I received my copy of "Kiss" about 2 weeks ago and for the first time since I began collecting ten years ago, a scientifically accurate T rex sculpt can stand toe to to (or snout to snout) with my nanmu JP Rexes. I am in awe of this sculpt. Tusk will be arriving some time today :)

I bought the KISS version because I needed a scientifically accurate version of the Tyrannosaurus Rex. I think Rebor did a fantastic job. I also collect all the Nanmu Tyrannosaurs. Great review Andy - thanks once again.😊
Watching your video, I happened to glance up at my Kiss when you mentioned the gold eyes.
I'm sat in a dark room with low evening light coming in through a single open door, and when I looked, all I could see was a glint in the eye socket on the silhouetted model - just like a predator's eyes at night!
Kiss is the best Tyrannosaurus rex figure so far! And certainly best Rebor figure! I love it! Maybe I get another Kiss and make em a couple 🤔 I would have gotten Tusk too but I prefer lips way more personally.
I wish Rebor would hurry and release the King Trike, I have had the Tyrant T. rex and the Fallen Queen Trike for so many years. i would really like to finally complete the diorama. That said, these figures look great.
Same here, but I'll add Hazelnut the juvenile Triceratops to the list of diorama candidates also waiting for King Trident to be released, so I can make a mega-dio. Hurry UP Rebor!
the Kiss paint app is almost identical to the lifesize Blue Rhino Studio rex
Honestly love both of them. Good to see another Rebor review here as well, as they are my second fave figure company behind Nanmu.
Those tails are not fully inserted, that's why the seam is so wide. They can go more inside, and to achieve that you can't do it "in dry", you have to use a lubricant (or oil).

Kiss is easily the best of the two. The gorgeous coloration and the lips make it a must have
I preordered Kiss back in May from BBTS and it arrived over the weekend. Gorgeous figure. I know some collectors are having issues keeping the mouth closed flushed once opening it, so I’m keeping mine shut; it arrived perfect and I don’t want to risk it not closing fully afterwards. I planned on displaying it with its mouth closed anyway, so not a big deal - although from your video, it looks like Rebor did a great job on the teeth.
In Mexico all the figures are distributed by "Tienda de Dinosaurios"

I think this is my favorite figure yet, Kiss, Tusk has good hind feet detailing though

Even though I am not a fan of the Tyrannosaurus rex having lips at least that the kiss version has better paint color and when it opens its mouth you can see its teeth But in terms of the tusk version the tusk version is my favorite of course
Doesn’t really matter if your not a fan because it’s scientifically accurate so it’s gonna be here until proved otherwise which is unlikely.
@@heatherthomas97 Dinosaurs are not lizards mirror completely different branch of reptiles that is why I don’t think you do not have lips and yes I know that dinosaurs are not crocodiles either
Like it most dinosaur artwork they put even dog lips on some Therapod dinosaurs come on Dinosaurs are not dogs either
I honestly like the tusk colors way better (at least my opinion) tusk has a nice reddish brown color and has markings that fade in a realistic way, not saying kiss’s is not realistic but at this point there is no “better” they are both as equally good.
Well, won't be getting these guys then. I'll get the ones who spit in the face of this "Scientifically Accuracy", nonsense.

The separation line between the tail and body is very wide. Such beautiful well made figurines and they came with that defective issue. That makes the latest PNSO Paul the Tyrannosaurus a superior one.

I was the other way around. I liked tusk's color scheme better but wanted the lips. But when kiss arrived, the color was much more muted and natural than in the pictures. It looks amazing. Likewise tusk's paint is also more muted and natural but its way less appealing that way. He still looks great, but it looks like half an attempt was made without that vibrancy.
I'm desperately hoping for a scientifically accurate triceratops next, but I'm guessing it wont be anytime soon with them releasing their jp style trikes now.

@@LeoTheYuty I've got eofauna dominant triceratops. He's great. Way better horns than any other figure I've seen. It's just that he's too glossy compared to kiss. I think what I'm going to do is spray him with some frosted glass clear coat, take off that gloss so he stops looking like a toy next to kiss.

dayam, Kiss is beautiful! Might just pick it up, it's either Kiss or the BOTM rex.
I would say kiss, better colour, and I don't particularly need articulation but that is me.
@@Tyrannosaurus_rex. The BOTM 1/35 rex also comes in a Walking with Dinosaurs paint scheme, so that advantage is torn to shreds. I'm just waiting for photos of the BOTM rex in-hand before I decide.
