I found this unboxing video quite by chance and loved it. Your excitement and enthusiasm is so genuine and contagious. The entire BOTM range is a wonderful fusion of awesome sculpting detail, amazingly eye-catching paint apps and clever engineering. You really need to hold one in the hands to fully appreciate their weight and quality. Enjoy!!
Thank you very much! 😊 I hope a lot more females are excited about dinosaurs, dinosaur collectables and fossils, but just don't show it as much 🦖 It's great to hear from another lassie who loves them 😊
Nice Video of the Tyrannosaurus from Beasts of the Mesozoic and it looks beautiful and very gorgeous in my opinion and I would get one for my collection but I’m actually enjoying this so much.
I got the regular 1/35 Tyrannosaurus rex as a taste of the line, then made the decision to get the 1/18 scale T. rex and I absolutely agree. The Beasts of the Mesozoic line is incredible, the best representations of dinosaurs I have ever seen. and King and Queen of them all is the 1/18 scale Tyrannosaurus. It is a gorgeous thing, wonderfully articulated, mightily hefty, and a beautiful display piece/action figure. I'm completely sold on this line and I've now got Jane, the Torosaurus, and I have the adult Triceratops on the way.
The 1:18 is still my favourite dinosaur figure ever and probably always will be! I'm delighted that you love yours just as much! 😊 I am of course greatly anticipating the Allosaurus from this line, as well as the two large 'raptors
Just found your channel a few days ago, and wanted to say thank you for bringing such a contagious positive energy to your videos!! it genuinely makes it so nice to watch and makes _me_ giddy about the figures lol Also, I was wondering if there’s any chance you could give a full review to this T. rex, as I am looking into buying it and would love to know the thoughts of someone who’s owned it for a little while now. If not, a simple comment of pros and cons would be a big help in deciding. Cheers!! 🫶🏼
Thank you so much for your support! ❤️🦖 It is greatly appreciated, and it's lovely to hear when people enjoy my videos! I'd love to do a full review of this rex, but don't know when I'd ever get around to it 🙈 Hopefully I will sometime, but in the meantime I can tell you this T. rex is my absolute favourite dinosaur toy EVER, and I do recommend it! 😊 However, it is very large and expensive, and the base it comes with really isn't much use, so the stand that CBS are currently developing for it will also be a necessary purchase. I'm currently using a shortened Gundam stand for mine, but the rex still shifts a little under her own weight, especially when it's hot, and can tip over, so I kept her somewhere where she cannot fall and get scuffed (or injure anyone, she weighs a LOT 🙀) You'll also have to factor in a parts box for the interchangeable pieces when you're not using them to keep them all together 😊 Negatives aside, this is the most impressive dinosaur toy I've EVER seen! 😻 The articulation is good, the interchangeable parts aren't too difficult to swap around, the paint quality is top-notch and is durable, and the sheer presence of this figure, of having a rex who's been reconstructed on scientific data and measurements at this scale is awesome!! I hope this helps 😊 Thank you again! 🦖🦖
@@aeonfire82 thank you so much!! And don’t worry, I understand, it’s a big figure so it’d be a bit of a pain to review haha. I did hear about the issues some people were having with stability and holding certain poses, so I’m glad David took the time to resolve these issues with the upcoming stand. And again thank you for your insight, it’s really really helpful, and I think you’ve convinced me to finally pull the trigger on it!!😌
I’m so excited to get my 1:18 T Rex from BOTM. I absolutely love yours! I ordered the special edition color, and I hope it looks as beautiful as the one you have.
That’s the one! I had a hard time deciding between the two designs. I’m happy to hear you liked the look of the one you saw in the box. Mine should arrive sometime in January.
It was pretty spectacular, very vibrant! BOTM figures are superb in their close resemblance to prototypes. If I had the money I'd have so many more!! ❤️🦖
That figure is about as large as the Lost World Bull T-Rex. I will definitely have to box other figures to make room. Curious about the plans for Beasts of The Cenozoic line.
That will be quite extraordinary 🤯 I swear David must never sleep in his pursuit of bringing prehistory (and science fiction) to life!! 😅 I'm still laughing about your suggestion about the Ewoks 😆🦖
I always use immersion of the difficult part in very hot water for 30-40 seconds, in this case both the butt-end of the rex and the fitting end of the tail, but I have to admit it still took Alan bracing the figure and me pushing it on to get it there. What I have found since is that the tail now pops on and off with relative ease, which can make some poses a little awkward but to all intents and purposes it holds extremely well! You may also find the hip joints loosen up quite a bit just through use. I hope this helps 😊🦖
Definitely! 😊 It is possible to get it to stand in a fairly active pose using the articulated legs too, but it does eventually tip over. It's a really cool figure! ❤️🦖
Thank you, I appreciate the support! 🤗 However, it is sadly unlikely that I will be continuing this small, ramshackle operation, particularly in the near future. I hope my content has provided some entertainment for fellow dinosaur-lovers, and I'm always happy to hear that I have, in some small way, achieved that! May the Fourth be with you 😊 Many thanks again! 🦖
I think, judging by what David Silva has said, that it's going to be re-released with some tweaks to its articulation! So in the future, you might be able to get an even better one! 😊 Either way, I honestly can't recommend this figure enough, it's amazing, and I feel really lucky to have one! Thank you for watching 😊🦖
It is singularly the most expensive model I've ever bought, and that's with saving for the Kickstarter 😵 If I hadn't got it through that, it almost certainly would have remained in my realm of dreams 😅🦖
Maybe a kennel, the size she is 😆 I suspect mine's going to be a floorosaurus for the foreseeable future 😅😳 Luckily I have this room to myself that I can keep her in 😊🦖

I see the cat likes the box! Great unboxing video.
Thank you, and a very Happy New Year to you! 🤗🦖 I'll have to put the box somewhere Spooky-proof 😅🐈⬛
Yeah. Alright. You sold me. That looks amazing.
In that case I hope you'll find it every bit as azing as I do! 😊🦖😻
Great to see a female so exited about a T. rex collectable ! I’m in that club also, so really enjoyed your enthusiasm and unboxing

This thing is absolutely beautiful. I’m still eagerly waiting for my 1/35th scale figure and I’m dying from the wait
I hope it arrives for you soon! It's a spectacular figure at any scale 😻🦖
I got both 1/18 figures and pictures and videos just don't do them justice. They are beautiful, David really nailed it with these.
I totally agree! I've seen so many pictures and videos of them, but to actually have them in hand is totally different ❤️🔥🦖
Unfortunately was not able to get my hands on this perfect figure but its grest to see u have so much fun. Happy new years!
Thank you so much, and thank you for watching ❤️ I hope you have a very Happy New Year too! With lots of new dinosaurs 🦖🦕

Hello!
Wow.... love BOTM!
Best regards from Germany 😊👋🏻
Thank you very much! 😊🦖

Ooh, the Dino Riders one?? I have briefly seen that, just in the box, and it was really stunning and vibrant ❤️🦖

Amazing trex ! And what a cool outfit you have!
Dinosaur everything 😆🦖 Thank you for watching!

Devil of a time trying to get his tail
On, any suggestions on easier application?

@@aeonfire82 thank you for your quick reply I’ll give that a go, the hair dryer was not much help Thank you again !
No problem! Let me know how you get on 😊
@@aeonfire82 I shall try again thank you. I’ll let you know
Very best of luck! ❤️🦖
show more the 1/35 scale one plz
Nice... and BIG!
Probably my all-time favourite dinosaur toy! 😊🦖
The 1/35 T-rex can stand on it own just like it bigger counterpart, you just have to pose the feet right and stable 👌👌👌
It can indeed, I've played with it a lot since I got it 😊 I've not bothered to use the bases at all yet!! 🦖❤️
@@aeonfire82 it balance better with the standing legs than the posable legs
