I love the way this figure looks, especially with the mouth closed. There’s a very determined and intelligent look to it like a predator would have. That’s probably the biggest point this T. rex has over PNSO’s. PNSO’s head looks kind of goofy, especially when closed.
For the tail, try the magic kettle trick. Hold the connecting part of the tail in the hot kettle for 20 seconds, then connect it to the dinosaur. Hold it hard in and while you do that make sure the tap is on with cold water, take the seam under the cold water for 20 seconds while you hold it hard together. Best luck!

Excellent review. This is the one I pre-ordered, and I'm still waiting for BBTS to get it in. I also pre-ordered the diorama base pack, and the broken horn King Trident as well. One thing I do wonder is how this sizes up alongside the BotM 1/35 scale T. rex? I'm thinking of having this displayed alongside the WWD Kickstarter Exclusive figure later on.
Would’ve loved to do that comparison but my BoTM 1:35 is currently being repainted by a friend. I’ll definitely post some pics on Instagram when it gets back to me.

Rebor basically put different keratin coverings " on a JP head _ it does NOT fit actual Tyrannosaurus skulls_ is far too wide and broad( one of numerous reasons why I retired mine from the shelf to the garbage bin ). Spare your money , Eofauna ,BOTM and PNSO's Cameron ( barring liplessness) are ACTUALLY THE definitive representatives of Tyrannosaurus on the market

Thank you for the video. I just purchased the Rebor T Rex Kiss Mountain model from Amazon (Sold by Run Yi) and was pleasantly surprised when I opened the package and examined the model. The tail fit perfectly with no gap and the head, which came with the jaws banded together, seems to be just fine. Upon removing the band I was able to open and close the jaws repeatedly with no problems at all. The jaws continue to close with no gaps. Was I just lucky or has Rebor fixed this issue?
My copy of this figure came in the mail several days ago and I can honestly say, it is one of the most stunning dinosaur models I have ever seen. I am in awe of this piece, and truth be told I'm probably going to order another one just two have two copies of this model. I love it just as much as any of the higher end Nanmu models I have.
Great figure, especially as these statue types are concerned. But taking action figures into the mix, BOTM peaked for me and its gonna take a truly next level figure to dethrone it's Rex.
Rebor has been improving lately and they outdid themselves with this and the King Trident. Also I am convinced Kiss is a stand user and Wilson is his stand ( a different Jojo reference)
I bought it one month ago and it’s magnificent. The best T Rex figure. Personally I would have liked some feathers, but still it’s the number 1 of my dinosaur top. Greetings.
Great looking figure! Alas, the tail seam and the uncloseable mouth, together with the uncertain scaling (1:30? or 1:35?) leave too many boxes unchecked for me... Let's see what Eofauna brings with their version, can't wait!
I'm torn. I need an accurate Rex figure for my collection. Was interested in Wilson or this, but knowing Eofauna are making one based on Sue (so hyped!!!) has me thinking that I'll just wait for that

Still waitong for a Trex model based upon Trix. Shes my favorite T. Rex skeleton, since she was 75 to 80% complete when they found her a few years ago in Montana
Great model, another underrated model at ridiculous price is collecta "t rex with prey" . I think the shape is great and scientific accuracy seems to be ok. Also love safari ltd feathered t rex. With Wilson these are my favourite t rex realistic models. I also have papo running t rex, rebor king t rex and vanilla ice. Not scientific accuracy but great to display as "movie t rex". Love all of them.
I ordered both Kiss and Tusk. Kiss reminds me of Sue with the built. I have the PNSO Winter Wilson it’s supposed to be based off of AMNH 5027 but in the cards it comes with it said it’s based on Stan. It’s the same figure.

When i ordered this figure i just felt a huge excitement in my chest, I decided to order the “tusk” variant simply because i enjoy my rust red rexes, cannot wait to display him next to my Wilson! Now i still think Wilson is one of the finest rex models you can get, but the REBOR rex definitely did this animal justice! Now for the specimen it’s referenced by, i could not find any references for Stan’s fossil material but judging by the way the individual looks Im going to assume its Stan, the skeletal and the post card’s skull is obviously Stans head. Now i cannot wait to see Eofauna’s interpretation of ?Sue? The tyrannosaurus “imperator”. Now that will be one fine model! Once again, great review on this beautiful piece of scientific art, i really enjoy the excitement you put into your reviews.

Does the support stand work well to stabalize it? Looks a bit flimsy for such a heavy figure but I don't know since it's still a preorder on BBTS. Rebor released a few bases too but I'm not sure if I want to shell out the cash especially since another channel just reviewed them and they had paint chips all over them right out of the packaging...
The support rod works very well. Have no worries it’ll give out. Kiss has been displayed in a room that reaches into the high 90s and hasn’t warped a bit with the rod in place. Do have the bases coming in soon from bbts. Hopefully the work just as well as the rod.
The accurate Rexes are so much cooler looking than the stylised/movie ones. That colour scheme is also killer. Makes it look dangerous but realistic too.
Eesh, talk about wiping the floor with the PNSO rexes. This thing looks incredible, congrats to Rebor! I'm definitely gonna try to get this or the BOTM rex for my definitive rex in my collection.
If I were to get one of these, I think it would have to be "Tusk", since I already own their "King T-Rex" figure, and as such "Tusk" would be a nice "upgrade" to have standing beside it. And I somehow like "Tusk's" colourscheme better - it brings out the details better too.
This figure is absolutely beautiful. I was tempted to get PNSO's Trex Wilson, but this lipped version by Rebor is outstanding and I'm glad I waited. Big problem though; my allowance was cut off months ago and I'm at my last £30. This figure goes for £44 on everythingdinosaurs in his link.😫😭
This is the best looking model T. rex I’ve seen so far. It’s a miniature Hank, a big buff daddy. 🥵 I might just want it despite the overload of t rexes I have (not even half of what exists…).
Well if nobody is going to say it I am...Wilson may not have lips, but is more accurate, because it has a overall accuracy and rebor doesn't really do.
@@NTypMitAccount I know willson very well, light brown with darker stripes, slightly facing down, no lips with somewhat of a small jaw and overall head. Not chunky enough. So to answer your question, yes I did look.
Hot take: I find this rebor t. rex unappealing both the kiss and tusk version. I’m not sure why because I am more a fan of lipped theropods and a lipped tyrannosaurus figure that looks exactly like a tyrannosaurus (for example the Beast of the Mesozoic Tyrannosaurus or a customized Lipped PNSO tyrannosaurus) would be awesome. With this rebor figure there is just something off about the shape of it to me especially with the head for some reason. To me it just seems like another theropod trying to imitate a real Tyrannosaurus Rex. But that’s just my opinion so yeah.

I think a bit of sanding down on the plug should do it maybe try a dremle or something hopefully that will reduce the gap

This figure looks like an updated version of the Rex from Carnosaur.

Someone did a PP hank paint job on kiss. It looks fantastic!! Rebor isn’t shy about copying color schemes. They need to do a hank release!!

It is NOT more accurate! Kiss has better detail, is more chunky, Wilson is nowhere near as good.
