I heard a sequel is going to be made and that it will take place in the 90's (first movie was set in 89). It may not have good reviews but it made enough where they now want to make a sequel.

Depends on the contract... I believe most actors only get a fixed salary up front. You need to be quite big to get a share of the earnings later. (I assume Reynolds does...)
An actor's salary won't come from the box office. An actors payment comes from the film's budget. Each actor will get a percentage of the budget, as will all the crew and director. The rest of the budget is spent on props, filming equipment, sets, etc. etc. I'm not sure if it is up front or not but certainly their salary comes from a film's budget.

Pretty sure Ryan Reynolds just asked him to do the cameo, and brad Pitt got his paycheck cause Fox was so happy to have him. The first movie made so much money that the studio knew they’d make enough off the sequel to have the joke and be worth it.

I think this universe follows the rule of avengers time travel rules... like that he made an alternate reality in which neither Deadpool or green lantern is made. Like he saved that universe by stopping green lanternQ and stopped Deadpool in that universe at the same time

this review nailed it. I agree with giving it a B, it was pretty good, but I definently enjoyed deadpool 1 more. Deadpool 1 was alot funnier, and seemed more unique. I was a little let down by deadpool 2, it was a good movie just not the movie i wanted it to be.

Glad Weasel got shit canned afterwards. He had too big of a part in this and he wasn’t funny, just annoying. The overall humor in DP2 seemed forced. More crude jokes and cursing doesn’t equal a better movie. Domino/Cable were the best part.

Nah maybe from a more of a film standpoint it was done a little better, but whereas the first one was a perfect adaptation of the comics, this one took a few too many liberties and tried to be its own thing. Still a great movie, but pretty much any Deadpool comic fan will agree the first one is the best.

Pretty good review, I'm not sure why you would be confused about the kids position though. He starts out lashing out against anyone that would try to take him back to the orphanage. And decides to go to the cold box instead. While there he sees Deadpool is the only possible person that could be his friend and he tries hard to be his friend, but when Deadpool rejects him that's when he starts going towards becoming a bad guy. Seems pretty straightforward to me. All of his actions or elicited by emotional responses.
Deadpool also pointed out he has anger issues with a splash of diabetes

Just saw it 3 hours ago and honest to god I loved this movie... never spent this much smiling and laughing through a movie for a while. Great cinema experience and it’s so much fun!!!! I personally liked it more than the first movie, and the new characters are brilliant (domino is a new fav)! Go see this ASAP for a bloody great time

Setting up a franchise by changing the character a little bit is one of your problems? And I think think recycling a plot from another movie was the point. They were making fun of that aspect of that film.

I think Deadpool is more open to working with a team after his alliance with Colossus and Negasonic Teenage Warhead worked out so well.
I gotta be honest. I felt short-handed. Didn't like the movie that much. Deadpool 1 was better.
This one had a lot of jokes that weren't that funny. Too much improv by Reynolds, and that kinda shows in some sections of the movie.
The third act was weak and anticlimatic. A number of scenes left for the mid-credits were kinda relevant (specially the one where Vanessa was brougth back).
Cable was a lousy fake antagonist. His eye was not permanently bright. His time-travel gimmick was barely explained and his insight was barely approached. He just hanged around with big guns. Cable is more than that.
Everything looked WAAAY superficial. Nearly all of X-Force dying was for nothing. Not even Shatterstar had a shining moment.

The scene where they all died made laugh so freakin hard
They knew the story line was a rip-off of T2. But they get a pass because they went the extra step to reference it so heavily and mock themselves for ripping it off so blatantly. Look at the backgrounds of the final act: the rocking animals on the springs and merry go round playground equipment are pulled directly from the Sarah Connor dream sequence in T2 where the bomb goes off and her flesh is burned and blown off of her skeleton. I was laughing my ass off when I saw those references.

I completely disagree. The first is one in 50 years kind to film, the second is just better than the average sequel.
I'm one of the least emotional people you'll ever meet, but that "Is this heaven?" scene at the end really brought the feels. The song choice was perfect (especially if you picked up on its relation to the original music video). It was masterfully done. I want to see it a 2nd time specifically for that part.
First off, it was Atomic Blonde, not American Blonde.
And secondly, I loved the first one but this is a lot better. I liked giving Deadpool a more down-to-Earth and emotional core in this movie, which shows he's more than just a funny guy who cracks jokes and doesn't die. And also, this movie is goddamn hilarious. The credits scene is, without a doubt, the best one I've seen from all of these superhero movies. And the soundtrack is also killer, with AC/DC, Dolly Parton, Cher, Peter Gabriel, a-ha, Celine Dion, and more.

This movie is basically a comedic parody of Logan, in a great way. The movie literally opens with Deadpool using a Logan music box with the figure of Wolverine impaled in the branch on top. And when Deadpool dies, they used the same music when Logan died. It was hysterical.

This was a very enjoyable sequel and one of the more fun movies of 2018; however, the first one is still better. The jokes in Deadpool 2 at times felt dated and so forced. The fourth wall breaks also seemed to bring the movie to a complete stop, which wasn’t the case with the original. I also didn’t appreciate how many jokes were borrowed from the first movie. Overall, I’d still give the movie *two thumbs up.*
I hate scoring movies, I think it completely takes away from a person’s actual thoughts on the movie.
Over the last 2 years I legitimately watched the first DP around about 27 times; and with all this experience I can tell you, both movies are fucking fantastic entertaining action comedies, my only gripe with the first one was the third act of the movie and the villain is just straight up boring af, as with this movie I feel like I was never bored at all. I do realise it could be due to the sheer amount of times I’ve seen DP1 but my ratings are DP1 9.5/10 DP2 10/10.
Both amazing movies but DP2 has a slight edge especially due to the higher budget. I must admit though I was surprised by the amount of jokes that didn’t land in DP2 but the jokes that do far surpass the first one’s.

I liked this one a little more than the first but they excel in their own ways. I liked that this one had a lot more going on and I don’t think the whole X force twist(if you can call it that without spoiling it) will ever get old, I couldn’t breathe at certain points in this movie the humour was spot on

Finally got to see this movie and I absolutely loved it. I think I actually like this more than the first one, which surprised me.
Deadpool 2 didn't feel fresh. It felt very messy. I liked that they brought back characters that I enjoyed from the comics such as Cable, Juggernaut. But the jokes were sometimes just exhausting to listen to. But I also am aware that Disney is going through the process of buying the rest of the X-Men characters including Deadpool. So I feel this movie was more of an attempt to just let everything loose before Disney takes over the reigns.

I really liked the emotional value of the film at the end. Not so much throughout, but the end coming together and really getting the picture, it ended up being a nice message for everyone to relate to.
As a fan of the first one, this movie was a big letdown.

5.18 - Chris went full Eastwood, man lol
I saw this movie last week and it sucked so much. I went with this Japanese woman and she was hot. She kept putting her head on my arm so I thought it was okay to touch her. I reached out for her hand and took it, luckily she wasn’t angry and she held my hand too. I felt incredibly aroused. I suddenly lost all interest in the movie and started thinking about my next move. I moved my hand onto her thigh and started to softly squeeze the warm flesh of her plump leg. She didn’t seem to mind it. I also took this opportunity to sniff her scalp and it smelt heavenly. After the movie FINALLY finished we left and got into the elevator. We were alone together, we were still holding hands, I turned to kiss her feeling confident that she would kiss me back....but, she didn’t. She turned her face away and I quickly stopped. I felt so embarrassed, my face felt hot and I’m sure it went red. We exited the elevator and I said I had to go. We said bye and parted ways.
The end credit scene has me dying😂

I personally think Deadpool 2 was 2x better than the first. My only problem with the movie is that, it felt kinda messy at some parts. But, overall both movies are amazing and a really nice introduction to the character -- for those who don't read comic books or know nothing at all about The Merc With The Mouth.

I loved the emotional side to Deadpool 2 Anyone else?
I'm really surprised that so many people liked this movie. I mean even in the screening it felt wierd, the cinema was full but dead silent, which indicates how messy the movie is and how much the jokes didint land. Every single thing of good on it was just a watery-down redoing of the first movie, we dont feel like we really know any of the new character and neither that the old ones have had a further development. Cable and Deadpool are long time favorites of mine in the comics, and I really loved the first film, but this one just felt like an enormous unfunny wast of potention that played too safe for its on good. Ow, and also, I find really wierd that even through there are so many people hyping the movie, that theres no one praising it for its plot or characters or executions. Everytime someone says something good about it, its usually something like "best movie. loved the dubsteb joke" or some shit (????) .... I mean, if thats all that someone has to say after viewing such a "good" movie, than well, it makes me wonder

My theater was silent too, so I respectfully agree. I don't think this was a good movie, it was too predictable. Now, I haven't watched most of the other Marvel movies, so that may be a reason why I found it unfunny. I'd say tho, that if a movie needs you to have seen five other movies to make you laugh, then it's not good enough.

Sorry but I'm calling bs on the entire theatre being silent part. It's not possible for everyone to not laugh at even one of the jokes at all. Even if it's true that either has to be one grumpy and insenitive community where people can't take a joke, or sored by one hitting close to personal, sitting beside people that are too afraid to laugh cause of previous group. And given the similar comments here about the first Deadpool movie ("Bed movi, jokez was lem"), that doesn't define anything other than you people hving an elite sense of humor. Get ovee your lousy astonishment.
Both were good, funny and enjoyable movies.
The jokes were awfull, too self aware , rminding me this is a movie every 10 minutes isnt my cup of tea when it comes to comedy.

Disappointing review. This one was better than the first one. In many ways.
I disagree, most scenes kept dragging on and felt unnecessarily long, half the jokes werent that funny, and the mutant kid was cringey to watch, i wish the character would have been written better. plus the cgi was god awful in juggernauts scenes, kinda dissappointing. but domino was the one of the best things in this movie though.

I disagree. The emotional side of the film made absolutely no sense to me and during the end credits scenes it truly did not matter at all so what was the point of putting it in there? The film felt like it never really earned the emotion it was going for. Deadpool 1 was a much more cohesive story tbh.
So excited to see it tonight. Don’t think I’ve been to an opening night of a Marvel film so looking forward to seeing what it’s like

my favorite part of the first movie were the humanizing moments. i loved the relationship he had with his girlfriend. watching them become closer was my favorite part
