just wanted to tell the story of a heartbroken Wade. On one hand I kind of liked that aspect of the movie but on the other hand I wasn't a fan of her dying immediately, Alien 3 style.

Personally I think Vanessa's appearance was a fine interpretation of the Death romance, even though she's not actually Lady Death like the comics.

That was exactly my read on it. It was a solid way to bring the death romance in and an excuse to adapt some of the Daniel Way stuff. Plus I think the rights for them to use Death are vague since I believe the mcu guys were actually considering using her for Infinity War but scrapped her and Adam Warlock because it would be just too much. Don't quote me on that this is off the top of my head. Either way they smartly gave themselves an out by doing the time travel joke at the end so they can continue with Vanessa proper if they ever wanted.
I literally thought that as soon as he tried to kill him self. wow both Gamora and Vanessa represented lady death well for both Deadpool and Thanos.
Come to think of it, I believe strong wind is actually the biggest villain in this movie.

Samur/Aye Have u watched the Attack on Arkham animated? That is what suicide squad wanted to be but fail so miserably, that is what i call comic book accurate. So yeah gonna stick with my opinion
Samur/Aye oh look this pretentious fan again. Do YOU actually read comics yoursel? Suicide Squad is edgier and much less of a lame cheesfleck than the DCEU made them. As the guy above said, check out Assault on Arkham and Hell to Pay animated movies. Both are what it could've been if it even slightly followed the comic books' tone.
That's an animated movie, not a comic. And yeah, I read comics, it's how I know that everything people complain about is a staple of the comics.
Opening title cards that label every character - At the start of EVERY issue.
Harley and Deadshot getting most focus - They are the ones most often leading the team and getting the most focus.
Enchantress turning on Waller/the Squad - Happens so much that it's a running joke between the characters themselves.
Any of YOU actually read the comics? Or do you just watch the animated stuff, because that's all you seem to be referencing, you're not talking about any comic issues... just like the people that don't know Man of Steel is based pretty faithfully on Superman: Earth One. The SS movie follows the tongue in cheek tone of the comics perfectly.
But hey what do I know... I only read comics for the past 30 years... but you guys watch a few animated movies here and there... _clearly_ you know better huh!

To sum up the Mid credits scene where he offs Ryan Reynolds. It totally makes sense from the beginning of the first Deadpool we see a people magazine with Ryan Reynolds. In this universe Ryan is real and separate from ryan as wade Wilson/Deadpool. So when he goes back in time, he’s actually killing off the actor Ryan Reynolds and preventing the green lantern from ever happening. And metaphorically in real life destroying it from his past.

I feel like I'm in the minority, but I liked DP2 quite a bit more than the first, and I loved the first. It was just all around better for me.

The mid credits time travel and montage in general, felt like the hishe video of how Deadpool 2 should have ended.
I gotta say, I REALLY enjoy it when Jeremy get creative with his videos. It would've been easy to do a spoiler video and just talk, but going that extra mile makes these videos a lot more fun.

Spoiler alert: Deadpool will teleport around in the mcu and save all the characters, and also kill Cable (Thanos)
No, in Avengers 4 they will enact the plan Strange talks about. They lost that fight on purpose but made it look like they were trying to win so that Thanos wouldn't look into the future like Strange did as soon as Strange handed over the stone.
My guess is we'll see Tony going to look for Thor at Nidavellir (last place the Guardians knew he was at) and end up making an Uru metal Asgardian Iron Man armour... or "Uru Man" if you will.
Widow will be hurt/killed during the fight with Thanos, which is the only thing that will snap Hulk out of his fear, giving us an MCU version of World Breaker Hulk.
The Gauntlet will probably be destroyed, meaning six heroes will have to use the stones in unison to undo what Thanos did, some of which will not survive the blast of power, giving us some real deaths that will stick. Most likely the OG Avengers (the human ones at least, Thor and Hulk would probably survive)
and then, Captain Marvel shows up after Deadpool fixes everything

Yeah but hopefully they'll be developed more in the next movie. I think its cool that they even included it, hopefully other films will follow suit in how they represent the LGBT community, i think it was well done, and the filmmakers didnt make a big deal out of it

Haha yeah that was hilarious. Btw i was using it as a example of how it could be done. If LGBT are going to be represented in other movies, I'd enjoy seeing it done in a similarly competent way as the people in charge of deadpool, but thats not saying it should be done in every movie. For example, in ragnorok and black panther both movies had characters in it who are comically gay or bi, yet neither of them decided to show it like deadpool 2 did. Neither case would the movie have to go out of its way to show it since the characters already were meant to be, yet black panther instead decided not to have that sort of representation in fear of fans reactions. As shown in deadpool 2, it could have been done without backlash (sorry didnt mean to right so much aha)

Haha, this was definitely an interesting and refreshing video. It's nice to see Jeremy having fun, getting creative, and trying something different with his reviews. Just when I thought I was getting tired of/bored with the monotony of Jeremy's videos, he goes and does something unique and entertaining as this.

Skyfall opening sequence with references to John Wick Director David Leitch and the reference to the gold coin "No Cash Value" as that's the payment that John Wick uses was a nice deep cut. Also the David Leitch Cameo as one the Mutant Prisoners that Cable kills by throwing of the military truck was awesome. The Brad Pitt Cameo as vanisher was a big surprise to me. Then the cameo of Matt Damon and Alan Tuydk as southern farmers when Cable arrives was pure hilarious. The Logan reference from the start of the film especially with re-enactment of his death scene towards the end with the action figure to him dying the same way as Logan did with the score from Logan playing in the background was funny. Also seeing Black Tom Cassidy brother of Sean Cassidy The Banshee was shown he could've been the next big bad for Deadpool. Also the mention of Nathaniel Essex aka Mr. Sinister for a second time says he will show up in an X-Force film since he is responsible for the creation of Madelyne Pryor the mother of Nathan Summers Cable.
The credits said that Alan Tudyk was one of those farmers, but the other farmer wasn't listed as Matt Damon. It was listed as someone else. Are you sure that was him?

I actually liked Deadpool 2 more than Deadpool 1. The first Deadpool movie was great and all, but after the first watch, my initial reaction was "I've seen it, I needed to see it, and now that I've experienced it, I don't need to ever see it again." But of course, being a HUGE fan of Deadpool, I rewatched it and rewatched it a multitude of times. But Deadpool 2, I wanna go back and see it. I have so much desire to watch it over and over again! :D

Suicide squad is a dumb fun movie. Not a masterpiece.....not even remotely. But people who act like it's one of the 10 worst ever for the genre, well there's a little something I want to show you. It's called the years 1993-2004. Watch the shit from that era than tell me SS is really that bad an attempt at a comic book movie.
